Taryn smiled when he felt warm, strong arms wrap around him from behind. Thanos leaned into his body and Taryn relished feeling protected within those arms. He may be the aggressor in most situations, but Thanos was just as tall, built and strong as Taryn was. He just chose to stay behind the scenes and let Taryn do all the heavy lifting. It’s why their relationship worked, because Thanos allowed him to be the bastard he needed to be the majority of the time.

No regrets, no apologies and no arguments… Taryn was the one in charge. His sister’s relationship with Ariadne was a mirror image. While Ari was a few inches taller than Theresa, his sister wore the pants, so to speak, in that relationship. They had been breed from birth to be rulers over House Orion and their spouses chose specifically to compliment their heir of superiority.

Well, Theresa’s at least. Their mother’s had forbid his match with Thanos, that was until he and Theresa did what they had to do to ensure the match. Taryn chuckled at the memory of his mom’s face that night, after he had been caught fucking Thanos senseless in the cellar at the palace. He didn’t think he’d ever seen that shade of red on anyone’s face before, or after that night. But in the end their mother’s relented. Only to save face, Taryn knew that, but he got what he wanted regardless. His blue eyed beast of a lover, Thanos.

His laughter didn’t escape his husband’s notice, “What were you thinking just then?” Thanos asked.

Taryn turned in his arms so he was facing him, facing those blue eyes that could bring him to his knees, if Thanos only knew the full weight of the power he held over Taryn with those eyes. “Being on this ship and looking out at the clear blue water of our home, surrounded by sand, always makes me remember the first time I saw you.” He smiled before leaning in and placing a quick kiss on Thanos’s upturned lips.

A military brat born and raised at Ft. Benning Georgia; Smith is an avid reader, reviewer and writer. She now calls Texas home from her small town on the outskirts of the DFW Metroplex. Most days you can find her curled up with her kindle and a good book alongside a glass of something aged and red or a steaming cup of coffee!

Rick is coming to terms with his sexuality and life couldn't get more confusing. Mr. Devereaux is Rick's teacher in high school and he can't stop thinking of his older teacher and to make things more complicated his teacher is married to the schools principal. Rick is dealing with coming to terms with his sexuality and he wants desperately to be with an older man. Now Rick's life is going to send him into a tale spin as his father tells him that he received a job promotion and moving the family to London for one year. Rick tries to convince his father to let him stay behind with relatives in Australia while the family gets settled in London, but it's a no go so Rick has to move to London. So now he is dealing with the emotions of learning to be a gay teenager, leave his friends and his crush, Mr. Devereaux behind.

Now in London Rick sets his sights on Hugh, his fathers driver. I loved Nate his new high school friend and he would make an amazing boyfriend for Rick but he is only attracted to older men. Rick meets the older and sexy Jared at a bar and he could not avoid the temptation of being with this man and Jared falls equally hard for Rick. Things start to settle down for Rick as he is enjoying his new life in London and Jared. When a sudden illness forces Rick to leave England is when his life gets turned upside down again. Will he survive the illness, will he start things up with Mr. Devereaux? What will happen to Nate and Jared?

I enjoyed the writing of this author and how he makes you feel about life. I absolutely love the gay coming of age stories with characters growing with the self discovery of who they are and how to accept their sexuality and what it all means. It was so much fun reading about what most gay teenagers have to deal with in growing up and how quite different it than straight teenagers. This author developed the characters and story so brilliantly. I recommend this coming of age story...Temptation by Steve Genis to anyone who loves reading about love, acceptance, hot gay sex, drama and beautifully written characters!

I am an indie author from Melbourne, Australia. I never had a desire to be a writer, but after going through a major body transformation in late 2012 I decided to write an Autobiography about my struggles with bullying, self-esteem, and body image. After sharing my experiences with the world I set out on a journey and became a qualified Personal Trainer. After losing 35kgs I had a passion and thrive to help others achieve, it was then that I decided to write a book.
After writing my Autobiography One Step Further I had an idea for a story and set out on a difficult and daunting task to write my first novel Obsession which is part of the Obsession Series. I am currently in the process of writing the next 2 books in the trilogy Temptation (a prequel to Obsession) and the final installment Resignation.
In the very little spare time that I do have, when I am not writing, I work a regular Full Time job in retail. I'm also a Personal Trainer and motivational speaker, helping others reach their weight loss goals and defeat their personal and difficult struggles. I come from a European background and I am the oldest of three brothers.

