Story Blurb:

Tony Wilcox, the quiet keyboard player for Ivory Tower, has always believed he was straight. A sexual encounter with his best friend leaves Tony questioning his heart and the unwavering attraction he has for Jared. Living and working together is no longer enough for Tony... he wants more. He wants Jared as his.

Jared Baker, the bass player for the band, has a past that is getting in the way of him fully embracing what he wants... Tony. He's tried everything to create distance between them, but none of it eliminated the feelings he has developed for Tony.

Trying to suppress the anger and confusion from Jared withdrawing from his life, Tony does his best to get beyond the feelings he has for his friend. When Jared becomes deathly ill, it's Tony that he calls for help and Tony has to decide if he can heal Jared without giving away too much of his heart.

Can best friends find their way to true love and discover if they were meant for each other, or will the challenges of life force them to choose separate paths?

Tony Wilcox, the quiet keyboard player always believed he was straight. Now with a sexual hook up with his best friend is making Tony have feelings for Jared. He wants Jared for himself and their work relationship is no longer enough. Jared Baker, is a bass player for his band and his past is making it difficult being with the person he wants and desires – Tony. He has done his best to push Tony away but nothing can deter his feelings for him.

I absolutely just love this series as it has band members of two rock bands and the author gives us a great look into this rock band world. The author has topped herself with the characters of Tony and Jared as their connection and chemistry is so undeniably beautiful! Tony and Jared are the best of friends and they're always together. Tony always felt like he was straight that is until he had a sexual experience with Jared and something happened to open Tony's eyes and heart and now nothing will ever be the same again for them both. I love that she brought back all the characters and gave us some great updates on where they are now.

I truly loved how Ann has developed this series (The Rock Gods) and the newest novel in the series is simply amazing. I love the hot and steamy connection between these characters and how Ann brings them and their love for each other to life. Ann's details of this MM love and the rock world is simply brilliant and so incredibly well done.

I found myself completely attached to these characters and how they grow as gay men and develop such a beautiful relationship together was so beautifully told. This book was such an incredible page turner and you won't ever want it to end as you completely get swept up into their relationship and love for each other. This is something that doesn't always happen in every novel so I give the author lots of credit for accomplishing this. I highly recommend Meant For Me for anyone who loves to read about the rock world, hot gay sex, drama, beautiful pure love and brilliant writing than this is the novel for you.

“We need to toast first,” Tony scolded.

“Okay, here's to owning real estate together,” Jared said quickly.

“Is that the best you got?” Tony asked.

Jared swirled the liquid around in his glass and thought about Tony's question. That wasn't the best he had by any means, and he hoped he had many, many years to show Tony over and over the best he really did have to offer him. Just thinking about their years ahead made a lump form in Jared's throat. He'd never imagined being one half of a couple, or having something long term with a lover, but Tony changed all that and now Jared couldn't imagine anything else. “You are the best of me,” Jared said softly. “You are the one truly meant for me. I am certain of that as much as my next breath. You are my 'forever,' T, and starting this journey here with you in this house we now own together...I feel so lucky.” Jared's voice trailed off as emotion chocked his throat.

“Weren't you the one that said luck didn't have anything to do with us?” Tony questioned.

Jared nodded. “I did say that, but Jesus, Tony, having you in my life has totally rocked my world in the best possible way. I honestly never thought I'd have this kind of feeling or relationship in my life. All that searching and it always came right back to you.”

Book blurb:

Is it truly better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all?

In Larken’s case, he isn’t so sure. He did love someone, then he lost them, and it hurt like hell. Now, Larken has to figure out how he’s going to get over it and find love once more. Then again, does he even want to care for someone so strongly for a second time? He’s had his heart broken once, and he fears it’s too soon to open up to someone else. But how can he really deny the new feelings that are growing inside him?

Khale, on the other hand, has yet to fall in love at all. It’s something he’s wanted his whole life, and now he finds that it may be within his grasp. Khale could love Larken with all his heart—he can see himself with the warrior for the rest of his life. But Khale also yearns for Vardel to finally accept him as his son, and this wanting misguides him, leading him into trouble. Now he needs Larken’s help—he needs the man he’s fallen in love with to save him, but he fears his secrets and possible betrayal will have ruined his chance of ever finding happiness.

AThis Dey is the 4th book in the Finding Home Series by Jennifer Wright!!!
"Author and myself recommends that this series be read in order!!!"

Larken doesn't know if it was better to love and lost than never to have loved at all as he was in love but he lost it and it broke his heart. Now he has to ask himself does he want to open himself up to that kind of hurt again.

Khale is on the other side of it as he has yet to fall in love. He has been looking for that very special person and Khale could very much love Larken. Khale also desires that Vardel to finally except him as his son but this wanting leads him into some trouble. Now Khale desperately needs the help of the man who he has fallen in love with-Larken.

I love reading how much Khale and Larkin were meant to be together and their undeniable connection was some amazing reading. Larken is dealing with a broken heart after being dumped by Zane. Khale has been abused for being gay and he will do anything for the approval which doesn't come very easily that is until he meets Larken.

