an Opposites novella
Adult Dystoptian majorly M/M series
TTC Publishing November 23rd 2014
Raven is the extremely smart if somewhat naïve Priest of The Order that resides within House Gaeland. He was born to House Gilley, but came to Gaeland when he was thirteen to prepare for his position within The Order. Tanis is the overbearing and cocky Captain of the army to Greece. He came to Gaeland initially as an escort to his sister, Maeve, when she was matched with Aiya. He stayed because of the electric connection to one enigmatic Priest.
Tanis fought hard to win Raven’s affections and eventually his love. They were committed to each other during a sunset ceremony on the sandy white beaches of Greece, but are also planning a large more official ceremony befitting men of their station at House Gaeland. It’s the private time these two share where they really let their guard down. I have a lot of fun with these two when I’m writing their personal and passionate scenes because I love to show Raven’s eagerness to explore his sexuality, and Tanis’s vulnerability when it comes Raven.
You will have to go grab a copy of The Cellar to read the entire chapter, but here is a juicy little teaser…
Warning ** this excerpt is intended for mature audiences only and contains words and descriptive of a sexual nature between two consenting, adult males.
With that Tanis descended on him like a dog in heat. He bit and sucked Raven’s lips and tongue into his mouth as he ground his own rock hard shaft up and against Raven’s, causing Raven to cry out in pleasure.
Tanis brought two fingers up and sucked them into his mouth before concentrating on sucking Raven’s tongue into his mouth once again. Then Raven felt those wet fingers prodding his entrance, before one slipped inside. The burn was exquisite as Tanis added the second finger and drove them slowly into Raven’s wanton passage. He brought his knees up, giving Tanis further access to his body and moaned into the bruising kiss his lover gave him.
“I know I can’t prepare you as well as I’d like to but, please, let me make love to you Raven, please?” Tanis’s words came out low and raspy. It was a plea and he sounded so desperate, like burying himself inside Raven would save him from dying. Raven was a little scared at what it would be like without having the lubrication from the allive plant, but he was so wound up and turned on that he couldn’t refuse.
“Please.” It came out as a choked cry, but Tanis took him at his word and before Raven could tense up, Tanis’s fingers were replaced with the head of his thick, hard cock.
I know, I’m evil, but doesn’t that just make you want to read the book even more? The focus of the story in this book remains on Taryn and Thanos, as The Cellar is their story, but I had to have some Raven and Tanis as well as some Aiyan and Kaden time too. The story runs parallel to the events in Appearances, so if you haven’t read that book, you might want to start there. And now is the perfect time to catch up on my series, or gift them to someone you think would love this world I’ve created, while they are on sale for just $2.99 each (the novellas are just 99 cents everyday).
Thank you all for stopping by, go grab The Cellar and be sure to enter the giveaway below for some great goodies unique to the Opposites series. And thank you Paul for always supporting me and the books, you’re the best babe!
Synopsis:
It's time to learn the truth about what happened that day in The Cellar.
Taryn and Thanos are the formidable Ambassadors of House Orion. Taryn was born into power, bred from birth to lead the people of Greece along with his sister Theresa, Thanos was never a part of his mother's plan. The son of a fisherman was not a suitable match for the son of Greece as far as their mother was concerned, but Taryn always takes what he wants.
The Cellar is the story of how these two men met and fell in love, and what lengths Taryn went to, to ensure he kept his man. This novella also contains a more detailed accounting of what happened the night Raven and Tanis went for a walk on the beach, and the adult version of Mistletoe and Mayhem that was initially released as a free short through goodreads.
The Cellar is the second novella in the Opposites series, the series should be read in order.
** Warning, Opposites is an Adult Dystopian majorly M/M series that contains explicit sexual content and relationships between gay, straight and lesbian couples. However, The Cellar is strictly a M/M novella **
The Cellar-2nd novella in the Opposites Series! I recommend to read this series in order to full appreciate the characters and stories!
The beautiful Taryn was born into power and trained to lead his people of Greece with his sister Theresa. They are also the ambassadors of The House of Orion. Thanos was never part of the plan that Taryn's mother had for her son as she always felt that Thanos was not good enough for him. Taryn always gets what he wants and Thanos is exactly what he wants and nothing or no one will get in his way, not even his mother.
The Cellar is the beautiful and hot story of how Taryn and Thanos met and fell madly in love with each other and the degree to which Taryn went to for his love. Taryn and Theresa come up with a plan and if they are successful then Taryn and Thanos will be together forever. I loved that these guys were the strongest characters in the series and I instantly fell for them. The author gives us a great story of how Thanos the fisherman's son became the powerful man that Taryn needed and desired. So beautiful that this novella starts with Taryn and Thanos on the beach and the hot connection between these men before they even speak was OMG hot and the way Taryn chased Thanos was so sexy. I am so thrilled that TM Smith brought back Kaden and Aiyan to the story as it wouldn't be an Opposites book without these guys as I love them so. Taryn will never let Thanos go even though his mother goes to great steps to make sure their union doesn't happen but nothing will stop Taryn from being with his true love. We even get to see Raven and Tanis and their surprise answers some questions we had.
I have said it in every review for the Opposites series and I will say it again that this series is my ultimate favourite series as I can't get enough of these brilliant and amazing characters and their stories. Taryn and Thanos story will keep you completely riveted page after page and your heart pounding for more, trust me you won't be able to put this novella down. What I loved about these guys is that there is an amazing connection from the very start and no denying their passion, desire and love for each other. In my past reviews I have gone on about this genre that the author so brilliantly writes about. In this Dystopian era, it's illegal for opposite sex (M/F) to be together and as a gay man...I love it!!! For one it's about time someone had the sense to write a story like this one and two, it gives it to the straight community.....one for the gay community! So basically same sex couples/pairings is the norm in this fantastic world and the opposites have to hide their sexuality!
I couldn't recommend this novella, The Cellar by TM Smith enough and everyone must read this series as trust me you don't want to miss out on this amazing, hot, sexy and brilliantly written series.!!!!
A military brat born and raised at Ft. Benning Georgia; Smith is an avid reader, reviewer and writer. She now calls Texas home from her small town on the outskirts of the DFW Metroplex. Most days you can find her curled up with her kindle and a good book alongside a glass of something aged and red or a steaming cup of coffee!
At 42 years young, she's decided to enter the next phase of her life by adding the title of "author" to her list of accomplishments that includes single mom of three disturbingly outspoken and decidedly different kids, one of which is Autistic. Smith is and outspoken advocate for Autism and equal rights for the LGBTQ community.
Her Opposites series is based outside the normal parameters of social acceptability, examining a 'what if'... What If to be gay or lesbian were the norm? What if to be straight labeled you as an Opposite and made YOU the Outkast?
