I threw open the door to my room, tossed my bag through the open doorway, closed the door, and briskly walked down the hallway. The walk down the hall took both milliseconds and hours, my nerves jangling with every step, and my stomach flipping with excitement.

I could feel my heart beating through my chest as I stood in front of Chase’s door.

Don’t hesitate. Tell the truth and be understanding. I took a deep breath and knocked loudly, my hands shaking slightly with apprehension. My heart was already racing, and I could hear shuffling behind the door, but nothing else. There was more than a good chance that Chase was deep in his work, but I really couldn’t wait any longer.

“Chase?” I called, knocking again, a little harder this time. “It’s Liam.”

The silence was deafening. There wasn’t even the sound of shuffling.

“Chase?” I called louder as I rapped on the door. He had to have heard me at that point.

The continued silence was making me nervous as hell. Was he really too busy to see me? Was he waiting for me to go away? If he was working, I would’ve been able to hear at least something through the door. The quiet was strange and eerie.

Screw it. It was now or never. I put out my hand and turned the doorknob. I jolted slightly, both surprised and glad that the door wasn’t locked from the inside. I took a deep breath and quickly opened the door.

“Whoa!” I jumped back instinctively, alarmed at seeing Chase’s face less than a foot away from mine.

Rather than sitting at his desk working, he’d been standing right by the door. He recoiled slightly, likely shocked that I’d opened the door and yelled in surprise at seeing him.

Had he been waiting there?

That beautifully cruel, sarcastic mouth curved upwards. He was about to speak when I cut him off. I couldn’t wait.

“I love you.”

As the words left my mouth, I suddenly felt incredibly self-conscious. Why did I think it was such a good idea to spring it on him? What if he reacted badly? I was so set on doing this confession that I didn’t even hesitate. I didn’t even allow any buildup or anything. I just went and let the cat out of the bag.

I’d promised myself that I wasn’t going to handle this like my coming-out talk with my parents and already I’d started exactly the same way: blurting out the key line without even making an effort to candy coat it or sound more diplomatic. On the other hand, I’d also promised myself that I was going to be honest about my feelings…so maybe that balanced things out.

I studied Chase’s face, trying to get a feel for his reaction and his feelings. At first, he still had that little look of surprise, which was to be expected, but when he noticed me studying him, his features were quickly rearranged into a different look.

A look of…hurt? Confusion maybe?

Shit. I had to say something – do something. I took another deep breath. Now it felt like my heart had stopped altogether. Icy water ran through my veins and my knees were barely holding me up. I swallowed, trying to get the strength to speak, and then cleared my throat. I knew that I needed to be understanding, and I didn’t want to pressure Chase into giving a response when he wasn’t ready. I definitely wanted him to think about his feelings towards me.

I bit my tongue, not speaking – giving my words just a few more seconds to sink in before I broke the silence. Cold, shaking, agonizing seconds, but I had to wait it out. I wanted him to know I was serious. “I –” I started, but was quickly interrupted.

“You love me?” Chase cut in.

He looked…forlorn. I wasn’t sure what to make of the expression, but I wanted to answer him.

I took a step forward and raised my hands so that they caressed the sides of his face and firmly pulled his mouth to mine. Softly and gently I pressed my lips to his and he responded by letting his tongue flicker across the sensitive skin of my upper lip, then my lower.

Then, in one swift movement, Chase put his arms on my shoulders and pulled me into the room, slamming the door closed behind him. I leaned back against the wall, and he deepened the kiss, pressing himself against me.

The feeling of his body against mine, the citrus scent of him, and the sweet taste of his mouth, sent blood spiraling down to my groin. I was thankful for the wall to lean on because my legs alone wouldn’t have been able to hold me.

He groaned into my mouth, running his hands down my sides and sending goose bumps prickling over my skin. When he reached my hips he pulled them towards him so that I could feel the growing pressure of his erection pulsing against mine.

Now that I knew how I felt about Chase, my emotions made me about ready to explode right then, but I wanted this to be slow and beautiful, so I pushed him a little away from me. His eyes clouded, but then he nodded in understanding as my fingers began to unbutton his shirt. I dropped a kiss on his collarbone as the first button came undone, and then looked up into his eyes, seeing the dark passion glowing behind them as the second, third, fourth and fifth buttons gave way to my fingers and I could run my hands unimpeded over the smooth warmth of his chest.

His mouth curled at the corners, no longer looking dangerous or sarcastic; his lips were flushed with lust. His smile turned into a grin as he reached down and pulled my shirt up and over my head in one hungry movement.

“I can’t be patient around you,” he growled softly.

In AD 107, after a grueling campaign against Rome’s fierce enemy, the kingdom of Dacia, Gaius Fabius returns home in triumph. With the bloody battles over, the commander of the Lucky IV Legion now craves life’s simple pleasures: leisurely soaks in fragrant baths, over-flowing cups of wine, and a long holiday at his seaside villa to savor his pleasure slaves. On a whim, he purchases a spirited young Dacian captive and unwittingly sparks a fresh outbreak of the Dacian war; an intimate struggle between two sworn enemies with love and honor at stake.

Allerix survived the wars against Rome, but now he is a slave rather than a victor. Worse, the handsome general who led the destruction of his people now commands his body. When escape appears impossible, Alle struggles to find a way to preserve his dignity and exact vengeance upon the savage Romans. Revenge will be his, that is, if he doesn’t lose his heart to his lusty Roman master.

Dominus is a plot-packed erotic fantasy that transports readers back to ancient Rome during the reign of the Emperor Trajan. This is the first book in an alternate history series—a tumultuous journey filled with forbidden love, humor, sex, friendship, political intrigue, deception and murder.

Dominus by J.P Kenwood is a historical novel set in Ancient Rome during the reign of the Emperor Trajan!

Gaius Fabius returns home in triumph from the kingdom of Dacia in the year AD 107! The commander of The Lucky IV Legion, he now craves the simple pleasures of life. He purchases the very wild and young Dacian slave but not knowing by doing this he sparked an all out war. Allerix survives the war against Rome but is now a slave and not free as he would have thought. The beautiful and strong general who has destroyed his people, now owns him and controls his body. Allerix knows that an escape is not possible so he does what is needed to survive and seek revenge on the Romans. Revenge is what he desires most but what happens when he looses his heart and body to the Roman captor?