The Half Of Us-Book 4 in the Family Series by Cardeno C!

Heart surgeon Jason Garcia always wanted a close knit family but that seems far off now that he ended his marriage. The one thing that he's enjoying as a single person is a lot of random sex, then he meets a shy man at a bar and they go home for a night of casual sex. Abe Green hasn't given up on finding the man of his dreams and a sexy guy comes on to him and Abe decides to have a night of passion and takes a break from looking for Mr. Right. Now the one-night of casual sex has turned into many nights of passion with the sexy stranger but Abe realizes that he has now fallen for him.

I loved how Jason, the 36 year old hot surgeon meets Abe, the 26 year old teacher as they keep coming back for more. What was suppose to be a casual night of hot sex turns into much more. I loved how Jason is still friends with his ex-wife, Angela as it makes for a more realistic look on a modern family and I loved his ex-wife. I thought how Abe and Jason's relationship grows slowly was so well written as they hopped into bed fast but not into their hearts as fast. Angela really convinces Jason to accept Abe into the family and the best advice ever as it benefits everyone.

I truly loved the dynamics of this family as it felt so realistic and organic. This is what today's family represents as it's no longer the stereotypical family. The author did such an amazing job creating these amazing and brilliant characters and their stories. The sex scenes were so hot yet beautiful and loved the connection that Abe and Jason shared and then to bring in Jason's family was just wonderful. The way the author developed the amazing character of Jason was great as he had to come to turns with a lot in his life and his heart was still open to having that family life. I highly recommend The Half Of US by Cardeno C to anyone who loves reading about the true meaning of love and family!

1-Who is C. Cardeno and what does the C stand for?
CC: My pen name is based on a place I lived as a child. As far as who I am ... I think I'm a fairly average person. I have a good day job but, like many others, I wish I could write full time. I play the lotto sometimes in the hope of making that wish come true and if they ever make the winner the person who gets the least numbers right, I might stand a chance. I like spending time with friends. Lots of my social time seems centered on food - trying a new restaurant, making a meal for friends, baking something to bring to someone's house. And I never seem to have enough time in a day.

2-What was it that made you want to write about gay characters and MM novels?
CC: I decided to start writing in this genre because I felt like so many movies and shows have gay characters who were killed or hurt or deeply miserable. After seeing this over and over again, I started feeling like it was a punishment, like these people weren't allowed to be happy and healthy and strong AND gay. And I’m talking about movies where the gay characters are the main characters, movies targeted toward a gay/welcoming audience. That vision of life doesn't match what I see in the world around me.
Yes, there are tragedies and sadness and family trouble. I know. Those things are real and true. But my life experience is that people as a whole are resilient and strong. I see people move past the hard times and make their own happy futures. I see people learn and grow and build lives and communities and families around them. I see people who use their experience and wisdom to make choices that allow them to live the kinds of lives they want on their terms and to be satisfied and happy with those lives. That’s my reality and I wanted to share it.

3-How do you come up with such interesting gay storylines and hot characters?
CC: I'm inspired by a lot of things - anecdotes I hear, characteristics of friends, news articles, songs, pictures, even customer service representatives (Emilio in Strong Enough was inspired by a really nice customer service representative who talked me off the edge when my computer fell apart. He was named, as you might guess, Emilio.).

4-Was it difficult researching for your amazing gay sex scenes as they're spot on?
CC: Thank you. And nope. ;)

5-Your fans love your characters so much, what do these characters mean to you?
CC: I live with the characters in my head before I can write them so even though they're not real, in some ways they're real to me. I wouldn't be able to spend the time I do to write their stories without liking them. And I genuinely do.