I so enjoyed the writing style of the author, Jennifer Wright very much and the unique world she created with vampires, dragons and all the creatures in her realm. Her detailed writing of the characters was so spot on that I felt that I knew them. She really knows how to set the stage for high intensity scenes with beautiful men and the love between Khale and Larken was so beautifully written that the reader will want more and more of these men.

I loved this novel so much so that the author had me on the edge of my seat through the entire novel. I couldn't predict what was about to happen next and that is a great quality in writing. Jennifer's writing is simply brilliant and how she comes up with these stories, characters, realms and unique worlds in this fascinating genre.

I highly recommend this novel, AThis Dey by Jennifer Wright for anyone who loves reading about vampires, danger, hot men, blood thirsty creatures and beautiful man on man love!!!!

Excerpt:

Khale grunted as Ballen stumbled through the castle doors. He was grateful that the vampire had helped him back to the coven, but having his arm over Ballen’s shoulders was pulling terribly at his back. Unable to take the pain the awkward position caused, Khale pulled away from Ballen’s hold.

“Thanks, Ballen, but I think I can take it from here.”

“Are you sure? That was a hard fall you took. If it weren’t for the tree branches slowing you down as you fell, I imagine you would’ve broken quite a few bones.”

Khale was pretty sure he would have too, and that wouldn’t have been good. Taking days to heal from one broken rib was one thing. Having to heal from several… Well, that’d just be awful.

Placing a gentle hand on Khale’s shoulder, Ballen said, “Come on. Let’s get you to your room.”

As pleasurable as taking a moment to lie down sounded, he knew there wasn’t time. Shaking his head, Khale said, “No, we need to get to the war room. We need to tell the others about what happened. The Dráguns might still be nearby, or there could be others. The sooner we tell Remus, the better.”

“Don’t worry about it. I’ll tell them—right after I get you to your room.”

He wanted to be there to learn of what Remus planned to do, but Khale figured he’d have

someone fill him in on it later. Ballen was right. He needed to get to his room.

On the second floor, though, Khale managed to talk Ballen into leaving him and going to the war room, assuring the vampire that he’d make it the rest of the way to his room just fine—and he did, but it was a slow and painful journey. His whole body ached from the impact of hitting the ground. Various areas of his face stung from the bite of the thinner branches, and some of the cuts were still bleeding.

Heading to his wardrobe, Khale removed his waistcoat and let it fall to the floor—his vest was next and his shirt soon followed after. Opening the wardrobe, he looked into the mirror hanging inside it, observing the thin slashes along his skin and the gouge at the edge of his hairline on his forehead. It didn’t look too bad, but though the gouge wasn’t bleeding too severely, he knew it’d probably take the rest of the night before it healed completely. Turning around, he looked over his shoulder and inspected his back. Bruises were starting to form but, like Ballen had said, thankfully nothing was broken.

Khale jumped and nearly fell into the wardrobe when his bedroom door crashed open.

“Are you all right?”

Before Khale could answer Larken’s question, the vampire was already near him, reaching out to Khale. His first instinct was to back away, to avoid the man’s touch, but this time he didn’t. He was hurting and craved comfort from another—from Larken.

Khale let out a heavy sigh as Larken framed his face with his hands, his fingertips threading into his hair. He turned his face into the touch, then hissed as a callous on Larken’s hand rubbed hard against one of the cuts.

“I’m sorry,” Larken said, then he started to pull away.

Quickly reaching up, Khale placed his hands over Larken’s, keeping them there. He didn’t want to lose the relief he felt from the vampire’s touch. “Don’t. I don’t…” His words failed him as he stared up into Larken’s eyes.

Larken smiled, but Khale could still see the concern etched around the corners of his mouth, making Khale want to kiss the worry lines away.

“Dear gods, when Ballen told us what happened…” Larken’s brow pulled down, confliction shining in his eyes. “I know you said no before, but… I’m sorry, I…”

Larken’s Adam’s apple bobbed up and down as the man swallowed, then Khale stood in shock as Larken leaned down and kissed him. Again, his instinct was to pull away, but he couldn’t.

He didn’t want to.

Moaning, Khale slanted his head as Larken’s tongue pushed past his lips and into his mouth, deepening the kiss. The man tasted incredible. He tasted of heat and passion and everything Khale desired. Their tongues fought for dominance, their lips mashing together, seeming to never get enough. Larken fed him groans of lust, spiking Khale’s hunger. The vampire’s hands traveled along Khale’s sides then settled on his ass, squeezing tight and pulling Khale nearer, pressing their hardening cocks together. Of their own accord, Khale’s arms came up and wrapped around Larken’s neck.

When Larken wound his arms around him, embracing him tightly, Khale gasped and stiffened within his hold.

Jumping back, Larken quickly said, “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. Did I hurt you?”

Cringing, Khale looked over his shoulder again and assessed the bruises. When he heard the sharp intake of breath, he looked in the mirror to see Larken staring at the reflection of his back.

“Oh, Khale, what’s going on?” He moved closer, and this time Khale did back away. “How is it that you have bruises like that?” Larken continued. He looked at Khale’s face. “Why aren’t you healing? Have you not fed recently? Do you need blood?”