The novel opens at an archeological site in the modern day Rome with a huge mystery that has been revealed and will transport you back in time. I completely love this genre of the Roman days and add in gay sex with Romans and slaves and I am in heaven. I was instantly glued to every brilliant and beautifully written word in this great novel. What can I say about the lead, Gaius Fabius, first of all, what a cool name that is as quite a few Roman leaders occupied that sexy name and it so fits this character. I loved reading about how he handled himself and was the very hot master to his slaves. The way he had to conquer Allerix and that young spoiled kid did not make it easy on Gaius by any means but it was hot and steamy. I adored the sensuous relationship that these men shared as back then it was very normal for the masters to have sex with their slaves and no age limits by any means either. Gaius and Allerix are just getting started with their hot romance and I for one can't wait for the author to continue their beautiful story.

I simply was amazed at how much the author got correct according to the lifestyles of the Romans and through her writing, I felt I was living in this time and that represents a great book and talented author. JP Kenwood keeps this story moving at a great pace and leaves you wanting more and more of the two hot men and their story. I recommend this novel Dominus by J.P. Kenwood for anyone who loves reading about gay romance, historical characters and stories, murder, intrigue and high energy sexual connection with a twist of love and desire!!!

Gnaeus Decius’s estate on the Quirinal Hill, Rome

 “Ever seen anything as bloody tasteless as that?” Gaius tipped his chin at the extravagant structure before them as he poked Max in the side with his elbow.

They walked closer towards Gnaeus Decius’s garish auction pavilion and Max’s dark brown eyes widened. In front of the round building, a circle of naked cupids holding their tiny stone dicks pissed streams of pink-colored water into a basin beneath a large statue of Pan fucking a she-goat. From the roof, strings of bronze and silver breast-shaped shields twirled in the breeze and, up above, gilded roof tiles shimmered bright in the sunlight. Gossamer peacock blue curtains, suspended from gigantic erect phallus hooks, gently billowed between slender green and purple marble columns.

“It’s quite—well, colorful, sir.”

“Unfortunately, it seems nitwit Decius spared no expense on this monstrosity.”

A boisterous uproar of laughing and shouting erupted from behind the fluttering translucent curtains.

Clang!

That sound was the unmistakable clash of bronze cymbals. Another body had been sold to the highest bidder.

As they approached the main entrance, an armed guard with short grey hair saluted.

“Welcome, Commander Fabius. Your host will be most pleased that you’ve arrived. Surrender your weapons, if you would.”

“My weapons? This is a new development.”

“I’m afraid so, Commander.” The guard gulped. “After that regrettable incident at Lord Hostilius’s auction last month, Lord Decius feels the need to—well, to take precautions, sir.”

With a shrug, Gaius slipped his hand through the loose armhole of his tunic and drew out his dagger. He’d heard that some old fart had been stuck like a pig over an auction dispute. The bastard probably deserved it. Decius was prudent to ensure that sort of mayhem never happened at one of his exclusive events. Carefully, he handed over his ornate ivory-handle knife.

“Don’t misplace my property. I’ve carried this blade for many years. It has sentimental value. Right, Maximus?”

Max lowered his eyes and smiled sheepishly. “Yes it does, sir.”

“Thank you for your cooperation, Lord Commander. Please, this way.” The guard held back the indigo entrance curtain and motioned them inside.

Despite the early afternoon breezes that blew in through the sheer fabrics, the interior of the circular auction hall was oppressively humid. As Max pulled at the collar of his tunic, Gaius scanned the crowd of aristocrats from their discreet spot just inside the entrance. They weren’t alone for long.

“Gaius Fabius! Welcome to my humble hovel, Lord Commander!”

“Greetings, Gnaeus Decius.”

“The esteemed members of our Lord Emperor’s court are most welcome at my private events.” Decius wiped away the sweat drops soaking his fleshy upper lip. “Today’s merchandise is particularly choice, if I may say so. I do hope, my Lord, that you won’t go home empty handed.”

Gaius looked over the portly man’s shoulder. “Excuse me, Decius, but I’m seeking out an associate of mine.”

“Of course, but do enjoy yourself, Lord Fabius. And please give my most warm greetings to our Lord Emperor.” Decius bowed and wandered off, no doubt to ingratiate himself with another visitor.

Gaius grumbled out of the side of his mouth to Max. “That man is a fucking pompous bore, but his auctions are usually worth the effort.”

The stifling space was filled to capacity with aristocrats and their servants of all shapes and sizes. All of the men appeared relaxed and jovial. The anticipation of taking home fresh flesh to fuck, enhanced by Decius’s generous supply of fine Falerian wine, had put all the guests in jolly good moods.

“Over there!” As he pointed, Gaius’s pressed lips melted into a sly smile and his eyes crinkled with delight. He’d found who he was looking for. Despite the crowds, it wasn’t too difficult to spot the distinctive profile of Lucius Petronius Celsus. Towering over a group of men, the tall brunet appeared to be entertaining his companions with one of his absurd vulgar jokes. Gaius had heard every one of them, many times.

“Come, Maximus!” Gaius forged a path through the exuberant mob. Although they were frequently slowed by a pat on the shoulder from this or that fellow, he ensured that they never lost momentum. He’d seen Lucius Petronius just a few days earlier, but he’d barely had an opportunity to touch his handsome lover, let alone fuck him.

From the elevated auction stage, an olive-skinned auctioneer hollered above the clamor. Aristocrats paused their conversations and turned to assess a naked blond boy standing on the platform, his eyes downcast and his thin arms folded neatly behind his back. A wooden placard touting his attributes dangled from a cord tied around his slender neck. Gaius stopped to scrutinize the scrawny thing.

Max asked, “Should I get more information about that one, sir?”

“Don’t be daft. It’s too skinny and too young. And besides, I already own a blond faun. Nicomedes might be an impetuous imp, but he’s my blond imp.” Gaius scoffed with a smirk. “Lord Petronius has something particular in mind for my consideration. Not that I expect to purchase a damn thing here, but what’s the harm in humoring our dear solicitor?”