6-When did you first realize that you were a writer?
CC: What a great question. I'm not sure of the exact moment but I'll say that it was well after I published several books.

7-What genre of writing would you classify yourself with?
CC: I consider myself a romance writer generally. More specifically, I write erotic romance. If we want to narrow down further, I write contemporary and paranormal erotic romance. And if we're really going detailed, I write contemporary and paranormal erotic romance with gay main characters.

8-What's the most difficult element of being an author today?
CC: I've only been an author in today's world, but if I had to guess at a comparison of what's most difficult today as compared to writing in the past, I'd choose the same thing that I think is the most wonderful element of being an author today - the internet. Authors today have tons of access to readers, both in getting our books made and distributed to readers and in connecting and interacting with readers. I love all of that. But it can also be scary in a vulnerable way and bright-shiny-object distracting.

9-What advice would you give an author, just starting out, who wants to write gay fiction?
CC: I think the only advice I can give any author is to give it your all, feel good about the words you put on paper, and do your best to ignore the noise.

10-Where would you like to see your career in 10 years from now?
CC: I hope I'll still be writing in 10 years. And I hope the same people still enjoy my work enough to read it.
11-If a reader hasn't read any of your books yet, which one would you recommend?
CC: Hmmm. I think it really depends on what the reader is in the mood for. Each of my books can be read independently so a reader can pick the one whose blurb sounds most intriguing. Or start with my newest one - The Half of Us.

12-What is it that you believe draws a large amount of female readers to MM novels?
CC: Romance novels are predominantly read by women. MM novels are a subset of romance novels. I honestly think it's as simple as that.13-

13-What is something that you would like your readers to know about you?
CC: That I'm grateful for their emails and FB comments and tweets. I wouldn't do this if they weren't reading my work and I love doing this. So thank you.

14-What do you want to be remembered for most?
CC: If I had to choose one thing, I'd like to be remembered for making people feel good.

15-What do your readers mean to you and how interactive are you with them?
CC: My readers are the reason I write. They mean everything to me. And I try to interact with them as much as possible while still finding time to write. And go on coffee runs.

16-Do you have a Philosophy by which you live?
CC: I'm not sure if it's a philosophy, but I try to live my life in a way that will never cause me to look back and feel regret at my behavior.

17-What is your favourite curse word?
CC: They're all pretty good. Fuck seems like the most versatile one though, so let's fucking go with it.

18-What was the last book you read and your thoughts on it?
CC: I think the last book I read was one of Sean Michael's and it was a reread so my thoughts are - great book, Sean. Thank you.

19-If you could come back as any animal or mammal, what would it be and why?
CC: I'd come back as a human with super fast typing skills.

20-Lastly, any hints on your next book that you might be working on?
CC: My next release is a wolf shifter book called Blue Mountain. It'll be released November 21st. Here's the blurb:

Abe turned around and leaned against the peninsula. “We’ll eat dinner and then we can get in the bath and talk.”

“Talk?”

Abe threw back his head and laughed.

“What?”

“We suck at this,” he said. “Both of us.”

Jason arched his eyebrows and curled one side of his lips up. “Oh, we both suck plenty.”

“Cut it out.” Abe chuckled and lightly smacked Jason’s shoulder.

“Sorry.” Jason cleared his throat and tried to look serious. “What do we suck at?”

“Talking.”

He reared back. “We talk.”

“We do,” Abe agreed. “But not about everything we should.”

“Fine.” Jason sighed dramatically. “If you feed me and get naked and wet with me, I’m willing to suffer through a conversation.”

“You really are a giver,” Abe said sarcastically.

Jason arched his eyebrows, brought his fist to his mouth, and coughed.

Abe shook his head. “Is there anything you can’t turn into a sexual innuendo?”

“Is there anything you can say that isn’t a sexual innuendo?”

“Apparently not,” Abe conceded. He ran one finger down Jason’s chest, over his stomach, and across his groin. “My subconscious must see you and think sex, so everything gets tainted.”