What was he supposed to say to that when he didn’t know the answer himself? He’d just fed this evening before he’d joined the others for breakfast, but feeding had never played much part in his healing process. He had a feeling that his inability to heal as quickly as other vampires would never be solved.

Shaking his head, Khale replied, “No, I don’t need to feed.”

“Are you sure?” Larken reached out for him. “I could—”

Khale backed away more quickly this time. The pain from his back had cleared his head, making him realize that he shouldn’t have let Larken touch him before. That he should have ended the kiss immediately. He had his reasons, but he wasn’t sure Larken would understand them. “I said no,” he said, a little more harshly than he had meant to.

A flash of hurt crossed Larken’s features, but his expression quickly turned stoic. His hands dropped to his sides and his lips tightened into a thin line. “All right. I’m sorry to have bothered you.” He turned and headed toward the door.

Khale opened his mouth to tell him to stop, to apologize for his tone, but he instead closed it without saying a word and watched Larken exit his room.

Author bio:

Hey everyone, I'm Jen and I'm an author of M/M erotic romance. I love M/M romance, both reading and writing it—seriously, what's better than a sexy man... Two sexy men! You can't go wrong there. Though I do dabble in a little bit of M/F romance, my main passion will always be smutting it up with men, men and more men. I try to dedicate as much of my free time to writing as I can—ha! What free time?—but if I’m not typing away on my laptop, you’ll find me with my nose buried in a book, or with my loving fiancé debating on what movie to watch and the never-ending back and forth decision of what to have for dinner. I love spending time with my family and fiancé, cuddling with my dog and two cats, and laughing as much as possible—’cause I like to think I'm funny!

Some little tidbits about me are—I love animals of all sorts, I have a really big sweet-tooth, and I've been told I like to talk with my hands (insert hand gestures here).

GMR 5 STAR REVIEW!!!

Three young guys meet at university and develop life changing relationships. Francis is looking for a new life and can't forget his past. Andrew the shy jock and Sebastian the overly confident and extroverted hockey star. Francis had no idea he would find someone to care for. Andrew never thought anything or anyone would matter more than his hockey career that is until he met these guys at university. Sebastian was very happy going from hook up to hook up as he never thought he would meet a guy who could hold his interest. Will they make it against all odds?

This was such a unique and thought-provoking novel and really takes you into such degrees of levels into these men. I enjoyed how the story goes from past to present and it flows very smoothly and easy to follow. Francis had a huge dramatic past filled with abuse, bullying and suicide. He had a lot of guilt which was very misplaced and he carries a tremendous amount of baggage. He meets Sebastian at University and he's quite intimidated with him and Andrew who he felt he shared a huge connect with. The three men developed. a huge bond which includes a hot threesome and then comes the drama by way of a reporter who comes around to expose Francis past. Then Sebastian and Andrew do the most beautiful thing to help Francis and that one act of love moved me beyond tears.

This is a beautiful and heart wrenching story filled with love, loyalty, abuse, sex, forgiveness and acceptance. I love how these guys were on the most important journey of self-discovery. The author developed such amazing and brilliant characters. He brought these characters too life and I for one will not forget them anytime soon. I highly recommend Love Cubed by Eddie LeFey!!!!

What inspired my story?

A few people have asked me “What inspired this story?” I’ve decided to publically answer this question:

The first idea I had was the scene where Sebastian asks Francis “Are you gay?” This is a question which was asked to me personally (well, several other times too, but…) in quite a similar way than that which I described in the story, Love Cubed.

I also wanted to describe, fictionally, the relationship I had with the person who asked me that question and another person whom we both knew.  I wanted to explore what an ideal situation would be, as opposed to what really happened, because it was messy and certainly not a HEA situation.  I wanted to explore the possibility that maybe there could be a HEA in this situation.

I also wanted to explore the world of sporty people. Homophobia abounds, still, in this world. There has been a lot of progress, but the problem still exists. Coming out as an athlete is still not easy and I wanted to explore what that meant.

I wanted to have a character that linked the crazily sexy sporty guy, and the closeted introspective one. So, I fictionalized, and emphasized, my own experience. Trauma is prevalent in the gay experience. There is plenty of bullying, but there is also a fair amount of sexual abuse of one sort or another. I wanted the main character to be the catalyst, the reason all the another characters wanted or needed to change. I came up with Francis who happens to have similar traits that I historically had in my youth.

Finally, I think that talking about sexual trauma and the fear of HIV is still important, even today. I needed that to be a part of the story, but I wanted the Sebastian and Andrew characters to be sympathetic,. I would hope that in that situation today, most young people would not let fear get in the way of their relationship. In this ideal world, that is the case.

If I hadn’t been writing a romance, maybe the characters and situation would have turned out much more realistic, but I was writing one. I wanted a HEA. I needed one, so I wrote one. I hope people will recognize that, but still see the underlying social situations, and think, and learn… if only a little bit.

Francis sighed. He scooted down off the sofa. He wanted to look at everyone when he said what he had to say, but he especially wanted to see Andrew and Sebastian. He addressed his comments to the blond beauty and the brown-haired Adonis. “I don’t want to be obvious. The more obvious I am, the closer the three of us get, the more people will start talking about the two of you. I do not want to be responsible for ruining your lives.”

