I have to say Kale Williams is not a narrator that heard of until the first audio in this series, but he had done brilliantly on this second one too. I love his voices for Luke and Jordan, and I hope he also narrates the final book in the series too.
You will just fall in love with both Luke and Jordan - but for completely different reasons. Lucas is quite the complicated man, although he is also a very angry man, who still have to deal with his past. Jordan, you can understand being like he is, as he has lost his lover in a senseless killing, and he is finding it very hard to cope and was now reliant on prescription medication and alcohol.
The two meet as Lucas works for a company that is trying to fulfil the wishes of Jordans dead lover, but they only meet when Luke more or less threatens Jordan - man do they not seem to like each other when they first meet!!
The two meet again and again, and then things seem to change between the two of them, and it was all going well - until Luke realises that Jordan has been lying to him about his beating his addiction - at this time, I was getting mighty frustrated with Jordan, as you could see what he was doing and knew what would happen, but could nothing to prevent it all happening.
However, Luke has some substitute mother influences in his life, and they straight talk to him, and give him other things to think about, and he considers giving Jordan a second chance. Jordan himself is totally devastated about losing Luke and doesn't know what to do to get him back - if he can.
There is then an incident, that brings things home to both Jordan and Luke, and this may be the wake up call that they both need to actually be honest with other about their feelings. Is it too late for them both?? Will they actually be totally honest with each other??
If you loved the first audio in this series, you will really enjoy this one too. Once I began listening, I really didn't want to stop, and only did once when my iPod decided to shut down as it had run out of power. I highly recommend this series on audio.
