Eli has had a crush on Eli since he was 14 years old, but now that crush has turned into lust and very soon into love. However, Seth is totally confused with it all, especially as he can't decide if he is straight, bi or gay. He will admit to himself that he is attracted to Eli, but he is so unsure of himself, that he tells Eli that nothing can happen, as he is so much older than Eli - there is actually 8 years difference between the two men - and that friends is all they will be.
Eli tries one last time to get through to Seth to no avail, and with Seths rejection still ringing in his ears, he goes away to College, but decides that if friendship is all they can have, then he would throw himself into college life, and explore his options of a boyfriend there.
While Eli is away, Seth realises with each home visit Eli makes during the holidays, that he really does miss him being around, Eli seems to be a calming influence on Seth, and also great company. It is around now that Seth begins to question himself if he was right to push Eli away,
I love this story, it spanned over many years, and you always knew both Eli and Seth's feelings. I was crying with laughter at some of the mishaps at the weddings, especially the one where Eli went with Seth and they were retrieving fish from bowls.......
This is the first time I have heard this narrator Alexander Collins, and I hope to hear more from him, his voice also pulled me into this story, and I could honestly listen to his voice again and again.