“Gaius! Over here!” Lucius Petronius frantically waved his burly arm like an overeager schoolboy. Sharply dressed in his formal senatorial garb, his muscular frame cut a path through the pack. His light blue eyes sparkled with desire as he hurried forward and wrapped his long arms around Gaius’s torso, hugging him a bit longer than was wise in such a public venue. Clearly Luc had imbibed a tad too much of Decius’s wine.

“Let go of me, you colossal twit.” Gaius chuckled, as he pushed Lucius back a step. They had to be careful. People were watching.

“You made it here in time.” Luc cooed.

“I promised you that I’d be here, and here I am.”

Lucius curled his large hand around his lover’s solid bicep, and pulled Gaius towards a spot to the left of the auction dais. “I arrived early to claim a prime couch for us. We’ll have a clear view of the sale, and a sneak peek at the naked lovelies waiting by the side of the stage. You are here just in bloody time!” He slurred, far too loud.

“In time for what?”

“For the scrumptious delight that I mentioned; you haven’t forgotten, have you? You’ll be interested. I’m quite sure of it.”

Gaius leaned in and whispered seductively, “I’m interested in fucking you, Luc.”

“You’re coming to dinner tonight,” Lucius answered brusquely. Then he moved closer and spoke very softly into Gaius’s right ear. “Listen, gorgeous. Aurelia and Petronia will leave today to visit Aurelia’s cousin. I swear that we’ll have the house to ourselves this time. I’ve told Euphronia to prepare something decadent, with ladles of creamy sauce that I intend to lick off of your—everything.” Luc stuck out the pink tip of his tongue and wiggled it. “Now lie down and let’s enjoy the festivities. It shouldn’t be long before the fetching thing is offered up.”

Both men stretched out along the adjacent cushions, face-to-face and raised on their elbows, as Decius’s scantily clad servants brought over drinks and tasty tidbits. Max stood behind the couch, ready to attend to his patron’s every whim.

The clang of the cymbals rang out to announce that the blond boy’s bum had a new home.

Scooting closer to each other, the lovers watched the stage being cleared, as the dealer’s assistants prepared the next item.

“So, Lord Petronius. Tell me more about this exceptional opportunity.”

“A dark-haired provincial delicacy. Or so I’m told. I ran into Decius on my way to the courts and he raved about this new acquisition for his auction. He drooled, actually, the disgusting pig.”

“Dark-haired? As dark as yours?”

“Darker. Pitch-black locks, Gaius. You don’t have one of those, do you? Decius, the dolt that he is, thought that I’d be interested. Shit, he even offered early purchase rights to me. Me, of all bloody people! The foolish prat doesn’t know his own greased paw from a courtesan’s stained lips.” Lucius collapsed into cackles. His strong, sculpted features still managed to look spectacularly handsome.

“Then it’s a girl?”

Luc slapped his friend’s shoulder. “Of course it’s a girl! You, my dear Gaius, have enough fuck boys for both of us. Well, that’s debatable, I suppose. Anyway, your exquisite bitch, Callidora, is getting long in the tooth. You need a fresh serving of twat, my dear.”

“So now you’re deciding where I’ll dine, and what I’ll fuck? How highly considerate of you.” Gaius clenched his jaw. Lucius Petronius could be such a bossy bastard—sexy, but pushy. Always the lawyer.

Sipping his wine, Lucius flashed a coy smile. As he opened his mouth to respond to Gaius’s quip, the auctioneer’s voice bellowed through the space.

“Gentlemen, may I direct your eyes to this nubile nymph!”

“Ah, that must be her! You have to confess that she’s fucking splendid, right?” Lucius crowed, and tossed back another gulp.

Peeling his eyes off his lover’s face, Gaius appraised the naked thing now on the auction block. A slender young girl of no more than fifteen, she sported shiny waves of black tresses that flowed down her back to her waist, and full breasts that were firm and pouty. Her skin was as creamy as milk and her features impossibly delicate. Deliberately, as if she’d been instructed, she lifted her wide blue eyes and smiled in the direction of their couch.

And that was when another creature standing off to the side of the auctioneer’s platform caught Gaius’s eye. Entranced, he only half-listened to Lucius drone on.

“Decius told me that she’s from hardy mountain stock.  Good bones, sound and quick-witted. Look at that lovely smile. You’ll enjoy her for years.”

Gaius stared at the stage, his moist lips parted with desire. Lucius smirked when he noticed Gaius’s cock stiffen and tent the folds of his tunic.

“Send Maximus down to the dealer’s table. Gather her details and demand a private inspection.” Luc urged.

Gaius gnawed on his bottom lip but said nothing.

“Gaius?”

Finally, he muttered, “I’ve never seen anything that magnificent.”

“Ha! I knew you’d be pleased. Max, go speak with the auctioneer’s assistants about her attributes and report back to us—the attributes that Lord Fabius can’t already see, that is.”

“Commander?” Max asked.

“Hmm?”

“Should I get more details, Commander?”

Gaius snapped out of his trance and turned. “What?”

“That slave girl, sir? Should I inquire with the dealer?”

“For fuck’s sake, no! Max, come closer.” Max leaned down within range of his former master’s intoxicating lusty voice.

“Do you see that ebony-haired Adonis standing just off the stage?”

Max squinted, while Lucius furrowed his brow as he studied the silhouettes that stood in the dimly lit corridor on the side of the auction dais.

“The, um—the bearded one, sir?”  Max responded, scratching his head.

“Yes, that one.” Gaius leaned forward and pointed. “Shit, look at it. What an exotic specimen. Not some damn run-of-the-mill Greek whore, that’s for sure. Go learn everything you can about it, Maximus. Quickly!”

As Max trotted off towards the stage, squirming his way through the crowd, Lucius began laughing, tears welling up in his eyes.

“You are joking, right?”

“Why?” Gaius snapped.

“A bloody bearded barbarian? Oh, Gaius—sometimes you are so predictable. I should have known, love.”

“He’s stunning, Luc. Look at those long, sinewy limbs and that exquisite voluptuous bum. It’s hard to say for sure from this distance, but his dark hair looks excessively coiffed, don’t you think? These crass dealers so often err on the fussy side in terms of presentation. But no matter, that can be easily fixed.”

