First, let me say thanks for hosting the Wicked Men blog tour. The creation of this lengthy novel was quite an adventure. Throughout the course of writing each episode, readers were offered the opportunity to give their input and suggestions on how they thought the story should move along. And I threw in a few twists and surprises along the way, just to keep them on their toes. The Wicked Men blitz features seven unique excerpts, so don’t miss any. And don’t forget to enter the giveaway!

Sid Rivers and Jack Brown are two sides of the same coin. One is a lawyer with his own firm and dreams of money and power; the other is a criminal with a lengthy record and a quest for vengeance. When they meet, sparks fly. But was their meeting an accident? Or was it planned by the billionaires who want to control their destiny?

The Love of Wicked Men is an erotic journey into the underbelly of the legal profession, the corporate culture of profit-at-any-cost, and the secret world of industrial espionage.

EPISODE 1:

I have to say that I have never started a book hating a character as much as I dislike Sid Rivers. He is someone who cared for nobody except himself, and this could well be his downfall.

Jack Brown is someone who is hell bent on revenge, and nothing will make him change his course of total revenge.

Jack and Sid actually meet, when Jack is in court, and Sid is there as a witness, but in the end Instead of saying what actually happened, Sid ensured that Jack was released.

Sid seems to care little for others, and this is shown even more when he "deflowers" a closeted shy guy in a hotel room, and also cruises the streets looking for a hot piece of ass he can take home and totally dominate.

Sid is then actually getting himself involved in something really shady, and unbeknown to him, Jack is following his every move. Jack always seems to be around when you least expect it, and at one point Sid wakes in Jacks bed with no idea how he got there....

Was the meeting between Sid and Jack just co-incidental?? What does Jack actually want from Sid?? Is it to just be fuck buddies or does he have a hidden agenda?? Hmmmm, time will tell.

EPISODE 2:

Sid is now turning very secretive, especially when someone he uses to find information is telling him that things are not as they seem - but to me it comes over that Sid is more interested in the money he can make, rather than anything happening to him.

Although Sid is half of a partnership at the firm, he decides not to tell his partner everything about what he is working on, and to me this makes Sid even more dangerous.

Jack, you learn a bit more about, and you realise that things are not always as they seem.

Sid and Jack are still dancing around their attraction to each other, and each thinks they are playing the other, and that they have the upper hand.

Finally it seems like they are finally going to meet and stop all this dancing around each other, but Sid has another plan in place, to me to try and make Jack jealous....

Do Jack and Sid actually get down and dirty, or has Sid totally blown his chances??

EPISODE 3:

Wow, now we get to see more players in the teams, and there seems to be more than I originally thought!!

Sid, to me, is hopefully going to get his comeuppance, as he really is totally arrogant, and he refuses to listen to any warnings that are given to him. I think I am getting to dislike how he treats people even more!!

However, when someone who is working for Sid rings him with some disturbing information, it seems like finally he realises that things are not as he first thought.

Jack is also slowly starting to realise that there is something else happening…. It is not just Sid or Jack trying to find information, it seems like there is somebody else interested in what they are doing. Jack realises that his cover he has in place in the virtual world is now not as it should have been….

Sid's partner Larry is now starting to realise that Sid is hiding something, and is now demanding answers to questions, as it is just not Sid that will be affected by the fallout – it is the whole firm in possible jeopardy. However, one person that works for Sid and Larry may not actually be as loyal as they think…..

I am also really beginning to love Jack in the book, he has a hidden soft side that shows itself in episode 3, when he goes visiting someone….. and who it is will surprise you…

EPISODE 4:

Well, things are really heating up now….. more secrets are coming out and to be honest you are now thinking watch out Sid, you are really going to end up on the wrong side of the law here. Sid is trusting people that now you can see should not be trusted at all.

The plot is certainly twisting and turning now, and I for one cannot put the book down. You think you know what is happening, and then all of a sudden you are “huh… how did that happen??!!”…..

I am actually starting to feel a bit sorry for Sid now, as it now Larry has his own agenda on things, and these do not include Sid…. and Sid has no idea.

Jack for some reason now has a soft spot for Sid, and is now determined to try and save Sid from himself. It did cause me to chuckle at times, at what Jack did to Sid.... and some was hot reading too. You also get an understanding of why Sid acts like he does.

However, things get worse than ever for Sid when he returns home.

What does Larry decide to do?? What has happened to Sid on his return home?? Will Jack do anything stupid to ensure that Sid is safe??

