This novel Boystown: Season One by Jake Biondi!

Chicago's Boystown is one of the most diverse places that caters to everyone. After graduation from college, Cole and Jesse have decided that Boystown will now be their new home. Now that they're settled in and ready to begin their lives in this new great city, they have found a great group of friends but not without drama and this groups welcomes them with open arms. The married couple Derek and Joyelle have been happily together for years but there's a dark secret that could quite possible break them up and shatter their lives. Emmett's boyfriend Keith could also be harbouring a dark secret that might destroy them and their relationship. Now onto Max and Logan and the drama that their facing and now Jesse and Cole find themselves smack right in the middle of it all and welcome to Boystown guys!!!!!

I loved reading about these amazing and brilliantly written characters that I couldn't get enough of them as I was living them also. Jesse and Cole graduating and finding their dream jobs in Boystown. Now we have Derek and Joyelle and their perfect marriage as he has a successful job and she is a nurse but a dark secret threatens their perfect life and will they survive it or will the secret be too damaging for their relationship. Max and Logan have been together for years but their relationship hits a serious bump in the road. One of them takes a wrong turn and isn't willing to get help from the other so can their relationship withstand this as it seems that only one of them is working on staying together.

Emmett and Keith are such an amazing couple together and now reaching that special place in their relationship. As Keith plans on something very special for his love Emmett but something or someone will be trying to end what they have together. There is so much going on with these characters that you will be in a  inconstant page turning frenzy and loving every minute of it. There are quite a few sub characters that add some great fun and drama to the story such as the mother Jacqueline and her much younger lover. Ben who has feelings for one of the guys in a relationship and man he adds some delicious drama. Nick, Todd and Justin and the fun they provide but someone might not literally survive all the drama. There's a very hot detective and man he will get your juices flowing and trust me on that one.

I completely enjoyed how this book was written in episodes and each one had a cliff-hanger just like watching a tv show so I found that so uniquely imaginative and so much more fun than the typical chapters. The beautiful way Jake told the story and his brilliant writing style of ease and fast paced made reading Boystown a complete thrill and I loved it from the very first line until the climative end. I so would love to go and find Boystown and meet these exciting characters as that is how you will feel about them. You won't be able to stop thinking about them for days to come. This is why I am thrilled that Season 2 will be dropping soon as everyone will be dying to read the next season. Jake Biondi did an amazing job on this novel and I count myself as a new fan of his work. So I highly recommend this novel Boystown to everyone who loves an amazing MM/GLBT novel, fun and wild characters, drama, forgiveness, betrayal and LOVE!!!!!

BOYSTOWN Season 1 - Episode 1 (excerpt)

The emergency room should have been busier, but it wasn’t.  After all, Saturday night at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood was usually quite a sight – all the usual unusuals.  But things were quiet as Joyelle Mancini checked her cell phone for the umteenth time.  She shoved the phone back into her scrubs pocket and headed back to the nurses’ station.  Her baggy, blue scrubs covered the form of her gorgeous body and only those who knew her outside of the workplace knew of her model-like physique.  She was certainly modest, but enjoyed the compliments she regularly received on a night out on the town.

“Nothing?” Joyelle’s coworker at the admittance desk asked.

            “Nope. I just checked again.”

“I’m sure his flight is just delayed a bit. You know O’Hare.  Don’t worry, sweetie.”  The coworker smiled and Joyelle continued on toward the nurses’ station.   Everyone knew that it was Joyelle’s fifth wedding anniversary and she was anxiously awaiting word from her husband that he was safely back in Chicago from his business trip in Boston.

She quickly passed the nurses’ station, patted her hand on the counter twice to get the attention of her colleague, mumbled “I’ll be right back,” and headed toward the ER doors to the outside.  As she approached the doors, they flung open before her, and she stepped outside into the cool autumn air.  The area that was usually loud with ambulance sirens was eerily quiet and Joyelle took a deep breath.  She loved Chicago in autumn: the crisp air, the bright gold and orange leaves of the trees, and the dramatic waves of Lake Michigan.  Winter would be here before she knew it and Joyelle had learned long ago to make the most of Chicago’s short fall seasons.

Joyelle first met Derek about seven years ago at their five-year college reunion.  She had never known him when they were both undergrads at the University of Michigan, but they were introduced by mutual friends at a dinner event during their reunion weekend.  For her, it was love at first sight.  He stood there in front of her with his boyish good looks and a great physique that she could recognize hidden beneath his perfectly fitted suit.  They talked all night over cocktails as if they had known each other for years.  He had played varsity baseball at Michigan, earned both his BBA and MBA there, and worked at a law firm based in Chicago with clients all over the country.  He was intrigued not only by Joyelle’s beauty, but her brains as well.  She was articulate, sophisticated, and driven.  As a nurse, she spoke with compassion and empathy about her patients and was just about the kindest girl Derek had ever met.

Over time, they learned more about each other and each other’s families.  They fell deeply in love and five years ago this very night, they were married at a lovely autumn ceremony at Chicago’s Botanic Gardens. It was the fairytale wedding they had both dreamed of and married life seemed to suit them well.  They carefully balanced their careers with their personal lives, enjoying friends and neighbors in their Lakeview neighborhood and beyond.  Joyelle hated that Derek’s job took him out of town so often, but she appreciated the income it produced so she kept her concerns to herself.

Joyelle glanced at her wedding ring as it sparkled in the autumn moonlight.  Derek and she had designed their own wedding rings, specially crafted with both yellow and white gold and a series of diamonds.  People always commented on them because they were so beautifully unique.

Joyelle then checked her phone one more time.  No texts or missed calls.  So she put her phone away, took one last breath of the night air, and returned back into the emergency room to complete her shift.  Optimistic, she still hoped that Derek and she could celebrate their anniversary at least a little bit once her shift ended and he landed back in Chicago safely.

Unlike Chicago, Boston was experiencing a severe storm that night – frequent lightning lit the Boston skyline -- but that wasn’t why Derek was late arriving back in Chicago.  Although rain pounded against the hotel window, music from an ipod next to the room’s bed drowned out that sound.  Lightning illuminated the otherwise dark bedroom, revealing the contours of Derek’s muscled body as he rolled back on top of Cole O’Brien.

Derek smiled looking into Cole’s eyes and shoved his tongue down Cole’s throat.  Clinging to Derek as if he would never let go, Cole dug his toes into the back of Derek’s calves and cupped Derek’s tight ass with his hands.  Derek’s tongue moved down Cole’s neck, then back up along his jaw line to his ear.  Cole’s moans urged Derek to continue, and he did.

In some ways, Cole’s body reminded Derek of what his used to be.  While Cole’s body was completely smooth except for a small tuft of blond hair that accented his penis, his muscled chest, arms and thighs were reminiscent of the hard body Derek had during his days playing baseball of Michigan.  Certainly, his body was still great, but there was a youthfulness to Cole’s that made it even more appealing.

Cole playfully nibbled on Derek’s chin and smiled.  Then he flipped over on top of Derek, sitting across his hips and looking down at Derek’s hairy chest.  He leaned forward and put his lips on Derek’s nipple, carefully biting the tip.  Derek’s twitched momentarily and then laughed, “Oh, no you don’t!”