Lucius rolled his eyes. “It’s drugged, Gaius. Look at the way it’s standing, bobbing and swaying back and forth. There’s no way to know its true nature when it’s stupefied on whatever concoction they forced down its throat.”

“That’ll wear off.”

“Yes, it will. And when it does, you, my friend, will have a wild savage on your hands.”

Gaius smiled, glancing sideways at his companion. “This one will require a firm hand.”

“I hadn’t realized you were looking for a project, darling.” Lucius groaned.

“It must be the will of the gods.”

“Now you’re a philosopher as well? Horseshit! Do not bring the gods into this. It’s the will of your insatiable cock, darling. A powerful force of the cosmos in its own right.”

Max reappeared, panting.

“What’s the report?” Gaius asked.

“It’s a Dacian, sir, recently captured by scouts during a reconnaissance mission along the mountain border.” Max stopped to catch his breath. “No known diseases or physical faults. The beast is heavily drugged, Commander.”

“Yes, I can see that. Anything else, Maximus?”

“They claim — well, the dealer alleges that it’s a virgin, sir.”

Smirking, Gaius turned to his companion.

“Inflating the value, you think?”

“Virginity always does cost extra coin.” Luc winked.

“Does he have an estimated price, Maximus?”

“Six—six hundred silver pieces, Commander.”

“Six fucking hundred denarii for an untrained Dacian? That’s bloody robbery.” Gaius turned to his friend. “Perhaps, as my loyal and devoted associate, you could negotiate a cheaper price for me, Lucius Petronius?”

“You really want that shaggy barbarian, don’t you?”

Turning to look towards the stage, Gaius leered at the alluring Dacian captive listing back and forth on his feet in the shadows.

“He’s already mine.”

Ben Donovan is working on his plan for Jacqueline and her son Jesse and if things weren't bad enough a stranger shows up to ruin things. Everything will come crashing down at the New Years Eve party!

This is a great installment in the Boystown series and Jake has done it again. I really loved the addition of twins Marco and Gino and all their beauty and hotness. Their unbelievably hot introduction and their close connection was very powerful and so well written. It was also fun reading about Gino and Justin and I really hope there is more of them to come. One might think that with so many characters that it would be hard to keep up with them all but this is so not the case here as the author kept them quite organized. I love how much their lives intertwined and the drama these characters face is very high energy and riveting that I couldn't get enough of it. The sex, OMG the sex was so hot hot hot and so much of that I was in a constant state of fluster and enjoying every minute of it.

I loved all the new characters that were added such as Tyler, David, Cole and how Jake connected them so well with the current characters was just so brilliantly well written. There was a character for everyone to lust after or love which I did over and over. What was so completely brilliant was how Jake made us have such different feelings for the characters in Season One and that is not an easy task but with his amazing writing, it worked out so well. I just adored how Jake continued with the format of the book by using episodes in place of chapters and starting this book with episode 11 as it made for a more fun read. I so highly recommend this book, Boystown Season Two by Jake Biondi to everyone and make sure you read it as you don't want to miss out on a masterpiece of work!!!

BOYSTOWN Season Two Excerpt (from Episode 15)

          The Napa Valley is a place with a rich history.  It’s where Antonio Mancini and Carlo Ciancio grew up as childhood friends with dreams of building an empire together.   While their friendship didn’t last as long as they hoped, their dreams did.   Fierce competitors in both their personal and professional lives, each built his own empire and, as heads of two powerful companies, Antonio and Carlo had dedicated themselves to destroying each other.

            Both men were widowers, losing their wives early in their marriages, but their family similarities ended there.  Antonio Mancini had alienated his two sons Derek and Emmett long ago; so he relied solely on his son Justin to execute his war against Carlo.  On the contrary, Carlo Ciancio kept his twin sons close to him.  Gino and Marco had grown in Carlo’s image, as he had intended.  Bright and handsome -- with chiseled bodies, dark features and thick, wavy hair – the twins were the center of Napa’s social scene and its most eligible bachelors.

            Gino and Marco were raised immersed in Carlo’s business, which began as a small winery that Carlo and Antonio started together long before any of their children were born.  When their friendship soured, they split the company and each man dedicated himself to building a bigger empire with which to crush the other.  When their sons were born, Antonio and Carlo raised them with the competitive nature of their fathers.   But Emmett and Derek Mancini eventually washed their hands of their father’s company, the competition, and the chaos, opting to make it on their own instead.

            Every Christmas Day, the Ciancios held their annual Christmas party -- and this year’s Christmas was no different.  It was an all-day affair that attracted friends, family, colleagues, and clients from all over California and beyond.  Napa Valley considered it to be the social event of the season and it certainly lived up to its reputation.

            But with Christmas behind him, Carlo went into the office in San Francisco first thing in the morning.  When his morning meetings finished, Carlo’s chauffeur picked him up from the office to drive him home for lunch.   Sitting in the back of his limousine, Carlo attempted to call his son Marco, but no one answered the call.

            As Marco’s cell phone flashed on the night stand next to his bed, both Marco and Gino focused on Bella, a beautiful girl who was a member of their household staff.  She stood naked between the twins, her gorgeous body being inspected by both Marco and Gino, whose shirts she had already removed to reveal their muscled torsos.

            Standing in front of Bella, Marco kissed her deeply, his tongue far down her throat.  Her large breasts pressed up against his firm chest, while she reached behind her to take off Gino’s belt.  Gino kissed and caressed the back of Bella’s neck and shoulders as his hands reached around her to massage her tits.  He let her open his pants and, when they fell to the ground, he stepped out of them revealing his erect cock.

            Bella then began opening Marco’s pants; Marco stepped back from kissing her for just a moment to watch his pants slide down his legs.  He stepped out of them and wrapped his arms around Bella, pulling her tight to him.  His hands massaged her back as he kissed her jaw line, neck, and shoulders.  Gino pressed his hard cock in between Bella’s ass cheeks.  Then he placed his hands on Marco’s arms and ran them up to his brother’s shoulders.  With Bella tight between them, the twins continued to caress Bella and each other.