EPISODE 5:

Well, what an eventful start to this episode. Sid is really in deep trouble, but can anyone actually save him? Who has taken Sid, and what do they want with him?

Sid wakes in hospital with no clue as to who saved him, and when he is finally able to have visitors, Larry's true intentions come to life - and Sid is left full of rage. It looks like Sid is out of his partnership with Larry, but Sid is not one to go down without a fight.

You also learn more about Jack in this episode and his past - which has been his motivation for all the things he has done.

Events start happening one after the other, and you realise that you have no idea who the main player is in all of this.....

What a cliff-hanger at the end concerning both Sid and Jack - and this is not someone you would have thought of considering having a part in any of it.

EPISODE 6:

All I can say is WOW !! I am finding it hard to write a review about this episode, as I do not want to give anything away on this story.

The author has written even more twists and turns into the story, and even more characters in the book are not who they seemed to be in the earlier episodes. It is full of real surprises, and because of this, this book has now become a can't put down until you finish, as you just know things are not going to be as straight forward as it should be.

I can honestly recommend this book, it is fast paced, but you always know what is happening.... well as much as the author gives away at a given time!!

At the end of the book, it says should there be a Season Two, and I for one would love there to be another book, especially if it is as fast paced as this one.

Sid Rivers sat in his law office in Huntsville, Alabama listening to his partner, Larry Dunn, bitch about the criminal trial they’d just come in from. Larry was whining like it was a major case that would affect the profits of their firm, and he was starting to piss Sid off. Rivers & Dunn had nothing to do with criminal law. There’s wasn’t enough money in it for Sid to be happy, and certainly not enough aptitude required to keep him interested.

“He stabbed you.” Larry’s volume was low, but punctuated with anger in Sid’s typically quiet office.

Sid lifted his elbow slightly, tilted his well-muscled arm away from his body and looked down at his bicep. There was a small scar just below the cuff of his tailored short sleeve shirt. It was less than an inch and would easily escape notice if you didn’t know it was there. Certainly no one would see it with his suit coat on.

Sid shook his head, disagreeing. “He just nicked me. He could’ve stabbed me if he really wanted to. It was an accident. He turned with the knife in his hand. He was as surprised as I was.”

“Accident? He was robbing the goddamn store.”

“And he looked so hot doing it,” Sid murmured with a smile. He leaned back in his chair; his hands interlocked behind his head, and blew out a breath full of unadulterated lust, his eyes immediately distant.

Sid didn’t know what happened, not really. He’d stopped to buy a pack of mints and when his eyes connected with Jack Brown, he felt an electric jolt of lust he hadn’t grappled with since college. By the look in Jack’s eyes, Sid thought he’d felt it too. Neither of them had even noticed the small cut on Sid’s arm until his shirt tinged red.

“You should’ve seen how his arms bulged while he was waving that knife around…”

Larry threw his hands up. “It’s not just your fucking funeral, you know? We’re not in college anymore. You’re not the anti-jock all the flaming little queer boys are lusting after. That was twenty years ago.”

Sid looked at his law partner for the first time. “What’s your problem?”

“You just committed perjury. That’s my fucking problem,” Larry barked across Sid’s desk. “You could be disbarred if anyone ever found out. We could lose everything.”

“Perjury?” Sid rose from his chair and went to the private bar, pouring a glass of cognac. He swirled it in the glass for a moment, watching the liquid move. This was the Assistant DA’s fault, not his. “I didn’t pick him out in a lineup. I never identified him except in a verbal description.” Sid countered. “Patty should’ve asked me to identify him before she put me on the stand. That’s her fault. She didn’t do her follow-up. I can’t help it if she hasn’t learned how to do her job after ten years as ADA.”

“You lied because you want to fuck him.”

About the Author

Great stories should not depend on gender or sexual preference of a character, but instead upon the strength of the characters and the honesty and urgency of the story.

Brandon Shire proves he understands the complexity of writing LGBT fiction from two very different viewpoints – serious and smexy. His serious fiction is written for those who enjoy a book, which explores life’s darker elements in a more literary form, while the smexy fiction is for those who enjoy a graphically erotic romance.

Regardless of the differentiation above, Brandon writes for people who enjoy being challenged, and for those who strive to understand situations they don’t typically encounter. He pens raw, emotional stories about characters, which readers will either love or love to hate.

Life and love are pretty damned special, but neither is always perfect. Life can be painful, and real love hard to find. Brandon’s fiction is an exploration of the (sometimes) arduous search for the happiness we all desire.

