Length: 1hr 19mins

Revisiting the characters from ’Til Death Do Us Part, Henry and Sam Miller-Greene are enjoying life in the summer after Henry’s rescue from a small South Pacific island, where Henry and three others were marooned.

Henry and Sam thought adopting Aiden—a child with whom Henry’d been stranded—would be smooth sailing. Matters are complicated by the public nature of their rescue that has turned the survivors into overnight celebrities. Anti-gay fueled animus rears its ugly head in the blogosphere, causing concerns over the impact libelous rumors might have on Aiden.

Their nightmare separation behind them, Henry and Sam are anxious to renew both the intensity of their former intimacies—now hampered by having a curious and still apprehensive child sharing their home—and their commitment to one another.

This is a new to me author and narrator, and to be honest, I wasn't sure about this one - but I took the chance and was glad that I did.

In 'Til Death Do Us Part - we meet Sam and Henry, and you would think that they have it all together, until the fateful day when Henry is in a plane crash.  Omg, you could really get the emotional side of this as people were battling to get out of the plane, and Henry's reaction when he is handed a child as he escapes the wreckage.  Even more so, when news of the plane crash reaches Sam, especially as the reports say there was no survivors.

In actual fact, there were survivors - Henry, two other men and the child that was handed to Henry.  They manage to get to an island, and then the three men must work together to find shelter and food to survive.

I have to say, this part of the story, you will be laughing at some parts, especially with the child and Henry - even more so that the child has decided that Henry is the one that he belongs to.  But you will also be feeling so sad for Sam, as you go through everything with him when he thinks Henry is dead.

For years the men and child live together on the island, and it is sheer fluke that they are spotted, and you really feel for them all, I think they had all decided that it was never going to happen.  It was even worse for Sam though, as he was just getting his life on track and even so far as getting engaged - to then be told that they believed Henry was alive.

It was then a total upheaval for them all, Henry couldn't wait to get back home to Sam, but Sam really had to decide who he wanted to be with.....  and he did finally choose Henry.

In From This Day Forward, it is then Henry, Sam and Aiden (the child) all learning to live together, but also where Henry and Sam find adopting Aiden legally has more than a few problems, and that is without all the changes happening in their lives.

I really did enjoy this audio, and I really liked this narrator too.  I haven't heard any other audio by him, but I will be looking.