Derek powerfully flipped back over on top of Cole and pinned him down, his arms over his head.  Cole watched the smile leave Derek’s face and anticipated what was about to happen.  Derek reached over to the nightstand to grab a condom and quickly pulled it on. Then Derek once again began to kiss Cole and pulled Cole’s legs over his shoulders.  As he took Cole’s toes into his mouth, Derek positioned his hard cock against Cole’s inviting hole.

“Yes,” Cole whispered as he grabbed Derek’s butt and began to pull Derek inside of him.  Derek thrust hard, and Cole’s face turned red, the tips of his blond hair stuck to the sweat forming on his forehead.   Cole’s toes curled as he felt Derek’s hard dick pumping into his hole.  The thrusts were long and penetrating, while Cole’s own hard dick was sandwiched between the men’s hard abs.  Cole loved the feel of Derek’s furry chest against his and ran his fingers up Derek’s back, digging them into his flesh each time Derek hit the spot deep inside of him.

Derek continued to kiss Cole as he pounded deeper and deeper, Cole wiping the sweat from Derek’s back.   Derek intended to once again show this boy who was in charge and Cole showed no signs of resisting.

“Oh fuck, I’m close,” Derek whispered as Cole smiled and tightened his ass around Derek.

“Stay inside me….please,” Cole begged, but Derek took orders from no one.  He continued to pump as his entire body began to tense up.  “Please,” Cole pleaded once again, but Derek swiftly pulled his cock from inside Cole, tore off the condom, and shot his load all over Cole’s smooth chest, letting out a large moan as he did so.   The load was thicker and larger than the previous ones, nearly hitting Cole’s neck.  As it settled on Cole’s chest, Cole’s whole body began to tremble.  Derek used some his own cum to stroke Cole’s incredibly hard cock.  “Oh God,” Cole moaned as his own load shot and mixed with Derek’s.  Derek collapsed onto Cole, kissing him and then rolling over onto his back next to his conquest.

Derek took several deep breaths as he looked up at the hotel room ceiling, the lightning from outside casting strange shadows across it.  “Fuck…”

“You rock,” Cole smiled as he planted a kiss on Derek’s chest.  He ran his fingers through the mixed cum on his chest, making a random design.

“Looks like you need a towel,” Derek smiled as he hopped out of bed and headed to the bathroom.  Cole enviously watched Derek’s ass as it disappeared behind the bathroom door.  Derek tossed Cole a towel and then closed the door completely.

Cole tasted some of the cum on his fingers, then wiped up the rest with his towel.  He sat up and flipped his legs over the side of the bed as he pulled on a pair of Notre Dame shorts and shoved his toes into some flip flops.  Then he stood up and walked to the window.  It was still raining.

“Oh fuck!” Derek yelled as he ran back into the bedroom.  “I’m gonna miss my flight.”  Cole turned from the window as Derek scanned the room for this pants and shirt.  He pulled on his pants and sat down to put on his socks.  Cole crawled across the bed and wrapped his arms around Derek’s back, kissing his neck.  Derek smiled and continued to put on his shoes.  Then Derek stood up and pulled on his shirt.  “Notre Dame? Really?” Derek quipped as he caught a glance of Cole’s shorts.

            “Yup.  So?”

“I went to Michigan,” Derek smiled.  “Notre Dame sucks.”  Cole just smiled back at Derek, no comment.  “What are you doing in Boston anyway?  You said you’re still in school.”

“I’m graduating early, in a few weeks.  Job interview here.”

“Oh cool.  Good luck with that,” Derek said as he pulled on his suit coat. “I gotta grab a cab.”

            “When’s your flight?”

“I think I missed it.  Fuck.”

“Before you go, can I get your number?”  Cole smiled, then bit his lip.

“I told you.  Can’t do that.”

“Aw come on,” Cole pleaded again.

“Look, these two days have been awesome.  Hot, even.  But I have to go back to my life.  And you do, too.”  Derek leaned in to kiss Cole quickly on the lips.  “Thanks, man.”  And with that comment, Derek was out the door and gone.

“Ya, thanks,” Cole mumbled to himself.  He walked over to the mirror on the wall and checked himself out.  Then he let out a sigh and returned to the window to contemplate the storm.  As he walked across the room, the lightning reflected off something shiny on the floor, half-buried in the carpet.  He knelt down to take a closer look and picked up what turned out to be a ring.  It was both gold and silver in color and had a series of small diamonds in it.  Cole turned toward the hotel room door, then looked back at the ring.  He examined it more closely and then slipped it on his finger; Derek hopped into a cab outside.

Cole O'Brien

Cole O’Brien is one of the book’s most interesting, complicated, and sexy characters. A senior graduating early from the University of Notre Dame, Cole flies to Boston to interview at the headquarters of a company that has offices in Chicago, where Cole ultimately wants to live. While in Boston, Cole hooks up with a very attractive man, slightly older than Cole, named Derek Mancini.

Cole immediately falls for Derek and something about Cole sticks with Derek as well. They spend the weekend together in Boston and, when rushing out of the hotel room to catch his flight home to Chicago on the day of his wedding anniversary, Derek leaves his wedding ring behind. Cole finds it and keeps it, hoping to one day be with Derek again. Will Cole and Derek end up together as Cole hopes? Or will Derek manage to keep his secret and his wife?  Keep on reading!

Jesse Morgan

Jesse is one of the book’s hottest and most complex characters. A senior graduating early from the University of Notre Dame, Jesse receives a job offer from Logan Pryce, a man Jesse immediately becomes attracted to.   The only problem is that Logan already has a partner.

Jesse accepts the job and, along with his college roommate Cole O’Brien, moves to Chicago.  Excited to begin their lives in Chicago, Jesse and Cole find an apartment in the heart of Chicago’s Boystown neighborhood and soon find themselves at the center of the novel’s action.

Picture
Logan Pryce

Logan is one of BOYSTOWN’s core characters.  Very handsome and professionally successful, Logan has low self-esteem and finds it difficult to love himself.

Logan and his boyfriend Max Taylor have been together for a very long time.  Of course, that doesn’t mean that they don’t have their problems.  Always feeling inferior to Max, Logan seeks confidence and self-esteem from liquor.  In spite of Max’s many attempts to help Logan address and deal with his abuse of alcohol, Logan continues to drink, causing a great strain on their relationship.  In the meantime, Max’s feelings for his long-time friend Emmett Mancini are beginning to grow.  Can Max and Logan survive their issues?  Or are they destined to fall apart?

Picture
Emmett Mancini

Emmett Mancini is one of BOYSTOWN’s heroes.  Kind, loving and generous, Emmett is the youngest of the three Mancini brothers.  He is the family’s voice of reason, compassion, and support.

Emmett and his boyfriend Keith Colgan have been together for about five years, almost as long as his other brother Derek and his wife Joyelle.  No one enjoys the Christmas season more than Emmett, and Keith thinks the holiday season is the perfect time of year to “pop the question” to Emmett.   A few of their friends are in on the exciting surprise, but Emmett is clueless about his boyfriend’s intentions.  And Emmett is clueless about something else as well…Keith’s past.  Will Emmett say “yes” to Keith’s proposal?  Will Keith’s past put an end to their happiness?  Keep turning the pages to find out!

