I totally loved this book from the first page, and I am so glad that rather than start reading as I went to bed, I waited until the following morning to start - as I didn't stop until I had finished.
This is a book that shows you two men, from totally different backgrounds, who are both loners, although one is not by choice. They meet through Ted's work as an artist, and at first it seems like nothing will happen.
Things change, and Anderson and Ted meet again, and this time seem to be going somewhere with their budding relationship. However, there are always demons around, but in this book they were not from their past, but from the present.
Now we come across an angry preacher, who will shock you in more ways than one. Now add in an act of God, and who knows what will happen next - but I guarantee it will not be what you think will happen.
I am not going to spoil things and say what happens, but what I will say is that this is a book where once you start reading, you will find it hard to put down.