About the Book Hidden WolfTitle: The Hidden Wolf Series: Sapphire Ranch Wolves – Book Two Author: Sue Brown Publisher: Love Lane Books Cover Artist: Meredith Russell Length: 32,700 words Release Date: 22nd May, 2015 Blurb: Sheriff Milo Clarke has met his mate, Eli Watkins, and now they're conducting a long distance relationship while Eli runs Cavalry, the security firm protecting Joe and Cal at the Sapphire Ranch from the hunters. Picture
The Hidden Wolf (Sapphire Ranch Wolves book 2) by Sue Brown!!!

Sheriff Milo and his mate Eli, are in a long-distance relationship which they're finding quite challenging. Eli is running the Calvary which is a security firm. Eli, Milo and his wolf are having a difficult time with being so far from each other and the fact that Milo won't shift is not making it any easier for the guys.

I love the connection between Milo and Eli right from the start it was so cool how Eli had no problems being with the wolf. I love the twist that they communicate without speaking as it added a great paranormal element to the story. I felt bad for Milo for not telling his staff he's gay as it's causing himself some internal turmoil but Eli patiently stands by his mates side.

I enjoyed the sub-characters of Cal and Joe. I was like, oh great the wolf shifter hunters and they are still on the hunt for Cal. Joe the beautiful character he is, won't let anything happen to his mate but things are getting too dangerous for them so they seek protection. I really hope there's a third book as this story didn't have as much detail about Milo and Eli's relationship and somethings are left unanswered.

I really enjoyed this paranormal shifter novel by Sue Brown and she never disappoints. How she takes the reader into a world of shifters and makes it so realistic is basically some great writing. Her eye for detail was so spot on and really puts you into this amazing paranormal world. I love the main characters of Milo and Eli and how they were developed so brilliantly that I instantly felt a connection with them. This was a fun and beautiful story and it flows so beautifully that I was sad when it was over. I recommend....The Hidden Wolf by Sue Brown to anyone who loves a good paranormal M/M shifter novel. You won't be disappointed at all!!!!

Excerpt Sheriff Milo Clarke leaned against the kitchen cabinets as he watched Eli Watkins and his team, the Calvary, remove the remains of Randy Streerson from the kitchen of Sapphire Ranch. He’d offered to help and been told firmly to stay the hell out of their way as they committed a felony. Staying to one side was a damned sensible move. What used to be Randy Streerson, the head of a group of hunters that pursued and killed shifters, now covered the kitchen walls, floor, and dripped from the ceiling after young shifter Callum Pope shot him with one of the hunter’s bullets. Cal was a distant shifter relative of Milo’s. His father had been related to Milo’s mother. Cal’s father and two elder brothers had been killed by a band of hunters led by the Streerson family. The pack had splintered in an effort to survive, and Cal had turned up on Sapphire Ranch after running hundreds of miles to get away from the hunters, only to discover the owner of the ranch was his mate. A lot had happened in a few days. Eli’s men took away what remained of the body and now they scrubbed the kitchen, surprisingly efficient. Milo didn’t have to be a cop to know this wasn’t the first time the Cavalry had cleaned away evidence that a murder had taken place. He was stuck between duty and likely survival. On one hand he’d witnessed the struggle between Cal and Streerson for control of the gun before Cal had pulled the trigger. On the other… How the hell would he explain to his deputies what had just taken place? They would want to know where he’d been hiding for the past few days, why he’d been lying to them, who the victim—who was no fucking victim—was, and what the hell was a shifter? He was a shifter. At least a half-shifter. His mother had been a werewolf and Milo could change, he just chose not to. Instead he lived among the humans as a sheriff and hadn’t given in to that side of him for over five years except for one glorious moment a few days ago. Milo tried not to think about it even as his wolf grumbled inside. Milo watched the team—at least he watched Eli. His whole attention was focused on the dark-haired man. Just watching him made his mouth dry and his dick hard. From the second Milo had shifted to prove the existence of werewolves to Eli and his assistant Ross, he’d realized that Eli was his mate. Unable to resist, he’d trotted up to Eli and laid his head on his lap. Tentatively Eli had stroked his head, and Milo leaned into the caress, wanting Eli to touch him more. Eli filled his wolf senses. He smelled woodsy with a touch of citrus. He smelled good. “Good doggy,” Eli had murmured. Doggy? Milo gave a low growl at the insult, grinning in wolfy satisfaction as Eli snatched his hand back. He wouldn’t have hurt him—much. And Eli had seemed equally drawn to him, finding it hard to take his eyes off Milo, even as they’d talked strategy with Joe, Cal’s mate and the owner of Sapphire Ranch. But they hadn’t gone near each other, hadn’t touched each other at all beyond that one brief contact. Milo had been relieved because they had needed to focus their minds, not their dicks, to defeat the hunters. Relieved—and frustrated beyond belief to have his mate so close and not be able to touch him. There was another issue. They hadn’t connected telepathically. Milo had thought that happened immediately. But he was only a half-shifter, with limited shifter abilities in his human form, and Eli was a human. What would happen if they didn’t connect? Could they walk away from each other? It would make life so much simpler. Milo caught Eli frowning at him, and he looked away, feeling guilty. Eli didn’t need to know. They hadn’t connected. He need never know. Milo’s wolf howled inside him at the thought of walking away from his mate, and for once Milo didn’t try to hush him. The thought hurt his human side just as much. But Milo had spent his whole life hiding his true nature, and now, through no fault of his own, everything he’d worked to hide was liable to be exposed. Among humans he hid the fact he was half-shifter. Around shifters he tried hard to fit in, even though his human side affected his wolf senses. And with both communities he hid the fact he was gay. Milo had spent his whole life in hiding and with one phone call Joe had exposed him to humans—both as shifter and as gay. He wasn’t fucking ready for it. And didn’t that suck?   About the Author Author picSue Brown is owned by her dog and two children. When she isn't following their orders, she can be found plotting at her laptop. Duncan has a secret fantasy, but is Tyler the right man for the job?