            Bella placed one hand on each of the twins’ chests and ran them down to their crotches as she got on her knees in front of them.  Wrapping her right hand around Gino’s ass and her left around Marco’s, Bella pulled the men toward her and then took both of their throbbing cocks into her mouth.  The men threw their heads back as they felt her warm mouth around their hard cocks, which grew more erect with each stroke of her tongue.

            With his dick still in Bella’s mouth, Marco turned to Gino, running his hand up his brother’s hard chest.  He pinched each of Gino’s nipples, then grabbed his shoulder and pulled him closer.  Gino leaned toward Marco and soon their lips met.

            As Bella rose from the floor, Marco pushed her backwards onto the nearby bed.  He knelt down in front of her and got between her legs.  As he licked his way up her calves and thighs toward her vagina, Gino walked to the side of the bed and leaned in to kiss her.  He ran his fingers through her thick hair as Bella felt Marco kissing her vagina.  His tongue made its way deep into her wet pussy and she put her hand on the back of Marco’s head, pushing him down further between her legs.

            Gino positioned himself at the head of the bed, kneeling down and straddling Bella’s head so she could suck his cock more.  His balls ran across her lips and chin, and then she took his cock back into her mouth.  At the same time, Marco stood up and forced his hard, condom-covered dick deep inside of her.  Bella let out a moan and continued to suck Gino’s dick.

            Marco repositioned himself, standing more upright in order to get even deeper inside of Bella.  Each thrust of his powerful legs sent a shock throughout Bella’s body.  Marco leaned forward to kiss her stomach and then her breasts.  As Marco sucked Bella’s nipples, Gino continued to fuck her mouth, causing her to occasionally gag as his thick dick swelled inside her throat.  Bella squirmed and reached up to grab Gino’s legs from behind for support while Marco continued to pound her.

            Gino looked down at Marco and Marco looked up at his brother.  Pounding Bella deeply, Marco reached out and grabbed his brother’s shoulder.  Gino moaned as he felt Bella more rapidly suck his cock.  Bella’s hands explored Gino’s firm stomach and muscled chest while Marco’s balls slapped against her.

            Marco’s body trembled and even his brother knew that he was about to explode.  He quickly pulled his dick out of Bella, removed the condom, and shot all over her body; her stomach, her breasts, even her chin became covered in Marco’s thick batter.  At the sight of his brother’s cum, Gino pulled out of Bella’s mouth and pumped his load out all over her as well.  The brothers’ cum mixed on Bella’s breasts and stomach.

            Marco leaned forward and licked up some of the cum from Bella’s stomach as Gino did the same from her breasts.  She sat up, kissing both of them so she could taste their warm sperm as well.

            “Guess I’ll be cleaning the linens today.”  Bella joked and the men laughed.  She got out of the bed and stripped the sheets.

            Marco laughed as he stood up from the bed. “Sorry about that.”

            Gino slapped Bella gently on the ass.  “Hot as always.”

            “You boys are worth it,” Bella replied as she disappeared into the attached bathroom.

            “That was Father calling earlier, wasn’t it?”  Gino asked as Marco checked his cell phone.  “He’s probably coming home for lunch.”

            Marco smiled.  “Then we better get cleaned up and dressed.”

From the author of Bob the Book comes a funny, fast-paced, touching tale of love, laughter, family of choice and fabulousness! Wouldn't it be great if a character from a porn movie stepped right out of your TV, into your life? Well, be careful what you wish for. Because that's how Calvin and Peachy end up looking after Joey. Then Peachy decides to make Joey the center of in a social-climbing scheme that will take them all from Chelsea to Park Avenue to Fire Island and will entangle a rogues' gallery of eccentric Manhattanites, including portly, perspiring publicist Bunce van den Troell; theatrical investor Sir Desmond Norma; studly thespian Clive Tidwell-Smidgin; and evil lubricant king Fred Pflester and his mysterious nephew, Jeffrey. Tender, wise, witty and utterly deranged, Looking After Joey will make you wish you, too, had a porn character sitting at your kitchen table, pointing at the toast and asking, "What's this called again?"

David Pratt's latest novel, Looking After Joey will have you laughing out loud as I did and grab your attention from the very beginning. This is a funny, touching and realistic look into the real gay lifestyle and it was quite refreshing to read. My stomach is still in pain from all the laughing that I endured at the hands of this author. David's writing is so brilliantly done with a beautiful true literate style of writing that I for one couldn't get enough of.

Told through the eyes of Calvin, a New York businessman and who is reaching 40 in the worst place to reach that age....the gay community. He is trying very hard to be part of what his friend, Peachy calls gayristocracy. Yes Peachy is one of a kind and he is extremely close to Calvin and their loyalty and friendship will be a very important factor in the basis of this story.

Now enters Joey who is the ideal dream boy/hottie for Calvin and a pornstar with such remarkable beauty and Calvin can't stop obsessing about this guy. I won't give much away about Joey as it would spoil much of the story for the readers. This funny and heartfelt story is for anyone who wants to know what its like to be gay today or for every gay man to read. I loved how it poked fun at the endless need to be young and beautiful in the gay scene. Also what drives that anxiety in these gay men who are obsessed in reaching that almost impossible dream of being young and beautiful forever...aka fountain of youth that seem to really inflict the gay community. I give so much credit and respect to this author for his mature and beautiful message that beauty is only skin deep but it's the people around you that make you a truly beautiful person.

I can't go on enough about this authors writing and what a complete joy it was to read his smart and intelligent novel...Looking After Joey by David Pratt. I highly and I mean highly recommend this novel to anyone who loves reading about the true gay community, a funny and delightful story and what beauty actually means!!!!

Paul asked me to talk about as many things as possible related to my new novel, Looking After Joey. That’s not difficult, as the book deals with a lot. Like gay porn, lubricant, Liza Minnelli, mojitos, scat videos, Fire Island parties, veined cheeses, the Prado, underwear, Nasaline, Dawn Upshaw, calves, traffic lights, Kafka references (they’re for laughs), anti-ageing regimens, a fake jukebox musical, and, most important…

Love.

And just as important… Loyalty.