“Aww, baby, you say the sweetest things,” Jason said as he stepped closer.

Abe rolled his eyes.

“You do,” Jason insisted, his voice full of humor.

Abe shook his head and snorted.

Jason was amazed at how much better he felt. Less than an hour earlier, he had wanted to put his hand through a wall; now he was calm and happy. He snaked his arm around Abe’s waist and brought their chests together, trapping Abe against the counter. “You do,” he whispered into Abe’s ear.

Trembling, Abe turned his face into Jason’s neck and said, “You really do it for me.”

“I know,” Jason said. Abe was too earnest to play games and too inexperienced to effectively hide his emotions. Loving Chase is the fifth and final installment of The Chase Series by J.J. Scotts! I recommend this series to be read in order to fully understand and appreciate the characters and their stories!

Liam has completely fallen in love with the man he was hired to impersonate. Liam believes that he understands Chase since finding out how he received his scars. Chase and Liam spend an emotional and OMG passionate night together. Chase keeps avoiding Liam as usual and doesn't understand why. Then out of the blue Chase invites Liam to have dinner with his parents. So now Liam thinks this will be how he finds out about the real Chase but soon realizes that he is meeting the true reasons for his pain.

We truly find out how dysfunctional the Preston family truly was and how it affected the Preston children but not as damaging as Chase. Liam never gave up on Chase and trust me he could have but in the final installment it all makes sense of why Chase was the way he was and Liam always saw something real in him. I was very pleased with how the series ended as they did have their final HEA! I am sad it's over as I have not loved and enjoyed a series more than The Chase Series. I can't describe enough of how well written the sex scene were as it had love, tenderness, passion and so intense. The author wrote it so well that I actually felt like I was there during the scene. Nobody can write beautiful and brilliant sex scenes like J.J. Scotts. It was so emotional to read as I have been following their story from the start and rooting them on all the way even with Chases issues of show affection.

I can't express enough of how much I loved the writing of J.J. Scotts. Her brilliant build up of these two men from the start of the series is just simply amazing. I loved the sub characters too as this author brought them all to life as I felt these characters well and I actually knew them. The sex scenes weren't like others in the way of being over the top at all but with such intense emotions between Chase and Liam. I am going to truly miss Chase and Liam! If I could give this novel and series a higher rating than 5/5 I so would be. I highly and mean highly recommend this final installment in The Chase Series-Loving Chase and everyone please read the entire series!!!

I loved how Kade and Holt rescued and took Mickey under their protective wing as they saw themselves in Mickey. Due to his temper, Mickey punches Toryn in the face but Kade and Holt convince him to take Mickey back to his place as the guy needs some rest but that's not exactly what happens when sparks ignite between them. Things turn sexual quite fast between these hotties right away and man can Piper Kay write hot gay sex scenes.

I love the beautiful writing of Piper and the characters she develops and creates are some of the hottest and most interesting I have read about. This novel is just as hot and brilliantly written as Invicta 1. I am always thrilled how much Piper gets the gay club scene as her research was spot on. I for one can't get enough of her beautiful stories and characters. I highly recommend Invicta: Sanctuary-Book 2 by Piper Kay and don't forget to pick up a copy of Invicta 1 as it's a must read.

I completely fell in love with these characters and how the author wrote about this industry, she wrote a very real and authentic account of how most guys turn to porn. I loved how Ryder and Mason had no one in their lives and they found each other in a world of sex and hurt. Even with their pain they found love! I truly cared deeply for these characters and I felt a huge connection with them. Nicola Haken did an amazing job with Taming Ryder that I recommend it to anyone who wants to read a beautifully written MM novel!!!

“So you’re the one who lives with Ry, huh?” Matt’s voice surprised me and I opened my eyes. I was kicking back on one of the beds at the back of the set with my hands folded behind my head.

“It’s only temporary,” I corrected. “I’m looking for my own place.” Matt sat down beside me on the bed, crossing his ankles and scanning the room. “What are you doing in here anyway?”

“Bored. Saw and Jake are still sorting through shit with the big man.”