Picture
Keith Colgan

Keith Colgan is one of BOYSTOWN’s central characters.  Handsome and sexy, Keith has a tendency to put his foot in his mouth and gives off a bit of “attitude” to those he doesn’t know well.

Keith and his boyfriend Emmett Mancini have been together for about five years and Keith is ready to take their relationship to the next level.  No one enjoys the Christmas season more than Emmett, and Keith thinks the holiday season is the perfect time of year to “pop the question” to Emmett.   A few of their friends are in on the exciting surprise, but Emmett is clueless about his Keith’s intentions.  And Emmett is clueless about something else as well…Keith’s past.  Will Emmett say “yes” to Keith’s proposal?  Will Keith’s past put an end to their happiness?  Keep reading to find out!

Picture
Justin Mancini

Justin is the oldest of the three Mancini brothers and one of the book’s darkest characters. Although he doesn’t appear in the book until Episode 9, Justin immediately figures into the book’s main storylines.

Picture
Ben Donovan

Ben is one of the novel’s most intriguing characters – but not necessarily in a good way.  A groundskeeper at the University of Notre Dame, Ben meets and falls in love with Jesse Morgan.  While Ben begins to plan for the future with Jesse, Jesse has no interest in a relationship with Ben and accepts a job in Chicago.

When Jesse refuses to reconsider his job offer and stay with Ben, Ben puts together an elaborate and sick plan for revenge.  Jesse has no idea what Ben has in store for him!

Dangerously Happy EXPLICIT excerpt: Dario and Aidan get naked!

Dario took a step or two forward, until we were close enough to touch, but he didn’t touch me. He stood still, gazing at me without a trace of embarrassment or awkwardness, but like he was waiting for something from me. “Then I’m going to kiss you.” He moved, brought his body, his face closer to mine. Raised one hand, brushed it briefly against my arm, my shoulder, my jaw. His breath smelled of toothpaste, and a sudden flood of tenderness rushed over me at the image of him brushing his teeth because I was coming over. In case we might kiss. And his lips parted slightly and I tried to relax my mouth, my jaw for a kiss as tender as the caresses he’d given me that first night. “If you want me to.” Not a kiss. His lips had parted for those words. “Do you want me to?”