And the pleasure you experience watching someone you love grow. Kids can take inevitable steps in surprising ways or with breathtaking grace. We think, That’s my boy. Only he could have done that in that way.

As we keep growing, life knocks us down sometimes. I’m now thinking of Calvin, the hero of Looking After Joey. He has not been knocked down in a huge way. He’s just a bit worn down, like many of us. He has worn himself down.  He needs to get out of himself. And then his favorite porn character, Joey Rhodes, with whom he has spent many an evening of lonely, virtual passion, suddenly falls right out of the TV. Into his living room. And somehow Joey can’t go home again. So Calvin has no choice but to look after Joey. He must find it in himself to love Joey in a way he had not counted on.

You love someone and look after them in that way for a while, but before you know it, it’s time for them to move on. Now, you look after them in a new sense, the sense of watching them leave. When Joey makes his own life (with the help of his this-world boyfriend Doug, but no more spoilers), Calvin faces the question of what to do with himself. He helped Joey grow. Now he needs to grow himself. In the final chapter he makes a coffee date with Joey, for no other reason than because he misses him. But just before that coffee date happens, fate intervenes to show Calvin what his own next step might be.

Have I said enough? No?? Okay. A quick Q&A with myself…

Q: Joey sounds very touching. But it’s also funny, right?

A: Oh, yeah. It’s effing hilarious! My only real marketable skill is making fun of things. My characters are a bunch of gay men living in New York City, so it was like mocking fish in a barrel!

Q: Who’s the cute guy on the cover?

A: Nicholas Gorham, an NYC writer, actor and model, photographed by Eva Mueller. Nicholas usually models in outrageous makeup and wild clothes, but he’s a very elegant and beautiful man just as he is, so I’m glad we were able to showcase that. You can see more of him in the book video, here.

Q: What if Nicholas steps out of the video?

A: Nicholas is a gentleman. He will expected you to treat him as one.

Q: Did you have as much fun writing those crazy characters—Peachy Sniegowski, Bunce van den Troell and Sir Desmond Norma—as people have reading about them? Or was it a lot of nose-to-the-grindstone work?

A: Yes and yes.

Q: Has anyone responded to Joey in a way that surprised you?

A: A couple of people have not liked it. I find this unacceptable.

Q: Why do you hate ABBA?

A: I don’t hate ABBA! Peachy and Calvin take Joey to the theater. I thought a parody would be more fun than a real Broadway show. But many of the big, brand name Broadway shows have nothing to spoof. Chicago and Lion King are actually good. Phantom is humorless (Tim Rice got custody of the sense of humor), which makes it hard to parody. That left me with You-Know-What. By the way, have you seen the French and Saunders mock trailer for the movie version? It’s in two parts: here and here.

Q: Does a gentleman ever remove his underpants?

A: Of course. I refer you to the character of Doug, Joey’s boyfriend. He is every inch a gentleman, and a bit of a dork, which I think is very sexy. Doug loves unconditionally. I imagine the passion is just volcanic when those underpants come off. It’s not shown, because: a.) the book is from Calvin’s point of view; and b.) in spite of the premise, this is not erotica. But I think those two just go nuts on each other, no pun intended. I don’t think Doug removes his underpants. He has Joey rip them off. He does the same to Joey. When they run out of underpants, they just don’t wear them.

Q: Do you wear underwear?

A: I think it’s time for you to click the “buy” link, right?

Finally, thank you, Paul, for publishing this, and thank you everyone for reading it and for your support!

1-Who is Jennifer Wright?

Ah, now that’s a hard question, seeing as I don’t even really know, lol! I guess I’ll give the usual blurb. I was born in Arizona, but have spent the better part of my life in Wisconsin.  While I enjoy living close to my family, my heart longs to live in the South – or anywhere where the winters are warmer, and I hope to someday get there.  I love writing, and try to dedicate as much of my free time to it (ha! what free time?).  If I’m not typing away on my laptop, you’ll find me with my nose buried in a book, or with my loving fiancée debating on what movie to watch and the never ending back and forth decision of what we should have for dinner.  I love spending time with my family and fiancée, cuddling with my dog and two cats, and laughing as much as possible (cuz I like to think I'm funny :-D).

Some little tidbits about me are – I love horses, dogs and cats, I have a really big sweet-tooth, and I've been told I like to talk with my hands (insert hand gestures here).

2-What was it that made you want to write about gay characters and MM novels?

It was reading about it that turned me toward MM writing. I started off writing straight romance until I came across a book that piqued my interest of MM romance (which at the time I didn’t even know there were MM books) – it was all men, men, and more men from there on!

3-How do you come up with such interesting gay storylines such as in the Finding Home Series?

I couldn’t even tell you. My mind is CONSTANTLY coming up with storylines – I have no control over it and absolutely everything inspires new stories. I could grab a popsicle out of the fridge and suddenly have a whole novel swarm my head from it. I take that one object and create a specific scene involving it and then the whole story falls into place. I’ve got thousands of potential books floating around in my mind.

4-Was it difficult coming up with the story of Vampires and Paranormal?

No. I’ve always loved vampires—and all things paranormal and fantasy really—so it was no surprise when I thought up the Finding Home series.

5-Your fans love your characters so much, what do these characters mean to you?

They mean everything to me. They are my friends, inspiration, and

motivation. As more stories come along, it will always be my guys from my Finding Home series that’ll keep me going. :)

6-When did you first realize that you were a writer?

I guess I’d have to say July of 2010—that’s when I sat down and actually wrote a full manuscript. Throughout my childhood I wrote here and there, but never thought anything of it, I just had fun doing it. I stopped writing when I was a teen, but that summer of 2010 I sat down and started typing out one of the many stories flooding my mind and I’ve been doing it ever since. Now, no matter what day job I work, writing will always be my career.

7-What genre of writing would you classify yourself with?

Fantasy, because that’s the world I live in—or at least the way I imagine it. ;)

8-What's the most difficult element of being an author today?

In the beginning I would’ve said promoting, but now it’s hands-down writers block. I suffer from it big time and all the time!

9-What advice would you give an author, just starting out, who wants to write gay fiction?