Andrew was shocked. He hadn’t realized Francis had internalized his own fears.

Andrew jumped up off the sofa and walked to Francis, putting both hands on Francis’ face,  cupping it. “Francis, babe, you don’t have to change who you are—not for me... or for Sebastian. You are beautiful just being you.”

Francis’ eyes had started to water. He needed to get this out. “What if I do something or say something? Maybe Marco knew because he’s gay himself—but Steve? He knew. I couldn’t cope if people started asking questions and pestering you. What happens if someone figures out who I am? Maybe this is a mistake. We haven’t thought about all the consequences. Not to mention, most people won’t understand why the three of us want to be together.”

Sebastian did not like where Francis was trying to take his train of thought. This wasn’t a mistake. They weren’t a mistake. He needed to steer this conversation away from thoughts of Francis stopping things. Sebastian also got up off the sofa and moved behind Andrew, sandwiching the blond. He put a hand in one of Andrew’s front pockets and reached out the other hand to grab one of Francis’ belt loops. He pulled Francis to him, gently. This caused Francis to be very close to Andrew; so much so Andrew could feel Francis’ breath. He could feel Francis’ thighs rubbing against his. Andrew could also feel Sebastian’s manhood on his buttocks. To calm himself, the blond turned his head slightly so he could temporarily avert the intense green-eyed gaze in front of him. He lowered his hands and put one on Francis’ waist. He reached back toward Sebastian with the other.

Francis looked into the brown eyes that were now in front of him, as Sebastian continued, pleading, "Francis, babe. People have been talking about me for years. I can take the talk. If you think no one has ever suspected, or talked, about Andrew.... Please don’t say you want us to end.”

Francis stared into Sebastian’s eyes. He could tell Sebastian was being sincere. That Sebastian wanted him, wanted Andrew, and not just for sex. If that were the case, they would have done the deed many times already.

Francis glanced at Andrew. A smile had formed on Andrew’s face. “Francis, I need to tell you two things. One: I know this is difficult. Having a relationship like this is hard. Nevertheless, I don’t want to hear this kind of talk again, unless you’re really serious. And two: Francis, you do know the last thing Steve said was directed as much to me, and even Sebastian, as it was to you. Don’t you? What does that tell you? Maybe you aren’t the only one who’s obvious—think on that.”

About the authorEddy LeFey

Eddie LeFey started reading m/m romance fanfiction a few years ago. At one point, during a crucial point in the soap opera storyline of his favorite gay couple, the story went on hiatus. He needed a fix and decided to write his own version of what he wished would happen. Friends wanted to read it, so he plucked up his courage. Pressing the submission button was nerve-wracking, but he did it. People liked it. He wrote a few more.

Up until that point Eddy had tried his hand at writing many times. The delete button was his friend, as was starting over, and over, and over, but he could no longer do that if he wanted people to read his works.

A few of his writing friends decided to create original stories, and feeling brave, Eddy did the same. The stories were shared among a select few. They encouraged him to submit one of them. Low and behold, it is now being published.

Eddy lives in Canada with his husband Ken and his cat Oscar Wild. He is busy writing many more stories.

Gay for Pay
An All Cocks story
by TM Smith
Tentative release is mid to late June 2015
Picture
Christopher Allan Roberts thought he had a promising future. Captain of the football team with the promise of a scholarship to play for Alabama. His high school sweetheart and best friend for as long as he could remember Amanda by his side, and the love and support of his family. One night, one mistake changed everything. Chris moves to New York, adrift and alone. A walk one night brings him to the flashing lights, loud music and thrumming bodies at club Berlin. A flyer in the men’s room promises fame and fortune for anyone willing to go on camera and have sex, with another man. Money is money, and how hard could it be, right?

Linc Larson is All Cocks most requested, most versatile model. The openly bi-sexual gay porn star will do anything with anyone, which pretty much writes his ticket in a versatility charged industry. Lincoln Carter is honest with everyone in his life, including his family, about who he is and about his sexual preferences. It’s not his sexuality that interferes with his personal life though; it’s his inability to trust.

What Linc wants right now, more than anything, is the chance to do a scene with All Cocks newest acquisition, Kris Alen. Six foot two with Auburn hair, an exquisitely toned body and enough ink on his skin to put Crayola out of business, Kris Alen is sex personified. Linc doesn’t know if it’s the “I want the shiny new toy” aspect that calls to him, or the distant and wounded expression that haunts Kris’s eyes. It becomes painfully clear soon enough that Kris is straight and only working the gay for pay angle that All Cocks brings to his bank account.

Can a bi-sexual man with trust issues break down the barriers that Christopher has built around himself and help Kris come to terms with the painful past he is hiding from.

Gay for Pay is a gay for you story about two men that will have to come to terms with the mistakes they made in their past if they want to stick around and have a chance at a future.
Picture
Gay for Pay is the first book in a series I'm planning that centers around the particular online gay porn site, All Cocks. I've always been intrigued by the inner workings of the industry, I follow the cockyboys site and their fearless leader, Jake Jackson, closely. They really seem like a family of sorts. So that is what I hope I'm creating with this new series. A group of guys that are drawn together for whatever reason, and become a family.

