I love the character of Reg, as he is so down to earth, what you see if what you get! Jeremy on the other hand, although being a well renowned musician, he has lived a sheltered life.
When the two meet, Jeremy gets it into his head that Reg is only being nice to him because of who he is, and this could not be farthest from the truth. Reg simply enjoys being with Jeremy, and to me it seemed Jeremy liked being with Reg. So much so, that Jeremy asks Reg to go on tour with him and play the part of his boyfriend.
It all starts with friendship between the two, and Jeremy is slowly beginning to realise that Reg is not with him for any other reason than he likes being with him, and then the barriers that Jeremy so carefully erected are coming down.
As the two grow closer, to me it becomes obvious that Jeremy has never really had anyone who truly enjoyed being with him, quirks and all. Reg is also beginning to feel very protective of Jeremy and he is somewhat angered by all the extras that are being put on Jeremy, plus there is also a leak somewhere so Jeremy never has time to be just himself.
It then becomes obvious that Reg is starting to care very deeply for Jeremy, but Jeremy isn’t sure what he is feeling, so it is up to Reg to show him what love is all about, and the joys of being intimate with someone. They are as different as chalk and cheese, but it seems like Reg manages to ground Jeremy, and very soon Jeremy starts turning to Reg for comfort more and more.
Narrator Review:
I could honestly listen to this audio all day long - I love the voice of Charlie David, and will confess to listening to this audio twice, just to hear his voice again (as well as an awesome story). There was something about his voice that just pulled you right into the story, and I hope to hear more from him in the future.