“You know they’re filming right now?”

“Who?” he asked, looking puzzled. “Not that old guy?” he added, wrinkling his nose as he looked Mark up and down.

“That’s the photographer,” I explained, smiling in amusement. “They’re just taking a break. Ry needs to, um, regain focus.”

“What do you mea…oooooh. Captain Horn’s gone off duty, huh.”

Ryder once told me he prided himself on never having to take a fluff break, so this was yet more confirmation that he wasn’t himself.

“They’re back,” I said, nodding towards the other end of the room. “If you don’t wanna see it, now’s the time to escape.”

“It’s just fucking, man,” he shrugged. “Nothin’ else to do around here.”

“Then the second Ivan says ‘we’re on’ you gotta be real quiet.”

I suspected that was going to be quite a challenge for Matt, until I saw him watching Ry and Taylor get into position with what looked like curiosity in his eyes. He soon lost interest and started looking around the room, tapping his fingers against his legs as if he were playing the drums.

I caught myself watching them too. Frustrated, I tipped my head back and closed my eyes, only to have them fly back open when Matt shoved into my shoulder.

“Dude is he…” he stared across the room at the bed where Ryder and Taylor were filming, his face wrinkled up and cocked to one side. “Holy fuck he is! Four! Four fucking fingers!”

I followed Matt’s gaze and sure enough Taylor was about to stick a fourth finger into Ryder’s ass. I chuckled quietly, shaking my head at Matt’s reaction.

“I feel like I’ve just had acid thrown into my eyes,” he said, yet funnily enough didn’t take his eyes off the scene. “How is that even possible?”

“What do you mean?”

“It’s an ass! They’re like tiny holes. How the fuck is he getting all those fingers up there?”

“They’re surprisingly stretchy,” I said, trying to reign in my laughter so I didn’t interrupt the scene.

“Well I tried sticking two up a chicks ass once and she screamed the fucking place down. She seemed like my usual type too.”

Sara's writing is simply riveting and quite the page turner. I found myself asking, could this actually happen and the answer is yes. She has written such a compelling and realistic account of what could be. I highly recommend this novel, After The End by Sara York as I simply loved it and I know you will too!

Dean looked up at him and his heart melted. William cupped Dean’s face and leaned in, his forehead resting against Dean’s.

“Any of the stupid things I’ve ever done, any of the shit I’ve ever put you through, I’m sorry. I’ve always felt like I was never good enough for you.”

Dean blew out a breath. “What? You’re more than good enough.”

Dean searched through the cabinets, looking for gloves and a mask, but he found nothing. He’d have to go out without any real protection and take his chances. That scared him. What if someone touched him that was sick?

The windows were covered with thick curtains that were older than dirt. When he pushed them aside, dust rained down on him. He sneezed and blew bits of dust particles off his hands before rubbing a spot clean on the window, allowing him to peer out. The streets were empty. Not that many people would be out in this weather, but he was expecting to see some people out milling around.

If he raced out of his house right now, he might avoid the rush to the store.

Or had that already happened? He let the curtains close as he thought about his options. It would be better to leave now and head out. It sounded like the longer he waited the more people would be infected.

Dean went to his room and grabbed a pair of knit gloves and a scarf he’d been given last school year when the staff realized he didn’t have winter clothes. It wasn’t the same as a mask and plastic gloves, but it would have to do. He pulled on his hoodie and made his way to the front door, pausing to take a deep breath. There was no way to prepare for going out into the world when a plague was ravaging the people, but his options were limited.

He pulled open the door when a dark gray SUV pulled up in front of his house. It looked expensive. He froze, unsure if he should go back inside or stand his ground. The driver’s door popped open and William stepped out, coming around the front of the car.

“Oh God, you scared me. What are you doing here?” Dean called out.

“Have you come in contact with anyone else?” William asked.

He glanced around, staring up at the gray sky. “Why are you here?”

William let out a sob before he straightened, his lips curved down in a frown.

“They’re gone. It’s going to be bad. Please, come with me.”

He shook his head. “I don’t know.”