This first book will focus on the story of Christopher and Linc, but several of the characters you'll learn more about as the series progresses are introduced. Chris and Linc were born from a conversation I had with a couple of gay porn stars at a book convention I attended in 2014. I don't want to give too much away, as I want to keep everyone anxious to grab a copy when the book releases in June. And for anyone attending Rainbow Book Fair in Tampa in July, I'll be there as well with a ton of paperbacks so you can stop by my table, we can visit, and you can grab some goodies!
Picture
~ An excerpt from Gay for Pay...

A trip to the bathrooms and Chris learned there really were Glory Holes in men’s rooms. And from the sounds that were leaking out from under the stall next to him, he was certain someone was getting nailed to the wall in there, literally. A loud thud and the wall shook, then a scream and a guttural moan alerted Chris that whoever was in there had found their peak. A cute little thing with long black hair streaked blue, eyes lined black as night fell out of the stall while zipping up his pants, with what could only be described as a grizzly bear following behind him. Chris had to look up at the guy, and that didn’t happen often.

Quickly making his way back to his group of friends smiling, anxious to tell them what just happened, he stopped in his tracks when he saw Linc pushed up against the bar, a big guy with black hair claiming his mouth. Linc wrapped his arms around the guys neck as he pulled the man closer, rutting up against him. Even over the bass of the music and the ringing in Chris’s ears, he could hear the moans Linc was emitting. He thought for a moment that the guy was going to fuck Linc right there up against the bar. He was sort of hard, a little jealous and very confused at those two emotions. He had never been turned on by another guy when he wasn’t in the mindset of Kris while filming a scene. Or out at the house surrounded by all that sex and the job. But right here standing in this loud, dark, smelly bar with half naked bodies writhing all around him, watching Linc climb up the guys body and wrap his legs around his large waist, Chris was turned on.

Gay for Pay Playlist for Paul

~ Queer as Folk – Feel it

~ Queer as Folk – Intro

Music is always key when I’m writing, I create a playlist for every book I’m working on. I changed up my style of music for this book as well, listening to more Jazz than Classical. So if you’ve followed the playlists for my other books, this one is vastly different.

In the first chapter, Chris is walking around New York when he stumbles upon a club with flashing lights and loud thumping base. Once he gets inside the music becomes more hypnotic, for me I kept hearing the opening scene for the first episode of Queer as Folk.

~ Smooth Jazz Songs

For Chris’s first scene on camera he pulls out his I-pod and clicks on his favorite Jazz playlist. Hence the reason why I’ve been listening to lots of Jazz music while writing this book. Nina Simone is amazing, let me just say.

~ George Ezra – Budapest

~ Eli Lieb – Young Love

~ Steve Grand – Time

~ Kadie Elder – First Time he Kissed a Boy

The first time Chris and Linc kiss, it doesn’t quite go as planned. I found this song by Kadie Elder on youtube and just fell in love with it. Just seems to fit the circumstances in the book.

~ Asbjorn – The Love You Have In You

~ The Irrepressibles – Two Men in Love

~ Adam Lambert – Ghost Town

All the songs on the playlist really fit within the story, but I don’t want to give away all the details yet, then you won’t need to grab a copy of the book when it releases next month! Thank you all for stopping by today, I hope you’ll come hang with me and the authors that are helping me celebrate over on facebook for the big event. There will be prizes, games and giveaways.

BOYSTOWN Season Three

“As the bomb exploded, it filled the area with thick, black smoke and flaming debris.  It would be a while before the smoke cleared and hotel security could see the extent of the damage.  Everyone hoped it would be the best new year ever.”  -BOYSTOWN Season Two

It’s a race against time to save those caught in the New Year’s Eve explosion.  The survivors may not be the lucky ones as they struggle to restore normalcy to their lives.  As the smoke clears, families are torn apart and lives are permanently altered.

Even more dangerous than the bomb, the Mancini-Ciancio feud heats up as family members fight for control and survival.  At the same time, Jesse Morgan faces the fallout from his plan to break up his mother and her husband, Keith Colgan works to keep his past from destroying his future, Rachel Carson begins a plan that may have deadly consequences, and the search for the fourth Mancini brother reveals secrets that threaten to tear relationships apart forever.

It all culminates in a fabulous fundraiser like none that anyone in Boystown has ever experienced.

Welcome home to BOYSTOWN!

Boystown Season Three-Boystown Series Jake Biondi!!!I recommend this series to be read in order!

The New Years Eve explosion leaves everyone fighting for their lives and leaves the survivors trying to put their lives back together which is no easy task with this bunch. The Mancini-Ciancio family feud is getting seriously out of hand with members fighting for control.

This series could completely be made into a television series and I believe that it should be as when reading this series I actually felt that I was watching a drama TV series. Emmet and Max, all the drama and story seems to be focusing on these guys and the explosion that erupted when they announced their engagement. Derek has no choice but to accept and realize his love for Cole. So much happens in this novel and the series and the drama that follows these characters is quite intense so get ready for a wild ride that Jake will take you on. A great twist happens with Emmet and Max as their friendship wasn't quite what they have been portraying.