Tons of authors say this and I’m with them 100% - NEVER GIVE UP! If writing is what you love, then write. While numerous things may get in your way—publishers turning down your manuscript, readers leaving down-right hateful reviews, (and worst) people you know and/or love never showing support—don’t let anything keep you from your passion!

10-Where would you like to see your career in 10 years from now?

I would love to be writing fulltime. For now I’ll just trudge along through my day job like so many other authors. :(

11-If a reader hasn't read any of your books yet, which one would you recommend?

Well, seeing as right now I only have three out, and they’re a part of a series, I would recommend the first book, Pavarus. :D

12-What kind of research do you undergo when writing for this Paranormal genre?

I HATE doing research. When a story pops into my head I just want to sit down and write. So luckily, the only research I had to do was to find out a

few details and locations of certain cities and/or states when my guys would visit Earth. Since my series takes place in another realm I had the pleasure of being able to make up whatever the hell I wanted, which turned out to be waaaaay harder than doing a little research (I still hate doing research though, lol!).

13-What is something that you would like your readers to know about you?

That I’m a slow writer. I’ve gotten so many emails and whatnot asking when my next book is coming out, and I feel bad when I have to tell them that I haven’t the slightest clue. I wish I could be one of those writers that can sit down and write every day, but that’s just not me. I’m happy if I write twice a week.

14-What do you want to be remembered for most?

I figure some people might say they’d wanted to be remembered for their career, success, family, etc. But I just want everyone to know that throughout all the ups and downs of being an author, I’ve been happy. I love what I do, and I love all of my wonderful readers and fans.

15-What do your readers mean to you and how interactive are you with them?

My readers mean everything to me—without them my books are just wraiths sitting on a shelf. I create the story, but it is my readers that bring them to life.

I wish I could say I’m all chatty-chatty with my readers, but the truth is I’m not very good at that kind of stuff. In person with my friends I can talk their ear off, but online… I have a blog and Facebook and whatnot—and I really do try to interact with it all as much as possible—but I’m just not the social type with stuff like that. My mind goes blank most of the time.

16-Do you have a Philosophy by which you live?

My morals and values run long and deep, but I truly try to live by the golden rule – Do unto others as you would want done unto you – it’s a classic, but it’s my favorite.

17-What is your favourite curse word?

Hands-down it would be fuck. I really am one of those people that could make a sailor blush. Of course, when I’m around family (well, some of them), kids, or at work, my loose vocabulary is on a leash, but in my own home I

almost always say fuck in at least one of every three sentences. It’s actually really hard for me to tame it back in my writing, because even in my head fuck is all over the please.

18-What was the last book you read and your thoughts on it?

I actually stepped over to the straight and young adult side and read P.C Cast’s House of Night series—well, I’m only on book three. But I love this series!

19-If you could come back as any animal or mammal, what would it be and why?

A house cat, because I am one laaaazy person. Granted, I have a vitamin deficiency that causes my lack of energy, but I still think I’d be lazy nonetheless. :)

20-Lastly, any hints on your next book that you might be working on?

I am slowly making my way through the fourth book in my Finding Home series. And all I’ll say about it is – yes, everyone, it’s Larken’s turn to find his HEA! Woohoo!

Keddrick is doing his best to fight off his feelings towards Eli but he is being tested every time he is around him. He does everything to make Eli happy and safe and soon his restraint will be too much for even Keddrick to handle and he will have to face his love and desire for Eli. Will their burning love be enough to have a HEA? Will Wayland destroy the years of desire these men have felt in secret for each other?

I loved the secondary characters such as Remus and Wesley and where the author took these characters as it added to the story so nicely and I loved reading about them. I am really hoping that the author writes a story about Zane and Larken as I feel their story is not finished and was so much fun read them. I am so hoping that one day Zane wakes up and realizes his true feelings for Larken. I loved that Jennifer didn't write the typical vampire paranormal book here and had a great and unique spin on this genre as it was so refreshing to read. The characters of Keddrick and Eli was a beautiful coupling of pure love and loyalty that these men had for each other.

I enjoyed the writing of this author and the way she was so detailed and how she brought the beautiful and unique world together was done so brilliantly and well written. I actually felt I was living in this world and completely captivated by this fast paced and riveting story. I have always loved this genre and now because of this series I love it even more. I couldn't recommend this novel MORVEA and the entire series...Finding Home by Jennifer Wright enough!!! Everyone needs to read it!!!!

Morvea excerpt:

Eli gasped when another sharp pain sliced through his head. Groaning, he clutched at his skull as bright lights blinded his vision.

And with a flash, images flooded his mind like an old, silent picture show.

Flash.

Eli standing in his office with three men.

Flash.

Rick, Larry and him tied up in an old, abandoned warehouse.

Flash.

Wayland standing before him, accusing him and Keddrick of trying to rule Earth. Wayland confessing his own plans to rule Earth once he and Keddrick were ‘out of his way’.

Flash.

Larry dead—shot in the head.

Flash.

Him and Rick escaping.

Flash.

Eli getting shot and Rick face down on the pavement—dead.

Flash.

Eli lifting his hand to ward off his enemy.

Flash.

The man hurtling backwards into the street by an unseen force—then the car slamming into his body.

Eli sucked in a deep breath when his vision had cleared and he tried his hardest not to cry out.

“Eli?” Keddrick sounded alarmed, his words loud in Eli’s ear.

This time he did cry out when Keddrick grabbed his arm. The pain from the vampire’s touch had Eli jumping out of his chair and stumbling backwards till his butt hit the back of the couch. When a few of the men stood, he yelled, “Stay away from me!” The thought of anyone touching him made his skin burn.

“Eli, what is wrong?”

Keddrick’s words were more forceful this time, but Eli ignored them as a new surge exploded through his body. Every cell inside him felt like it was coming to life, vibrating and roaring for release.

He barely heard Keddrick’s order for someone to get Isa. Fuck that! He didn’t want that witch anywhere near him. This was all her fault anyway. The side effect of whatever she’d given him was wreaking havoc on his body. A hum sounded in his ears, and everything around him soon faded out as the hum became piercing.