“Please. We have a fence surrounding the property. It will be safer. We can protect each other.”

Dean looked around. His parents hadn’t come home and they were probably dead. If they ended up being okay, they’d do something stupid to get him sick. He didn’t want to die.

He nodded quickly. “I need to grab some stuff. Stay with the car and keep the doors locked. I’m just going ro get a few clothes and some money.”

“I have lots of clothes,” William said, his voice higher than normal.

“You’re a little shorter than I am and you weigh more.”

“Fine, but move quickly, we don’t have much time.”

“Got it.”

Dean raced back inside his house and grabbed his school backpack, emptying the contents on this bed. If they survived and life returned to normal, he’d come back and get his books. He shoved the money William had given him to the bottom of the bag then grabbed some shirts out of his closet, shoving them in, not worrying about wrinkles. Next, he took a few pants off the hangers and pitched them in the bag. After grabbing his clothes, he went to the bathroom and packed his toothbrush, deodorant, and comb into the bag, looking around for anything else he needed.

There were so many things he could take, but he didn’t need any of them.

The horn honked outside and he heard William yelling. There wasn’t anything here for him. He ran to the front door and pulled it open, seeing two guys banging on the driver’s side window. Dean ran back into the house to his mom’s room and opened the nightstand beside her bed, searching for the handgun he knew she kept there. The horn honked more and he heard tires squeal. He hoped he wasn’t too late.

Dean grabbed the gun and ran out the door to watch William race down the street before swinging a wide U turn, running over the weed packed lawns in the process. The car faced him and slowed to a stop. The two guys who’d tried to break into the car were running toward William. Dean lifted the pistol and fired. The guys froze and looked over their shoulder. He’d never aimed a gun at anyone, and he wasn’t a good shot at a target. He didn’t think he could actually shoot at these people if they rushed him, but they didn’t know that. William revved the engine on his car and the guys turned back to him.

“Leave us alone,” Dean called out just before William stepped on the accelerator, the tires squealing. The two guys dove out of the way as William swerved close, barely missing them before driving up onto the grass in front of Dean’s house.

Dean raced around the front of the car, dropping the gun on the ground as he ran. He almost went back for it but the guys were running at them. Dean heard the locks click just before he reached the door to open it. Dean slammed the car door and hit the lock button. William took off, the SUV bouncing as they dropped off the curb.

“Fuck, that was scary,” William said.

“Are you okay?”

I was overjoyed that Kindle brought back Colt and Jace as sub-characters as they were truly my all time favourite boys and it was so nice reading about them again....so thanks for that Kindle! There is a serial killer on the loose and targeting gay men that Mitch is heading and consuming his every waking thought. Mitch is having a hard time getting the department to focus on this case and to put some manpower behind it. I loved how Cody catches Mitch's eye but doesn't give in so easily. The sex scenes between these hot men was so unbelievably on fire that I was in complete frenzy of these beautiful scenes. Cody tried to ruin their connection as he felt how could anyone as beautiful and incredibly hot want him but Mitch proves over and over at exactly how much he wants him and that was an aweeee moment!

I was so thrilled to write this review for Kindles latest M/M masterpiece of her excellent work as this is the most amazing series (Nice Guys) that I have ever come by. I absolutely love the writing skills of Kindle Alexander and her details are so spot on. Her sex scenes are so well done that you would think they were written by a gay man as it's so accurately done in such an authentic way....props to your research Kindle! The characters that she creates are some of the best I have ever come by. Kindle writes them so brilliantly that she brings these men to life for her readers and they permanently stay with you as the reader won't be able to stop thinking of them. The chemistry between Mitch and Cody is hot and so off the hot meter chart. You won't be able to stop thinking about these men for along time to come as they get into your soul. Kindle takes you on a journey of unconditional love, romance, suspense, drama, intrigue, hot gay sex, the most beautiful men and the greatest love story ever told. I couldn't recommend Full Disclosure by Kindle Alexander enough and if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! Everyone and I mean everyone needs to read this series...Nice Guys!!!

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group.