I enjoyed the 3rd installment in the Boystown Series and at times it was intense as some of the characters and their actions were not the most lovable by any means but this just speaks volumes of the brilliant writing as not everything in life is roses...lol I won't go through all the characters as I would be here for a very long time as the novel is filled with some hot and riveting well written characters. Jake will have you glued to each page and the high intensity will make it very difficult to put the book down. I found that I wanted this 3rd installment to go on and on and what amazing characters. Yes there are quite a few of them but Jake blends them so well together. This is a fascinating series and I for one hope it never stops or in the show format, hope it never gets cancelled and keeps getting renewed. Trust me you don't want to miss Boystown Season Three or the entire Boystown Series by Jake Biondi!!!

BOYSTOWN Season Three Excerpt (from Episode 26)

Dressed as his brother, Marco slowly helped his aunt into the chair in her San Francisco hotel.  Deliberately leaving the room dark, Marco sat himself in a chair to Concetta’s side.  Holding a cloth bag in her lap, she turned slightly to her side to try to face her nephew from behind her thick glasses.

“Thank you for arranging this hotel room for me, Gino,” she said softly.  “It’s lovely.”

“No problem at all, Aunt Connie.  As I’m sure you can understand, I am eager to hear what you have to tell me.”

“Of course,” she replied.  “Your mother and I were sisters.  Few sisters are as close as we were.  We told each other everything.”

“She always spoke very highly of you.”

“So whenever our lives got crazy or stressful, we turned to each other for support and help, as I hope you and Marco do as well.”

            Marco smiled.  “We do.”

“You know that her affair with Antonio Mancini was something that she struggled with for a long time after it was over.  She loved him.  But she loved your father, too.”

            “I know she did.”

“So when it ended and something happened, she turned to me for help.”

“Something happened?” Marco asked.  “You mean her cancer?”

“No,” Concetta replied.  “Your mother didn’t actually have cancer at the time she came to stay with me.”

Marco’s eye widened.  “What?  But that’s why she went to Rome. To participate in those experimental studies.  Why else would she have left us for so long?”

“The cancer and those treatments was a story that she and I made up so that she could get away and stay with me for an extended period of time.”

“You lied to all of us?”

            “I protected my sister.”

            “From what?”

“From the truth,” Concetta stated, clearing her throat.  “Your mother came to Rome with a medical condition, but it wasn’t cancer.   She was pregnant.”

            “Oh, God,” Marco said.

“She came here to live until she had the baby so that no one at home would know.”

            “But she died of cancer.”

“She did,” Concetta said with a nod.  “Which they ironically discovered while she was here.  So her lie became the truth.”  Concetta paused for moment to catch her breath.  “She always said that cancer was punishment for the sin of her affair.  God’s punishment.  I tried to explain to her that God doesn’t work that way.”

“And what happened to the baby?  Did she have it?”

Concetta nodded again.  “She did.  A baby boy.”

“So I have a half brother?”

“You do.  But, Gino, remember what I told you.  This information is for you and you alone right now.”

            “But why?”

“Your mother loved and trusted you more than anyone else in your family.  Even me.”

“How is that possible?  She told you everything.”

“No,” Concetta said, reaching into the cloth bag on her lap and removing a large, leather covered book.  “She toldyou everything.”  She handed the diary to Marco.

            “What is this?”

“Your mother kept a diary during her time in Rome.  She said it helped her process and work through all that had happened and how she felt about her pregnancy.  Even after she gave birth, she kept writing.  She wrote in it all the time, until she decided it was time to return home to America and her family.”

“And she gave it to you.”

“When she left, she gave me very clear, strict instructions.  After her death, at a time determined by me, I was to give the diary to you.  She specifically said it was to go to Gino and no one else.”

            “I see...”

“No one has ever opened that book since she locked it closed.  Even I have no idea what’s inside of it.  But when your brother Marco visited me recently and began asking questions about your mother, I knew it was time to deliver this to you as I had promised.”

“And what about her other son?”

“I have no idea what happened to the boy after she gave birth to him.  I never saw him again and she never spoke of him again.  She said everything that you would need to know about him -- and other things -- would be found in there.”

“What kinds of things was Marco asking?”

“Questions about your mother and the affair.  I provided as little information as possible. As I promised your mother.”

“Is there a key to this?”

“She destroyed it,” Concetta said.  “She said you’d have to break it open; that way you’d know no one else had ever been in it.”

Marco ran his fingers over the book’s lock.  “Mom was certainly clever, wasn’t she?”

“Gino, please remember this.  That book is like Pandora’s Box.  Once you open it, you may learn things about your mother that you never knew.  And your family as well.  Whether or not you choose to open it is entirely up to you.  I promised my sister that I’d deliver it to you and I have.  Be careful and think long and hard before you break that lock.”

“Of course, Aunt Connie.  I understand.”

“Good, my boy.  Now, I have done what I came to do.  And I need to rest before my trip back to Rome tomorrow.”

“Yes,” Marco said.  “And you’re sure you don’t want to see anyone else while you’re here?  Even just to say hello to Marco or my father?”