I wanted it so badly. It was why I’d come. But it was so hard to say it. “Yes.”He leaned in a little closer, so close that I felt the heat of him up the length of my body, felt his breath warm on my lips, so close that when he shifted his weight his knee brushed against my leg, and as I felt my blood accelerate, pumping my panic from my chest into my legs and arms and hands until I was trembling, and I noticed his breathing was like mine—strange and constricted and too fast—he touched my wrist again, the way he’d touched it that first night, made me move my arm, my hand again as if it were me and not him directing that movement, and he pressed my palm over the warm, rigid bulge of his hard cock sheathed under the fabric of his jeans. “You’re sure you want me to kiss you?” I was almost in tears because I was sure I’d already used up all the generous patience possible, but it seemed better to say it sooner than later. “I’m not sure I’m ready.”Not the look of disappointment or irritation I was expecting. Just a hint of a grin. “Not ready for what?”“For sex.”“That isn’t what I asked you. I asked if you want me to kiss you. This isn’t a bait and switch.”“Yes. Yes, I want you to.”It seemed strange to me, but wonderful that he was trembling too. He slid one hand against my waist until it curved against the small of my back, warm, almost hovering he touch was so light, and he leaned in so that our chests barely pressed together, and his lips brushed against mine, not even really a kiss for those first seconds, my want expanding and submerging me so that when he finally did really kiss me, soft lips pressing against mine, his tongue seeking mine, I groaned and the faint warmth of his hand on the small of my back drew me closer, pressed me more firmly to him, his other hand curving around the base of my neck, his kiss gentle but desperate, ravenous. Never in my life have I felt so possessed, so completely taken in a kiss. When we stopped, we were both panting. He backed away to look at me—my face, the bulge sticking up under my slacks—and without realizing what I was doing I’d curved my hands behind his triceps, desperate not to let him slip away from me, not even far enough that I couldn’t feel his body’s heat against my belly and chest. “Come upstairs with me.” More like a directive than an invitation. Fear and arousal driving a violent surge of blood through my whole body with every thumping heartbeat, I followed him to the far corner of the loft and up the steep, precarious stairs that were hardly more than a ladder, a staircase usually hidden behind a teak screen he kept locked in place to bar the hordes from entering his sanctuary during the weekend events, so that I’d never seen the stairs, much less the sleeping area they led to. It was like we’d gone to a different house. As open and spare as the rest of the loft was, the upstairs area, which was suspended above maybe a quarter of the lower loft but which was larger than my entire apartment—was warm, cozy, intimate, mostly in golds with accents of deep brownish reds, all the wood teak, nothing ornate, all in gentle slopes and curves, rounded corners, avoiding even a single hard angle.Raising his hands to my hair and giving me a caress that felt both tender and possessive, demanding, Dario said, “I prefer to be with you up here. Downstairs, it’s for everyone. Up here, it’s just for us.”He kissed me again. It was like drowning, that kiss the medium in which my body, my soul was suspended, that kiss touching every cell of my skin, every hair follicle on my body, filling my mouth, my throat, my lungs until I couldn’t breathe, until my consciousness started to dim and blur in dizzy euphoria. Then his mouth was by my ear and in that intimate voice that made me feel like I was being touched, he said, “I want to undress you.”I wanted to let him. Just the words sent a thrill surging through me. But I was afraid, too. Not afraid he’d try to make me do something if I didn’t want it, but afraid that by taking my clothes off maybe I was making some implicit promise I might not be able to keep. But he knew that already, didn’t he? His hands slid up under my shirt and over my belly, slowly, incredibly lightly, his hands warm, his touch amplifying my arousal more than I’d imagined could be possible given how fucking turned on I was already, even before he brushed his fingertips over my nipples. He stood still, with that complete, intense focus of his fixed on me, and then he started, the whole time mostly watching my face, but now and then looking at the skin he was exposing—my stomach, my chest—watching his fingers working the buttons of my shirt, drawing it open, then drawing it off my shoulders, down my arms. He gazed into my eyes for a moment, then his hands and eyes moved over my naked torso. He kissed me again, then, tentative, incredibly gentle at first. Then with rising hunger. Palpable want. When the kiss ended, he looked at me again, like he was trying to read my mind.Nervous and turned on as hell, my heart hammering, I watched him sink to his knees, first gazing up at me, seeking my response, then feathering his lips over my abdomen, right along the waistline of my slacks, instantly pumping more blood and heat into my already throbbing cock. His warm, wet tongue sliding over my skin, little sucking, thrilling kisses across the tattoo that was only half visible above my belt. When he stopped, he looked at the blatant bulge of my erection jutting against my pants, then gazed up at me with a rousing, eager grin, and started working my belt open, unzipping my fly.God, it was really happening. I don’t think I’d ever been as nervous or as fucking turned on as I was as he slid my pants down off my hips, then knelt there caressing my hard cock through my boxer briefs with his gaze. He planted a lingering kiss just next to my cock, that gesture and his hot breath driving a fresh thrill through me. Then he slid my shorts down, just an inch or two. He looked up at me, making sure, then bared my cock. He sighed. For a minute he just knelt there looking at it, his rapt gaze pumping blood straight to my erection. When I was completely naked he stood and told me to get on the bed, and I did, heart hammering hard, erection absolutely throbbing. It embarrassed me to watch him undress, I don’t know why it was much harder than letting him undress me, being naked under that intense gaze of his. But he was so, so beautiful that even though I felt embarrassed I was absolutely devouring the sight of him, his long, perfectly proportioned torso, his broad shoulders and chest the ideal I’d worked hard to approximate by going to the gym for two hours four times a week, every week since college, but which had been given to him by genetics. I liked that he didn't look waxed bare like an underwear model. The way that sparse field of dark hair on his pecs narrowed into a line that ran down his abdomen until it was hidden beyond the waist of his pants drew my eyes down his body like a beacon. When he unzipped his jeans I looked up at his face because I was embarrassed to be sitting there staring, waiting to see it, and to be honest, a little scared to see it. Scared it would freak me out. Turn me off. Like he was reading my mind, Dario’s aroused grin faded a little and his gaze went watchful as he slid his pants and boxer briefs down. When he stood, I couldn’t help myself; like an involuntary response my eyes locked on his dick, hard, ruddy and veined and thick. I’d always been a little proud of my cock. But his was definitely bigger. Thicker. Big, flared crown. His balls. Everything groomed. Fuck. The startling shock of really seeing it went straight to my gut. Then to my cock. Fuck I wanted him. When he was naked he got on the bed with me, coming close without touching, but again, so close I felt the heat of him, now and then felt a little gust of his breath as he studied my expression, as he looked over my body without a trace of shyness about submitting me, and—another lingering, greedy gaze—my cock to his scrutiny, then finally laying his hand on my waist with what I’m almost sure was restraint because I almost couldn’t feel the weight of it but his hand was trembling. And then he kissed me again, a kiss that started shallow and gentle but got more and more hungry, greedy, and that lasted and lasted, as if there was nothing else for two naked people in bed together to do but kiss. When we finally emerged from that kiss he looked me over again, his gaze lingering now and then on some feature—my cock, the tattoo between my navel and my left hip, the scar on my shin from a cycling accident when I was in college. That caressing voice, “You’re lovely, Aidan. Unbearably lovely. I’m going to call you Rodin.”“Was Rodin lovely?” I teased, embarrassed. It felt so strange, him gazing at me that way, after all the times I'd caught women and guys staring at him. At his beauty. His big, dark eyes made even more stunning because he had incredibly long thick eyelashes. That movie star jawline. Those soft, full lips that had kissed me.“Not particularly. But he carved lovely figures, which is what you’ve done.”“Trying to look like you,” I confessed.I thought he’d laugh or come back with a clever comment, but he just gazed at me, his luminous happiness tinged with a little shadow of melancholy, I thought, then kissed me again, another kiss like a wave rising over and crashing down on me until I felt I was being swept away by the force of him. Little by little I felt that restraint he’d imposed on himself slipping away, the weight of his hand finally succumbing to gravity, daring at last to explore, then take possession of my body inch by inch, and then he lifted himself on top of me and I panicked a little. I thought I was going to tell him no, it’s too much. But his warmth and weight on me felt so good, the scent of him filling me each time I took a breath was making me even hungrier for him, and the way he was kissing me and touching me had me gasping, moaning, straining for every caress, and I was writhing under him, the way our bodies rubbed and slid against each other driving me crazy, worse than the cruelest torment of want from adolescent days when every encounter with my girlfriends stopped short of release, leaving me in agony until I could get home and jerk off.He ended the kiss, rose up on his knees. Towering over me, his hungry gaze framed above the sight of his hard cock drove a fresh spike of want and fear into me. He reached past me, and laid a bottle of lube on the blanket by my hip. Suddenly in a panic, my whole body tensed as if for battle I asked in a constricted voice that sounded almost angry, “What’s that for?”“I’m going to suck your cock until you beg me for mercy,” he said, no dent in his embracing, caressing voice. “And while I suck you, I’m going to finger your ass. Has anyone done that to you before?”“No.” Two women had tried, and I’d told them both to knock it off, but I didn’t say that.“It’s going to feel good.” He smiled. “No, that’s a lie. It’s going to feel fucking amazing. But you have to give it a chance.”I didn’t tell him no, even though the idea of it sounded frankly awful. Clinical, anatomical, invasive and a little sadistic. I don’t know what I thought we were going to do in bed together, except maybe stroke each other off and, eventually—I’d fantasized it and was almost sure I’d eventually want to—fuck each other, but being penetrated that way hadn’t occurred to me and suddenly my whole body was rigid, already trying to defend itself even before he’d moved a muscle. He sank down very slowly, not to go down on me, but to say softly by my ear, “Can you trust me?”I croaked out a weak little, “Yes,” as if a snake had wrapped itself around my throat and was constricting its coils, trying to choke the life from me.“It’s not a question for your brain, Aidan. It’s a question for your heart. You thought about it, and you said yes. But what do you feel? Can you trust me?”I tried to make myself forget the image of a latex-gloved hand probing my anal cavity, and return to that dim, warm room, to how I’d felt with him kissing and touching and looking at me. “Yes.”“I’ll always be very careful not to spoil that feeling.”