He clutched at his head again and screamed.

~~~~
The sound of Eli’s screams cut at Keddrick’s soul. He wanted to go to his mate, to comfort him, but Eli’s warning had him rooted in place. It was hard, though, when the tears started streaming down Eli’s face. He stepped forward, ready to pull Eli into his arms anyway, when Aliam burst into the room with Isa.
When Aliam dropped her before him, she covered her ears and yelled angrily, “What is the meaning of this?”
He didn’t bother apologising, just said, “I need more of that potion you gave to Eli last night.”
“No!” she said. Keddrick growled at her. “No, he said he didn’t want my help,” she said as she pointed to Eli.
Eli’s screams continued to fill the air.
“Damn it, woman! Can’t you see he’s in pain?” Keddrick closed the little distance that was between them. “Help him. Now!” The words were so forceful the walls seemed to vibrate.
Isa’s eyes widened and she took a step back. “I—”
She was cut off by Wesley’s gasp. When Keddrick turned to look at him, his jaw dropped. The maps and papers that’d been scattered across the table now floated in the air. Keddrick glanced around the room, taking in all the items that hovered over the surfaces they’d once sat on. He flinched when Eli’s screams suddenly became louder, forcing everyone to cover their ears. The furniture began to shake before it too started to rise up—up and up till Keddrick could see the bottom of the couch.
Keddrick looked at Eli. The man’s face was red, his eyes squeezed shut, his head thrown back as his fingers clenched in his hair.
Suddenly, Eli’s screams stopped, and everything in the room came crashing down around them.
Keddrick reached Eli just before he hit the floor. Gathering his mate into his arms, he rushed to lie Eli down on the couch, amazed it hadn’t broken.
He cupped Eli’s face in his hands. “Eli, baby, wake up.”
“Dear gods, Zane, you nearly scared me half to death.” He let out a deep breath and placed his hand over his chest, his heart thundering beneath his touch. “So, how did everything go with…?” He trailed off as Zane stormed over to him, the heat in his eyes making Bo sink down into the water a little.
“What are you doing?”
Bo felt so small as the vampire towered over him, but he wasn’t about to show the thin line of fear the man always seemed to make him feel. “What does it look like I’m doing? I’m bathing.”
Stepping closer, his hands fisted at his sides, Zane growled out, “That’s not what I mean and you know it.”
Bo glanced away. I can do this. I can be strong.
“Bo!”
Turning back, Bo gave Zane a look of innocence. “What?”
Zane’s lips briefly thinned out in a tight line. “Why are you still here?”
“You heard Augustus, he didn’t think it was a good idea to travel,” he replied, swishing the water around him as if nothing was wrong—as if he didn’t notice the vampire’s rising annoyance.
Suddenly Zane was at his side, kneeling on the floor next to the tub. “That’s bullshit! You risked your life earlier by climbing down the side of a castle—all so you could get away from here. Then you had every opportunity to go home earlier, but you didn’t. Why?”
Bo glanced away again. This wasn’t going at all the way he’d imagined. Yes, he had hoped to talk to Zane privately, but he’d never thought it’d be like this. Steeling his shoulders, he said, “Yes, I tried to escape, but that was when I had thought that I was still a prisoner. Keddrick made it clear that I am now a guest, so I felt it was best to take Augustus’ advice—for my own well-being.”
Zane’s eyes narrowed. “I don’t believe you. I saw the way you looked at me. Why did you look at me like that? What were you thinking?”
Gods, this is not at all how I imagined it going. “Can you please hand me a towel?”
A muscle flexed alongside the vampire’s jaw and he made no movement to do as Bo had asked.
Huffing, Bo got up and stepped out of the tub then retrieved a towel from a nearby shelf. He ignored the small growl that echoed in the room. All he had wanted was a chance to get to know Zane, to find out what this bond between them meant. He knew Zane had said he didn’t want Bo here, but he hadn’t expected the vampire to act this way at his staying for just one more evening.
“Damn it, Bo, answer me! Why are you still here?”
Bo spun around to face him. “Why do you care!” he shouted. “What does it matter if I’m here another night?”
“Because you confuse me!” Zane hollered back.
The vampire almost seemed surprised by what he’d said, but the look was gone too quickly for Bo to be sure.
Zane rubbed his hands over his face then let out a frustrated sigh. “My life was balanced before, and since you’ve been here you’ve done nothing but trip me up.” He glared down at Bo. “I’m doing things that I never would have done before. I’m saying things that I would have never said. And I can’t seem to stop it. It’s all because of you.”
A fire ignite inside Bo and he glared right back at him. “Well, I’m sorry that I messed with your precious structure here.” He stepped forward and
Zane took a step back, his eyes beginning to widen the closer Bo got to him. “Believe me, that was not my intention at all.” Bo kept advancing on Zane, and Zane kept stepping back until he bumped into the counter. “But don’t worry, I’ll be out of your hair first thing tomorrow evening, because trust me when I say that I don’t want to be here just as much as you don’t want me to be!”
He was now mere inches from Zane—practically standing on his tip-toes so he could at least get somewhat face to face with him. Anger raced through his veins as he waited, preparing himself for Zane to yell back at him.
Bo gasped when Zane’s hand was suddenly around the nape of his neck, pulling him closer, closing what little distance was between them. He stood there frozen in place as Zane kissed him, completely shocked by the vampire’s actions.
The kiss was bruising and over within moments. At first Bo stared up at Zane in disbelief and confusion, but that quickly melted away at the sight of the passion in the vampire’s eyes.
“Dear gods, what you do to me,” Zane growled, then kissed him again.
I was born in Arizona, but have spent the better part of my life in Wisconsin. While I enjoy living close to my family, my heart longs to live in the South – or anywhere where the winters are warmer, and I hope to someday get there. I love writing, and try to dedicate as much of my free time to it (ha! what free time?). If I’m not typing away on my laptop, you’ll find me with my nose buried in a book, or with my loving fiance debating on what movie to watch and the never ending back and forth decision of what we should have for dinner. I love spending time with my family and fiance, cuddling with my two cats and dog, and laughing as much as possible (cuz I like to think I'm funny :-D).
Some little tidbits about me are – I love horses, cats, and dogs, I have a really big sweet-tooth, and I've been told I like to talk with my hands (insert hand gestures here).