“No one must ever know I was here.”

“I understand,” Marco said, standing up.  “Your secret is safe with me.  Is there anything else I can get you before I go?”

“No, dear.  I just want to rest now.”

“I’ll go then.  Thank you so much for this conversation.  And the diary.”  Marco kissed his aunt.  “I’ll be back to drive you to the airport in the morning.”

“Thank you, Gino,” Concetta said.  “And remember what I told you about opening that book.”

Marco nodded and then left the room.  Once in the hotel hallway, he looked at the diary and smiled wildly.  Then he headed to the elevator.

JAKE BIONDI

Author of the popular BOYSTOWN series

Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, Jake Biondi fell in love with "The Windy City" at an early age.  He left the Chicago area for four years to attend the University of Notre Dame, from which he graduated with degrees in English and Business.  He was awarded the university’s prestigious William Mitchell Award for Playwriting.  Upon graduating from Notre Dame, Biondi returned to Chicago where he attended and graduated from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.   He has been living in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood for over 20 years.

While studying literature, Biondi became a huge fan of Charles Dickens whose novels were originally released in installments, each ending in a cliffhanger to keep readers coming back for more.  Because of his love of those novels as well as television dramas such as Dynasty, Knots Landing, Dallas, and Revenge, Jake Biondi decided to create a serialized saga for contemporary audiences.  Thus, the BOYSTOWN series was born.

Biondi began BOYSTOWN in June of 2013 as an online story and intended to release one "episode" online per month, each ending in a cliffhanger. The story became so popular -- and the online reading audience grew so quickly -- that people from all over the country began to email him demanding to know what happened to their favorite characters and wanting the episodes to be released faster.  They also had suggestions for future storylines.  Excited by and grateful for his readers’ responses to BOYSTOWN, Biondi began to write and release installments more quickly.

In November of 2013, Biondi moved BOYSTOWN offline and published the first ten installments in book form as BOYSTOWN Season One.  The book became an international hit, with fans all over the globe clamoring for more.  BOYSTOWN Season Two was published in July of 2014 and BOYSTOWN Season Three was released on May 1, 2015.

Because of the popularity of the book series, fans have suggested that BOYSTOWN be turned into a television series.  Biondi recently completed the TV scripts for the first season of BOYSTOWN and hopes to bring the series to television in the very near future.

Moment Of Clarity-Moment In Time Series-Book 3 by Karen Stivali! It is recommended to read the series in order!

When Collin and Tanner spent summer together on Fire Island, it was amazing and they got really close. Now they're back in their uptight college town and the challenges they once faced are back full force. Collins brother Sean came to their rescue when they most needed it but when word got out about their relationship is when things got very messy with family and friends. Collins relationship with Tanner becomes a huge problem in his brothers custody battle and Tanner also has some issues with Wendy. Now Collin is thinking that maybe the people he loves will be better off without him.

It was really nice to see Collin re-connect with his brother Sean even though his sexuality comes to be an impact on Sean's life. I just love the sexual and romantic connection that Collin and Tanner have as its creates a beautiful love story. The way these characters have grown from book one to the current novel is quite beautiful and very organic. The sub-characters add so much to the series and makes for a very realistic and brilliantly written story.

The fact that Tanners mom was so open and accepting of his sexuality and then Collins family are so against his sexuality, brings a raw and honest view to what these characters face and what so many gay men face. Karen Stivali completely nailed the honesty in such a realistic way and was beautifully told. I have loved all the books in this series and the author doesn't disappoint at all with Moment Of Clarity! I completely fell for Collin and Tanner and you will too. I highly recommend this novel as well as the entire series.....Moments In Time by Karen Stivali!!

EXCERPT ONE – MOMENT OF CLARITY - STIVALI

Between classes, my work at Gino’s, Tanner’s shifts at the bookstore, and commuting back and forth to Sean’s house, Tanner and I were busier than we’d ever been. I always knew it was more convenient to live on campus, but I had no idea what a hassle it was to make the added drive daily. By the time we got to Sean’s, had dinner, spent time with the girls, and did some studying, we were exhausted.

I hadn’t touched Tanner for yet another week, and I didn’t think I’d last the day without changing that. Tanner must have felt the same. I’d seen the looks he’d been throwing me, particularly the night before while we were watching a movie together, but I wasn’t about to do anything with Sean and the kids in the house. I didn’t care that the doors locked. It didn’t feel right. And I didn’t trust either of us to be quiet enough. Especially since it had been so long.

Sean handed me the last dirty dish to load into the dishwasher while Tanner put the juice and milk in the fridge.

“I’m gonna run to the grocery store while the kids are at preschool. Any requests?” Sean asked, grabbing his wallet off the counter and shoving it in his pocket.

“If you get a can of crushed tomatoes and some spaghetti, I’ll cook.”

“Thanks. The kids loved that the other night. Anything else?”

I tried to think but couldn’t. All that registered in my brain was that Sean was going out. Tanner and I would be alone in the house. My cock was totally onboard with this thought and already looking for an escape plan from my pants.

“I think that’ll do it. Tanner, you need anything?”