“Okay,” I said.A brief brush of his soft warm lips over mine, and then he went down, looking up for a moment, noting that I was watching what he was doing, and with the same delicious, torturous patience he began to give me head. It shouldn’t have surprised me, but it did: it was the best head I’d ever had. So much so, it was like a new, strange experience, as if the women I’d been with had been performing some other act when they’d bobbed up and down with my cock in their mouths. At first he was barely moving, and apart from seeing him slip the crown of my cock between his lips, or at other moments seeing his tongue sliding over my flesh, I couldn’t even be sure exactly what he was doing. There was just the sensation of warmth, of wetness, of a muscular embrace engulfing, constricting, occasionally exerting a sucking pressure that sometimes was barely discernible, driving a fierce want into me, other times growing so intense I was almost anxious that it was about to hurt. But all through it, from the first minute, I wanted more. I wanted it so bad I was lifting my hips, seeking the depth of his mouth, begging him with a gesture, a caress, a little grunt of exquisite suffering to please, please, give me just a little more of that sensation that was a new pleasure I’d never imagined. I was so lost in that pleasure I wasn’t even aware of him doing it, reaching for the bottle, squeezing out a measure of lube, but the first touch, just a shy little feathering caress under my balls, slid warm and slippery over my skin, teasing, maybe hinting at tickling, at that tormenting thrill, then weightening into a real, coaxing caress. The taunting pleasure of his engulfing, sucking mouth, endlessly driving me to seek its own culmination, never relented, never stopped driving me to tremble, to flex and arch for his tongue, his throat even at the moment when one finger slid slowly along my cleft and began rubbing the sensitive little aperture, suddenly magnifying the pleasure of the blowjob with that new, fretful little sensation. With a little slurping noise he released my dick from his mouth. “Baby,” he said, and I felt my face burn at that little endearment, “are you always so silent? I’d love to hear you.”I realized my jaw was clenched tight, so tight that when I willed myself to relax it, it ached. I’d been holding my breath, too, taking a quick gulp of air only when I’d half suffocated myself. I made myself breathe, in and out, my lips parted, and little by little those breaths swelled up to soft moans as he started giving me head again, as he started wiggling that finger between my cheeks again, and then, as I felt his finger push past the tight little aperture and slide slowly up inside me I heard a warbly little whimper composed half of fear and half of pleasure. Then I was whining my want, my need, my bitter frustration because his mouth had all but stilled, my cock buried deep, so deep I wondered if he’d slowed because he was choking himself in an effort to impress me, and the sensation of what he was doing with that finger plunged into me to the hilt demanded all my attention as he moved it inside of me, little fluid movements, and I was grunting faintly, the sensation driving these little noises out of me without me knowing whether I’d name the feeling pleasure, but then he started working over my absolutely aching cock with his tongue and lips and driving me to the point of madness with that incredible sucking pressure while he kept fingering my ass, and suddenly I was whimpering, “Please, please,” and raking my fingers into his hair, probably clawing his scalp more than once, pushing myself between his lips in a way that was way more aggressive than I’d ever let myself be with a woman giving me head, and I swear, he never resisted, never once pulled away or pushed me back, he just kept going, maybe coming up to nurse the crown when I relented, then sinking down on me again, and then the finger he had up my ass slipped from inside of me, and I thought, “Thank God,” but even though he was sucking me with as much enthusiasm and skill as ever—if anything pulling me even closer to the edge but always backing off the second I teetered and almost fell—I realized I wanted it again, that penetration, that unfamiliar, fretful torment of those delicate nerves. And then he gave it to me, again the pressure of his finger, a teasing rubbing at first, then that honing in, that slow push and forced dilation of that tightly closed aperture, the gradual penetration, but this time the strain was much more, as if he were putting something much larger inside of me.“Wait,” I gasped, my voice strained with panic. Immediately (though slowly and gently) he withdrew whatever he’d been trying to push up my ass, and then took his mouth from my cock. He looked up at me with a calm patience which struck me almost like mockery of my panic, but just for a second. I knew he was being kind. Sweet. “I’m sorry,” I said, “whatever it is, it’s too much.”“Did I hurt you?”Honestly, it had been uncomfortable. And suddenly I’d gotten scared of what I was about to feel. “No. But it’s too much.”He grinned, and lifted his hand, his index and middle finger extended. I felt my face go hot again, and had a flash of terror that his fingers would be dirty from being up there, but they were just pink and shiny with lube. “Trust me, this isn’t too much.” God, he sounded aroused. To prove his point, still grinning, he put those two extended fingers next to his stiff, swollen cock, which in circumference was at least twice that of the two fingers. Twice the length, too. At least. I was suddenly a hundred percent sure I would never, never let him fuck me. There was no way. No way on earth.“I know you’re nervous. I know it’s new for you. But you were enjoying it, weren’t you?”“Before, with one finger, yes.”“Well, we can stick with that if you want. But if you’ll try to relax, and really trust me, I promise it won’t hurt. I promise,” he said, “that you won’t believe how hard you’re going to come. There’s nothing like it.”It wasn’t the promise of the mega orgasm. Mostly, it was how turned on he sounded and looked as he said it, how aroused he seemed to be by the idea of doing that to me, making me come with his lips gripping my cock and his fingers up inside of me that made me willing to try again, even though I was frankly skeptical that I’d be able to handle it. But I knew he’d stop again if I told him to, so I gave him a not very eager, “Alright. I’ll try.”This time he didn’t suck me while he did it. He knelt there, gazing down at me, his expression all gentle empathy, his face almost beatific as he put a fat blob of lube on his fingertips, then he bent over me, kissed me deeply, slowly, but only briefly, then he lifted his head a little and watched me as he started teasing my hole again, rubbing, then just pushing one fingertip in a little way, then rubbing again until the sensation started to make me squirm with a feeling that was somewhere between a thrilling irritation and pleasure. But then the pressure intensified and I felt my hole being stretched to the limit again, and I heard myself let out a startled, frightened little cry.“Am I hurting you?” he asked, his voice low and gentle.“I just, I don’t think I like it.”“We haven’t gotten to the part that feels best. Would you try something for me? Bear down a little. So you’re pushing against my fingers.”When I tried it, he smiled, and I felt his fingers sliding up inside of me. “Better, baby?” he purred.“Maybe.”He kissed me, tasting of my cock, while he pulled out a little, then pushed his fingers deeper into me, his tongue playing with mine, his fingers slowly sliding in and out, and then he rose up again to look at me, and however I was looking at that moment made him smile. “That’s so good,” he sighed, then sank down on my cock again, sucking me to the brink of orgasm in a matter of seconds while he started doing something with those fingers up inside of me, so that when he flexed them a violent jolt of incredible pleasure hit my whole pelvis like a mallet on a timpani. “Jesus,” I groaned. “Fuck.”I almost came, once, twice, Dario halting, withholding each time I got close, then, when I’d calmed, his mouth working my cock again with that mysterious pressure and suction and the delicious friction of his tongue teasing the most sensitive places while he probed or stroked or rubbed that magic spot with his fingertip buried deep inside me, driving these guttural grunts out of me in a way fucking and being sucked never had, but each time I started to gasp and flex and arch and raked my fingers into his hair, trying to coax him down, trying to thrust my cock into his throat. Then that luscious sucking pressure abated, though my cock was still jammed to the hilt in his mouth, and his fingers would slip free of the grip of my asshole, or would just recede a little, abandoning the magic pressure point that was making me thrash and making my limbs spastic and useless. He took me to the edge a third time, held me dangling there, then dragged me back.“God, please!” I begged him. I sounded like I was about to cry, and maybe I was.He took my cock from his mouth just long enough to say, “Like this?” Then he pushed his fingers into me to the hilt, fretting that spot inside of me with the flex and press of his fingertips while he worked over my cock until I was practically convulsing under him. And then it all stopped. “Tell me, Aidan.”“Yes, please, God. Just like that.”A little groan escaped his throat as he grinned, then wrapped his lips around my cock, just under the crown, nursing and lapping as he started fingering my hole again, hitting that sensitive target at my depth once, twice, driving a long, whining moan from me as I arched up, clutching his hair and trying desperately to push myself all the way back into his throat, whimpering and murmuring a desperate prayer, “Please, yes, please, please!” and those two fingers straining my body flexed and flexed and flexed as he escalated that unbearable, perfect constricting pressure around my throbbing cock and I collapsed or seized in a brutal spasm of decimating pleasure. I don’t know if I moaned or exclaimed, if I let go of his hair or forced him down on me. I just felt the pleasure grab and twist me again and again, wringing me out until I was empty. Empty and limp.I don’t remember the intervening seconds or minutes, but by the time I was halfway coherent again, we were lying next to each other and he had his arms around me. Practically cradling me, for a long time he just held me while I caught my breath and stopped trembling, his embrace close and warm and comforting. He only started kissing my hair, nuzzling into my neck, and now and then caressing my hip, tracing the tattoo there with a fingertip once I’d calmed. Every kiss, every little touch felt wonderful, made me want to be closer to him even though our bodies were all wrapped up in each other.I said, “You’re still hard.”That assured smile. An emphatic, playful, “Oh, yes.”“What should we do about that?” I was trying to be playful, too, but once again the fact that I felt nervous, that I hadn’t quite made up my mind about what I was and wasn’t ready to do tainted my voice.“We don’t need to do anything about it. It won’t break. And I’m loving this, just lying here with you, kissing and touching.”I should have touched him, caressed him as I said it, but I was too shy, despite what we’d just done. “No,” I tried joking again, “something’s got to be done about that.”“I’ll go take a shower.” “What? A cold shower?” I was horrorstruck. He’d already written me off as useless.“Something like that.” Still smiling placidly.“So, what? You’d rather go jerk off than fool around with me? Am I that bad?” In the face of his unflappable tranquility I immediately felt like a total drama queen. Pardon the expression.“That thought didn’t actually cross your mind, did it? I can’t tell if you’re joking.”“Why would you say that, then?”“Because I’m trying very, very hard not to push you too far too fast, and I don’t want my hard-on to guilt you into doing anything. Whatever we do together, I want everything to be because you’re into it. Absolutely, unbearably hard for it.”Just the way he said that had my cock perking up again. “Don’t imagine that I don’t want to reciprocate. I absolutely do. I’m just feeling . . .”“Not ready?” he finally asked.“Mostly I’m feeling hopelessly outmatched.”“I should hope so, since I’ve been assiduously mastering the art of making men come for almost ten years.” He kissed me, sweetly, almost tentatively at first, then deeply, with a swelling urgency. Then he stopped. “You talk like you’re afraid you’re a disappointment. So I want you to know, I haven’t enjoyed being with anyone so much in years.” He watched my face for a few seconds, then said, “Look at you. You don’t believe me.”“First my cock. Now you’re stroking my ego.”He laughed at my terrible joke. “I’m not a good liar. But I’m truly hopeless with white lies. So if your ego feels stroked, I’m telling you the truth.”“Then forget the shower, and tell me what you want. Then teach me how to do it well.”