Tyler’s new policeman boyfriend, Duncan, is gorgeous. Tall, broad, and über-masculine, he’s the epitome of the dominant top—in appearance at least.

When they discuss their sexual fantasies, Duncan confesses to a secret desire that surprises Tyler. Luckily for Duncan, Tyler’s happy to oblige and is determined to give Duncan a night to remember.

Picture
Picture
Duncan is a man that I think we would all droll over..... he tall, broad shouldered, truly the total alpha male...... or is he??

Tyler is totally taken with Duncan, as although he is vers, he is always the bottom in their new relationship, but he doesn't seem to mind this - however he does start having some really x-rated hot fantasies about Duncan, but with Duncan being on the receiving end!!

Laying in bed one evening, basking in the afterglow of a wonderful orgasm, Tyler decides small talk is in order, and asks Duncan is he has any fantasies.... when Duncan hesitates in answering, Tyler quickly tells him some of his fantasies.

Duncan when literally whispers his fantasy, and Tyler is shocked by secretly pleased when he hears it....

Is Tyler able to fulfil Duncans fantasy???

I have to say that this book was  a very hot quick read - the sex scenes in this book are scorching.  However, the author had me thinking about how people are sterotyped due to their build..... and this just proves that the saying "Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover" is rather apt.

This will also be a quick read book that I keep on my kindle to read again and again.  You won't just read this book once.

“What do you want to talk about?”

Tyler thought for a moment then answered, “Sexual fantasies.” They hadn’t had that conversation yet. Not in any detail anyway.

“Okay.” Duncan sounded a little dubious. “You can go first then. Seeing as it’s your idea.”

“God. I have loads… where to start? Okay, one of mine is deflowering a Catholic priest or a monk or something—someone who’s taken a vow of celibacy, but in the fantasy I’m so hot they can’t resist me.” Tyler’s cheeks heated at the admission, but somehow it was easier having this conversation in the dark when Duncan couldn’t see his face. “Another is having sex in public…. Not in the park or something—that would be a bit skeevy—but somewhere people have come expecting to see it, like a live sex show. Or maybe being in porn, knowing that people were watching me and jerking off watching me fucking someone else…. That would be hot.” He stopped because Duncan hadn’t reacted. “Well? It’s your turn now.”

“I feel really boring in comparison,” Duncan said. “Your imagination is wild.”

Tyler chuckled. “Yeah… well I was a late starter in the practical side of things. Didn’t even kiss a guy till I was seventeen, so I spent a lot of time wanking in my bedroom thinking about stuff like that. Anyway, come on. There must be something you fantasise about. It doesn’t have to be something you actually want to do for real. I don’t think I’ll ever actually shag a priest or make a porno, but it’s fun thinking about it. It turns me on.” He wriggled a little closer to Duncan, pressing his thickening cock against the curve of his arse and combing his fingers through the hair on Duncan’s chest.