Tanner looked up from wiping off the kitchen tables. His pupils were huge. I knew that look. I loved that look. He was thinking the same thing I was. My cock twitched in anticipation.

“I’m good,” Tanner said, tossing the rag on the counter.

“Okay, then.” Sean headed for the door. “It’s my turn to drive carpool home, so I’ll probably take the kids to Mickey D’s for happy meals. Lock up if you both leave, okay?”

“Sure.” My heart raced as I watched Sean trot down the back porch steps. I held my breath, listening as the car door slammed, the engine revved, and the tires crunched down the gravel driveway.

I turned to look at Tanner, but before I could even focus my eyes, he was on me. Hands on either side of my face, body pressed up against mine, lips prying mine open, tongue—oh, God, I’d missed that tongue—swirling in circles with mine.

Groaning, I grabbed his ass and tugged him closer. I needed to feel as much of him as possible. All of him. Immediately, if not sooner.

EXCERPT TWO – MOMENT OF CLARITY – STIVALI

It took me four hours to finish writing my paper, probably in part because I kept stopping to check my phone. I’d been hoping for an update from Sean even though I knew that wasn’t likely. It was the weekend, and any more info from his lawyer probably wouldn’t arrive until Monday. I also kept thinking maybe we’d hear something from Housing, but so far, silence.

After I’d saved my document, I went in search of Tanner. He’d finished his work an hour earlier and said he’d be reading in one of the lounges. I found him in one of the alcoves, sprawled on a big couch under one of the heavily leaded windows. An open book lay tented on his chest—Dostoevsky’s short stories. His eyes were closed, those thick black lashes casting shadows on his cheekbones.

I approached slowly, wanting the time to keep looking. Tanner hadn’t had a haircut in weeks. Silky dark bangs fell across his forehead, begging for my fingers to sweep them off his face. Perfect lips, ever so slightly parted, looking desperately in need of a kiss. My gaze passed lower, taking in his long strong fingers as they rested on the book, his narrow waist, slim hips. I struggled to swallow. My cock enjoyed the show with me, not so silently encouraging me to climb on top of Tanner, toss that book aside, grind against him….

Tanner’s eyelids fluttered open, and he shook his head, craning his neck to look around. He yawned and stretched as he sat up. “What time is it?”

“Little after ten.” I sat next to him, needing to be close to him. He smelled warm and sweet. I breathed in, taking in as much of his scent as possible. God, I missed that. Sleeping apart for two weeks had me waking in the middle of the night craving him—his touch, his smell, his taste—all of him.

My thigh knocked into his, and he pressed back against me. “You wanna get out of here?”

I nodded, wanting to be anywhere as long as he was there too.

A light rain had started to fall, so we half jogged to the Towers.

“What do you suppose is going on in Wendy’s room?” I asked as we rode the elevator.

Tanner brushed rain droplets off his backpack. The elevator dinged and opened. “Guess we’re about to find out.”

Wendy’s door was open. Music and voices filled the hallway, and as we approached the room, a purple bra came flying out, followed by the sound of drunken laughter and cheering.

Tanner caught the elevator door just before it closed. “What do you say we go for a drive instead?”

“I say that’s the best offer I’ve had in weeks.”

About the author

Karen Stivali is a prolific writer, compulsive baker and chocoholic with a penchant for books, movies, and fictional British men. She’s also the multiple award-winning author of contemporary and erotic romances. Her lifelong fascination with people has led her to careers ranging from hand-drawn animator, to party planner, to marriage and family counselor, but writing has always been her passion. Karen enjoys nothing more than following her characters on their journey toward love. Whether the couples are m/f or m/m, it’s guaranteed that Karen’s novels are filled with food, friendship, love, and smoking hot sex—all the best things in life.

When Karen isn’t writing (and often when she is), she can be found on Twitter attempting witty banter and detailing the antics of her fruit-loving cat, BadKitteh. She loves to hear from readers (and other writers), so don’t hesitate to contact/follow/like her at:

The Keith Milano Fund Banner
An amazing group of authors have agreed to donate a portion of their May 2015 books sales to the Keith Milano Memorial Fund at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
The Keith Milano Memorial Fund was established to help raise awareness about the devastating and deadly disease that is mental illness. Our hope is that by having the strength to say that Keith was “Bipolar” we can strip away the stigma.
If anyone wishes to make a direct donation to the Keith Milano Memorial Fund they can do that HERE.
Our goal is to raise awareness about mental illness and to get people talking…..
Suicide is the second leading cause of death for ages 10-24; the US loses 22 Vets a day to suicide, more than they lose in combat; there is one death by suicide in the US every 13 minutes. These statistics are scary but together we can work to make a difference!

Personal Message from Denise Milano Sprung: When Keith passed away, I made a promise to myself that he would not go quietly nor would he be forgotten. It is with the help of all of you that 10 years later, I am able to keep this promise and most of all to be able to help others who may be suffering in silence.

Thank you does not seem like enough. So please know that from the bottom of my heart to the depths of my soul, every one-click of these books helps others and continues to reduce the stigma that is associated with mental illness. THANK YOU for all you do and for spreading the word and for opening your hearts to help others.