Aidan has always wanted to play it safe in life. He chose the more secure job in computer software instead of following his dream of a career in music. He has always identified as a straight man but that is until he is seduced by author Dario. Now Aidan must decide to either keep playing it safe or take the chance on a passionate love  that has made him feel more alive than anything else in his life. Dario has had a traumatic thing that happened to him in his past and how will that affect both Aidan and Dario? Will Aidan take a chance on happiness or go back to his little secure world that has always kept him safe?

I completely felt the connection of these two characters right from the beginning of the novel. I found myself feeling for Aidan as he had so much to overcome with his sexuality and I was totally rooting for him. What he went through for Dario was simply amazing and showed how much he grew as a person. Dario the poor tortured soul as I thought it would be Aidan so tormented but in actuality it was Dario. He went through a very painful ordeal which has left him emotionally disconnected with his feelings, that is until Aidan enters his life.

I got all hot and bothered over the threesomes and were so well written and the author got it right on. I loved Xavier and how dominating he was and such a powerful character and I really hope the author creates a book on Xavier. I so enjoyed her writing and she was so fluid with her characters. I have to say that I am shocked at some of her low star ratings as this book was brilliantly written and so well researched. OMG those sex scenes alone deserved a 5 Star rating. I just love the characters of Aidan and Dario and how emotionally connected and their love was. I highly recommend this novel, Dangerously Happy by Varian Krylov for anyone who wants to read a brilliant piece of work about love, trust, angst, trauma, acceptance and HOT HOT HOT sex scenes between two gorgeous men!!!!

Since her girlhood in a sunny coastal town in California, Varian Krylov has nurtured a love of words and a curiosity about the deep, dark forces at work in human nature, especially sexuality, and how they often paradoxically twine with our tenderest impulses. Her stories tend to explore the sometimes fine line between what arouses, and what frightens, what we’re driven to, and what we’re ashamed of.

As witty and seductive as I am sarcastic and self-deprecating, I spend as much time as possible thinking and writing about sex. No, not dense, inscrutable post-feminist texts on media representations of gender and the body--that was grad school. I write stories--short stories, novels, and starting a few weeks ago, screenplays--most of which poke and prod and the dark little corners of human sexuality. In a sense, nothing's taboo, anymore. There's no act, no fetish that hasn't been made utterly banal in the proliferation of porn. What intrigues and excites me is the exploration of the conflicting impulses, the twisted psychology and turbulent emotions of people who find themselves unable to resist desires that lie beyond their own moral boundaries.

Will John be able to win Dwyer back or will he break his heart again?

There is a devious villain in this romance novel unlike any that you have ever encountered before. I won't give much away about this villain as I don't believe in spoilers but just to say that he is referred to in the prologue as (The Other) but his identity is revealed later in the book. There are multiple characters and stories within this one book and at times could be confusing but I just stayed strong with it all and the author cleared the way for a sweet love story. I would have loved to see each couple with their own book as I enjoyed these characters so much. I felt the HIV character of Mark could have easily had an entire book based on him. I loved how the author handled his HIV status and that he was very upfront about his illness and how he contracted the disease and his loving boyfriend who loved him unconditionally was so well written. The Rekindling of Love by  Derrick Knight was a sweet love story filled with angst, redemption, mystery, forgiveness, drama, villain's and beautiful written characters.

I really enjoyed this book as it had such great humour and so wonderfully well written. The main characters of Paulie and Ben was so much fun to read about and how they entertained the reader. The rest of the characters were so fun and and well written in such great detail that I found myself wishing I was attending this reunion. I absolutely loved Jamie, Trevor and David and I can't stop thinking about Jeffrey, the hot black house-boy. I liked that it wasn't just about the main characters but also had great secondary storylines of friendships and new love. I highly recommend this beautiful story....PAULIE to anyone who likes to read about hot men, sexy men, nearly naked men, love, forgiveness, acceptance, humour and beautiful MM writing!!!!

In his junior year at a public high school, sweet, bright Casey Minton’s biggest worry isn’t being gay. Keeping from being too badly bullied by his so-called friends, a group of girls called the Queen Bees, is more pressing. Nate De Marco has no friends, his tough home life having taken its toll on his reputation, but he’s determined to get through high school. Zander Zane’s story is different: he’s popular, a jock. Zander knows he’s gay, but fellow students don’t, and he’d like to keep it that way.

No one expects much when these three are grouped together for a class project, yet in the process the boys discover each other’s talents and traits, and a new bond forms. But what if Nate, Zander, and Casey fall in love—each with the other and all three together? Not only gay but also a threesome, for them high school becomes infinitely more complicated and maybe even dangerous. To survive and keep their love alive, they must find their individual strengths and courage and stand together, honest and united. If they can do that, they might prevail against the Queen Bees and a student body frightened into silence—and even against their own crippling fears.

YA/MMM novel....US Three by Mia Kerick!

Junior year high school student, Casey biggest worry isn't being gay, his bigger problem is trying not to be bullied by a group of girls called The Queen Bees. His parents know that he is gay and are very open to his lifestyle and he is very close to his sisters who are also very accepting of him being gay. His mom is very protective of him ever since the incident that happened to him earlier in life.

Nate has a very tough home life and he doesn't really have any friends to speak of. His parents aren't around and he has to live with a very abusive uncle and he takes it as he is trying to protect his little sister from the same abuse. He knows he's gay but he is not out to his family or anyone.

