Joshua is away studying until he receives a call and is summoned back to his home and his mom. When he arrives there, he is surprised and to me somewhat dismayed to see the man of his dreams that he has been trying to forget, but hasn't been able to.
Samuel was also not sure what to say or do when faced with Joshua, but before he has a chance of saying too much Joshua does his usual when things are getting to much, and runs out of the house. I think this is more due to the fact that he may have decided that the man of his dreams is actually dating his mom!!
Somehow, the two of them manage to meet and talk, and things seem to progress a lot further, but not without more than a few obstacles along the way. Now enter an interfering mom and also an even worse brother and father and the scene is set.
Do Joshua and Samuel have any chance of making things work. Does Samuel even believe that things can work between the two of them or he still in the mindset of teacher and student, even though it has been three years, and Joshua is no longer his student.
This is one book where you are really are rooting for things to succeed with the main characters, but things happen that you are not expecting, and nothing is cut and dried. I wish the book has been longer, so you could know what happens next, just to bring everything to the perfect conclusion.
