GMR 5 Star Review-Paul
As the sole offspring of the Democratic United States president and his political operative wife, Trevor Moga was raised in an environment driven by the election cycle. During childhood, he fantasized about living in a made-for-television family, and as an adult, he rejected all things politics and built a highly successful career as far from his parents as possible.
Newly elected congressman Ford Hollingsworth is Republican royalty. The grandson of a revered governor and son of a respected senator, he was bred to value faith, family, and the goal of seeing a Hollingsworth in the White House.
When Trevor and Ford meet, sparks fly and a strong friendship is formed. But can the billionaire son of a Democratic president build a family with the congressman son of a Republican senator? Forget politics, love makes strange bedfellows.

Ford the son of a senator is gay but very much in the closet due to his father being a high respected republican and himself being the newly elected congressman. Ford knows that he can't live a life that he wants so he has come to the terms with it. Then one night he meets this hot guy in a bar and goes home with him and then to the horror he realizes its the son of the United States President and then he see's his life flashing in front of him. Trevor reassures him that's he's safe . How does the son of the Democrat President and the son of the Republican Senator think this will work out? Well in total secret and very quietly but that's not always possible.
I loved the blurb of CC's latest novel so much that I was instantly hooked. She has created such complex and high intriguing characters such as Trevor and Ford. I enjoyed his mother even though she was so politically driven and very protective of the presidential family but she still managed to show some love for her son. There is a lot of hot gay sex that adds to the story so brilliantly. Not being an american gave me a glimpse into the USA political machine and CC had a great mixture of politics, love, sex and drama. I give a lot of credit to the author by creating a story of two very strong-willed and powerful political families, one Democrat and one Republican and they both turned out to be the MC of the story. She delves into a Democrat/Republican gay love story and shows the most realistic view of this complicated relationship.
CC's writing is more brilliant than ever before and I love how she took a chance on something quite different from what she normally writes about and it was a huge success. The author takes you on a beautiful ride through the political world and what it means to be together against all odds and the huge sacrifice for pure love. I completely loved this story and I couldn't recommend it enough! Everyone needs to read Strange Bedfellows by Cardeno C!!!

“Legs up,” Trevor said as he lifted Ford’s calves.
Dark blue eyes peered up at him. “I want your feet on the bed, your legs spread, and your ass open.”
Polished in public, tender in private, and filthy in bed—every part of Trevor called to Ford. He could never refuse Trevor, he didn’t want to, but sometimes the words Trevor chose, the things he asked Ford to do, made his cheeks heat and his heart race. Of course his level of embarrassment was outmatched ten- fold by his level of arousal.
“Trevor,” he said brokenly.
“Show me your hole, Ford.” Trevor pushed Ford’s legs back until his feet were on the mattress. “I want to eat you out.”
With a whimper, Ford complied, lying back on the bed, dropping his knees open, and tilting his hips up.
“There you go.” His voice gravelly, Trevor skimmed one fingertip across the ridged skin of Ford’s pucker. “Going to make you scream.”