Zander has a completely different story as he is very popular and the jock of the school. Zander also knows he is gay but he keeps that hidden very well as he's not out to anyone in his life. The story is told through 3 unique points of view which was so interesting and fun to read which I enjoyed immensely. Nate tells his story through his diary! Zander's feelings show up in emails to his brother. Casey's story is shown in real time and just trying to survive The Queen Bee's and the support he receives from 2 guys he would have never expected would be there for him.

When the three boys are put together for a school project, nothing seems strange of that. When the boys get together they have found themselves bonding over similarities that they were not aware of. Now what if the three boys...Casey, Nate and Zander fall in love with each other and all three boys together? They're gay and in a threesome, high school has become more difficult and possibly dangerous. Now they must bond together to survive and protect their love and fight against The Queen Bee's and their own fears.

I just loved this beautiful story that the author gave us in Us Three! Her message about bullying and just don't watch it happen but get involved and help and aid the ones being bullied. I really enjoyed this YA/MMM book and how the author told the story and her detailed writing of these fascinating and beautiful characters. I enjoyed how the story is told in 3 POV of the characters and was not confusing at all but brilliantly written and a joy to read. It was great to read an mmm novel and told through the eyes of the YA characters and what they meant to each other and how their threesome bond will get them through their most difficult challenges. I highly and I mean highly recommend this novel...Us Three by Mia Kerick! If you love reading about love, loyalty, angst, bonding, MMM, YA and coming of age stories than this is the book for you!

CASEY’S REAL LIFE

I DON’T know why I gravitated back to those girls when I returned to school this year. Maybe it was because they were constantly pressuring me to hang around with them, spouting all their sunshine-y “let’s just forgive and forget” speeches, and I was too weak to tell them to take a hike. Maybe I was scared of what they’d do to me if I ignored them (which had been my original plan). And then there was the way they always clustered around me in the halls, in the lunchroom, grabbing onto my wrists and dragging me along in their wake. That kind of attention was hard to resist, okay? But if I was going to be completely honest with myself, I’d admit that they were all probably just curious about the novelty of “Casey, the gay recluse,” who’d disappeared from the face of the earth a year and a half ago. Even more likely, they were gloating in the certain knowledge that they’d been a sufficiently mighty squad to actually drive the lone queer boy right out of Benjamin Franklin High School. I mean, that’s quite an accomplishment to have under your belt at the tender age of fourteen.

Why did he leave? Where had he gone? What had he been doing all this time? Inquiring minds wanted to know.

But then maybe it was far less dramatic than all that. Maybe I found myself back with the mean girls because no one else would have me. And sitting alone all the time sucked.

There wasn’t a guy at our school who was secure enough in his manhood to publicly be my friend. So when I came back, the guys forged on with their usual macho position, as if I hadn’t missed even a day of school, let alone eighteen months. Their attitude in regard to me could easily be summed up like this: “Talk to the paw, candy-ass.”

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I even still had to change my clothes in a toilet stall before and after gym class, just like I’d done freshman year. If I didn’t, all the guys accused me of checking them out when they had their shirts off. As if….

But a couple of guys got stuck working with me on our French Cuisine project. I really had no clue how I felt about working with these two—maybe a mix of relieved that I’m not with the Queen Bees, and nervous that I was collaborating academically with Mr. Pop-Jock and Dr. Frankenstein’s monster’s better-looking brother. I was definitely nervous. I didn’t want trouble with them, you know. If a group of girls could take me down the way they did, with such ease, I could only imagine what Nate the Scary and Zander’s gang of “in-crowd” athletes could do to me. So, I tried not to look at either of these guys directly in the eye. That way they couldn’t accuse me of flirting. Or of wanting them desperately.

Mia Kerick is the mother of four exceptional children—all named after saints—and five nonpedigreed cats—all named after the next best thing to saints, Boston Red Sox players. Her husband of twenty years has been told by many that he has the patience of Job, but don’t ask Mia about that, as it is a sensitive subject.

Mia focuses her stories on the emotional growth of troubled men and their relationships, and she believes that sex has a place in a love story, but not until it is firmly established as a love story. As a teen, Mia filled spiral-bound notebooks with romantic tales of tortured heroes (most of whom happened to strongly resemble lead vocalists of 1980s big-hair bands) and stuffed them under her mattress for safekeeping. She is thankful to Dreamspinner Press for providing her with an alternate place to stash her stories.

Mia is proud of her involvement with the Human Rights Campaign and cheers for each and every victory made in the name of marital equality. Her only major regret: never having taken typing or computer class in school, destining her to a life consumed with two-fingered pecking and constant prayer to the Gods of Technology.

My themes I always write about:

Sweetness. Unconventional love, tortured/damaged heroes- only love can save them.

The supernatural novel Bonded by Rosalie Tarr!!!!

Alec is an old fashioned vampire and now he is approaching his 123rd birthday. His main function now is hunting murderous vampires to help regain some sense of the decline of the human race. Aidan is a young and beautiful man who meets Alec who turns out to be his bonded mate which comes as a complete surprise to Alec. Both men appear to be straight and they're trying to deal with their attraction to each other which is very new for them. Now that they are coming to terms with their hot newly connection, a serial killer has now set his sights on the couple.

I enjoyed how the characters tried to fight their attraction to each other and it also comes down to some supernatural powers that might be pulling them together. I was riveted to the story mainly by the great writing of beautiful dialogue and how the author snuck in some great humour. The character of Aidan was so interesting to read as he was human, straight and had a girlfriend which brought on some internal conflicts with what he feels for Alec.

The only issue I had and it wasn't a bad one was at times the story was too neatly tied up and written and needed some edge but by all means it does not ruin the story. If you like reading about vampires, supernatural characters, serial killers, funny friends than Bonded by Rosalie Tarr is the book for you.

Rosalie Tarr resides in the countryside of West Virginia with her husband and children. Amid the invigorating chaos of being a stay-at-home mother, she somehow finds the time to enjoy some of her favorite personal pastimes, which largely include reading and writing paranormal romance stories. When she’s not delving into a sensual world of vampires and werewolves, she loves to be outdoors with her family, soaking up the serene beauty of the Appalachian hills.

For most of her life, Rosalie has dreamed of one day writing stories that someone besides her own mother would want to read. It wasn’t until high school, when she earned a young writer’s scholarship to attend a workshop at the local college, that she realized more than ever that her career of choice was in fictional writing. Bonded is Rosalie's first novel.

Nyrae Dawn
5 Star Review

This is the M/M novel by Nyrae Dawn called RUSH!!!!!!!

Brandon is a tough, athletic college football player. There is nothing more he loves than being on the field playing football. When he is injured there is only one person that can get him back on the field and that is the love that he has tried to move on from. Alec has never gotten over or forgave Brandon from abandoning their close friendship and the bond they shared together. He can't help but come to the aid of his closet friend. Now that they're spending so much time together, those old feelings resurface in a big way and both men aren't prepared for it. Alec wants to come out to his very strict family and Brandon is considering coming out as a gay football player but how will their families and the world accept for their love!

What I enjoyed so much was the coming out process that these men had to endure and deal with just in order to be together to share the love that they had for one another. They are in love with each other very much but the question remains, how strong are they to deal with what is coming their way. Brandon is quite nervous as how the football world is going to receive him as an out of the closet athlete? The scene between Brandon and his father was very tough to read and so unbelievably heartbreaking but it was so well written by Nyrae Dawn and it needed to be told to make this story so realistic which it is very much was. You just want to grab Brandon and console him and tell him everything will be ok and go find Alec now. I loved how the author built these characters and their detailed love for one another was one of the most beautiful stories that I have read. The sex scenes...OMG.... was so hot that I found myself panting for more!

I highly recommend this coming out novel...RUSH by Nyrae Dawn! Is the relationship between Brandon and Alec strong enough to endure the pressures of being a gay couple? Will outside forces stop their love from growing? Will Brandon and Alec have an HEA? If you like reading MM novels about love, angst, passion, forgiveness, coming out, hot hex and beautifully written, heartfelt scenes than this is the book for you!!!!!

This new adult, male/male romance will capture the audience who fell in love with Nyrae Dawn's Games Trilogy.

For the love of the game.

Brandon Chase has always defined himself by one thing: football. Tough and athletic, he is a great college player who enjoys the hard hits and the sweaty grind of the gridiron. But when Brandon is injured, only one person can help him get back on track-a forbidden love he's desperately tried to put behind him.

Alec Andrews has never quite forgiven Brandon for walking away when their friendship turned into something more. But he can't deny help to one of his closest friends. As the two spend the long, hot summer working together, their old attraction comes flooding back.

Now as Alec thinks about coming out to his conservative family and Brandon considers revealing he's a gay football player, the two men must be strong to fight for a love that could be the greatest rush of their lives.

Writing has always been Nyrae Dawn’s passion. Even when she was too busy chasing kids or working, writing stories was never far from her mind.

She feels a special pull to characters in their teens. There’s something so fresh and fun about the age that she adores exploring. Her husband says it’s because she doesn’t want to grow up. She doesn’t think that’s such a bad thing. Luckily for her, he doesn’t either.

Nyrae gravitates toward character-driven stories. Whether reading or writing, she loves emotional journeys. It’s icing on the cake when she really feels something, but is able to laugh, too. She’s also a proud romantic at heart who has a soft spot for flawed characters. She loves people who aren’t perfect, who make mistakes but also have a big heart.

Nyrae resides in sunny Southern California with her husband (who still makes her swoon) and her two awesome kids.

When she’s not with her family, you can be pretty sure you’ll find her with a book in her hand or her laptop and an open document in front of her.

She writes for Entangled Publishing, Grand Central Publishing and is self-published.

Nyrae is represented by Jane Dystel of Dystel and Goderich Literary Management.

Nyrae Dawn also writes adult romance under the name Kelley Vitollo.

The newest novel by Lyana Jenna.....A Home For Jesse!!!

Jesse has been so unlucky so far in life. His roommate leaves him which makes Jesse homeless and he thinks, what would my mother think of me now. For more bad luck Jesse is let go from his fast food job but at least he still his PA job on a movie set but this can't even pay the rent for the worst Hollywood apartment. So now it's time to make it to his bed on a park bench.

Trey is a TV star where Jesse is employed. One night they leave together after work and Trey is thinking that Jesse is far too good looking to be a PA. He finds out that Jesse is homeless so he invites him to stay with him instead of sleeping on a park bench. Jesse accepts of course but with hesitation as he is thinking, what is the catch here.

I really enjoyed the character of Jesse as he takes nothing in life for granted and appreciates everything he gets and through tough times he is still very optimistic. I loved the fact that he has no issues with being gay even in Hollywood which is very rare. He seems to be the new Hollywood where it is fine to be gay and live your life truthfully and with openness. Trey has very strong feelings for Jesse and won't confide in his best friend, so one wonders how comfortable he is with being gay and a Hollywood star. Then were introduced to Brent who is Trey's BFF and this guy does everything to keep Jesse and Trey apart. It makes sense why he didn't feel comfortable with sharing his feelings with Brent about Trey. Is Brent doing this to keep Trey from being outted as a gay male star or is he threatened by the new relationship between Trey and Brent. I will leave that for the reader to find out. Will Jesse and Trey make it as a couple? Will being gay destroy their careers? Will these sweet men have an HEA?

This ain’t so bad. Jesse pats his laden backpack. He stretches himself on the bench and lowers his head onto the bag, grimacing at the bumps pressing against his head and neck. Awesome. He is going to have major cricks and headaches come morning. That is if he’s not suffering from early signs of pneumonia.

Jesse shifts and grunts and finally gives up. He sits up, takes off his jacket, and spreads it over his front before he lies down again. Moving a bit again to find the most comfortable position, he thinks,Fuck, now my shorts are stuck in the crack of my ass. Jesse reaches down and pulls them free -- ah, that’s better.

He takes a deep breath. So he’s a bum now, is he? His ma would be heartbroken if she knew. She could blame him for being such a hard head and insisting on having his own way. Jesse stares blankly at the leaves swaying on treetops, at the shadows of the swings dancing in the dark, at the stars blinking mockingly down at him. At least the fact that they are up there means that the sky is cloudless and Jesse doesn’t need to worry about the possibility of rain tonight. Getting soaked when the only place he has to sleep is this park would be a pain in the ass, not to mention hazardous to his health. Jesse also hopes no cops will come patrolling tonight.

Weary to the bone, Jesse curls both hands under the side of his face and gives in to slumber.

“Come on, Trey, one more glass. Don’t be a spoilsport.”

Whatone more glass means for Brent must be different from what it means for Trey. They have been here for hours. Trey had sneaked a glance at his watch once. It showed four -- and that must have been half an hour ago. Still there is no sign they are leaving soon.

Trey regrets his decision not to drive his own car and ride with Brent instead. Fuck. He’s going to screw up his shot big time tomorrow -- or rather, this afternoon.

“What celebration am I spoiling again?” Trey leans forward. Brent looks taken aback but he immediately offers a smile, which looks more like a snake’s sneer.

“Trey, that’s not nice.” He wags his forefinger.

“The hell with nice.” Trey rests his head on his folded arms on the table. “I’d rather be with Jess --”

Oops. He slipped up and said it out loud.

Brent and the others sitting around the table seem to come to a consensus to stop whatever they are doing and switch their attention to Trey.

“Jess? Jess who?” Brent asks. “I thought you were with Kimberly.”

Trey feels blood rush into his face but he sighs inwardly in relief that Brent doesn’t know who he was talking about.

“Kimberly? Right. And you said she’d be here! Where is she, Brenton?”

Brent visibly cringes at the name and Trey feels like guffawing. Eat that, asshat!

“My name’s not Brenton.”

“So what? You haven’t answered my question.”

And neither has Trey, but Brent has forgotten about that. Trey gulps down his drink, and tries to shut down from everything going on around him.

Iyana lives in Jakarta, a city famous for its traffic jams, a lot of cars and motorcycles, and people selling stuff on the roads. You can spend two hours on the road going to a place you can reach in half an hour in a normal situation. Thanks to the traffic jams, though, Iyana can come up with a lot of stories, mostly shorties, as she prefers to spend the time during her trips writing into her cell phone rather than sleeping.

Another thing Iyana loves is kitties. Right now she has five of them. Their names are Larva, Nyil, Cil, Mermood, and Horus. When she doesn’t write, she plays with them, or they would play with her when she writes.