He waited for Duncan to respond, and the silence stretched out long enough to get a little awkward.

“Hey, you don’t have to if you’re not comfortable sharing,” Tyler said. Suddenly he was worried. Maybe Duncan was into something really kinky? Maybe Tyler didn’t want to know what his fantasies were. “Don’t worry about it, we can—”

“I think about being fucked.” Duncan’s voice was quiet, a deep rumble that vibrated in his chest under Tyler’s hand.

Surprise hit Tyler at the admission. It wasn’t what he’d expected to hear from Duncan at all. But he didn’t react, waiting for him to elaborate. But he didn’t, so Tyler prompted, “And?”

“That’s it.” Duncan took a deep breath, his ribs expanding under Tyler’s arm. “I’ve never bottomed. But I… I fantasise about it. About being fucked by another guy.”

Excerpt

I was wandering aimlessly, in the vague direction of the exit, sipping a reasonably nice coffee from a cardboard cup when I heard someone yelling. It was odd. The voice was quite soft, but very clear, and it seemed to fill the air. I realized, with some shock, it was calling my name. Why the hell was someone calling my name in Bristol train station?

I turned toward the sound and barely had the chance to register a small, running figure before it was on me. The coffee flew out of my hand and hit the floor.

I froze. For a moment my brain ground to a halt in the face of such a surreal situation. I’m not the person who drops coffee on the floor, or gets hugged in stations.

The person—whoever he or she was—threw slender arms around me and held on tight. My face was full of long black hair which smelled of lemon and utterly blinded me. What the hell was going on?

I stiffened for a moment but didn’t have much choice but to return the hug. The person definitely seemed to know me, so I could only go along for the ride. I’d find out who it was soon enough.

After what seemed like an age, the person let go and pulled back a little. Bright emerald-green eyes sparkled in an almost inhumanly beautiful face.

“Benji, you’re so beautiful. I didn’t think you’d be so beautiful. I love your hair so much. Are those your real eyes?”

“Um, well… yeah, they’re my real eyes, just not the real colour.”

Ari laughed. Yeah, it was him. It was really him—maybe. I mean, I still wasn’t sure if Ari was… a him. He was slender and small, at least two inches shorter than my five-feet-seven, and his face was entirely free from hair, in a way that suggested natural absence rather than shaving. He also seemed to have kind of feminine curves, but there was something masculine in his voice and sometimes, when he turned his head—I just don’t know what. He didn’t seem to have breasts, and he’d pressed his chest pretty hard against me, yet a furtive glance didn’t show any kind of package in his jeans. The mystery continued.

I suddenly realized Ari was still talking. I don’t think he even expected me to answer as he chatted with breathless enthusiasm.

“And I nearly didn’t catch the train. You’re taller than I thought you’d be, but did I mention how beautiful you are? We have to take a new photo for your avatar. You’re going to have to be less modest. Come on, let’s go. Do you want to share a taxi? Where are you staying? I’m in the hotel. I keep forgetting what it’s called. Oh, be careful, there’s coffee all over the floor.”

When I looked down, the first thing I noticed was Ari’s boots. They were so pretty, with silver tips on the pointed purple toes. It wasn’t the shape or colour that caught my attention as much as the absolutely killer heels. He was even smaller than I’d thought. My impression as to his gender shifted again.

“It’s mine,” I managed to stammer.

“Did you drop it?”

“Kind of. When you—”

“Oh my goodness. Did I make you drop it? I’m so sorry.”

Before I could say a word, Ari had dragged me to the nearest counter, ordered more coffee, and charmed the barista into cleaning up the spill. Then he linked our arms and guided me away.

About the author

CHERYL HEADFORD was born into a poor mining family in the South Wales Valleys. Until she was 16, the toilet was at the bottom of the garden and the bath hung on the wall. Her refrigerator was a stone slab in the pantry and there was a black lead fireplace in the kitchen. They look lovely in a museum but aren’t so much fun to clean.

Cheryl has always been a storyteller. As a child, she’d make up stories for her nieces, nephews and cousin and they’d explore the imaginary worlds she created, in play.

Later in life, Cheryl became the storyteller for a re-enactment group who traveled widely, giving a taste of life in the Iron Age. As well as having an opportunity to run around hitting people with a sword, she had an opportunity to tell stories of all kinds, sometimes of her own making, to all kinds of people. The criticism was sometimes harsh, especially from the children, but the reward enormous.

It was here she began to appreciate the power of stories and the primal need to hear them. In ancient times, the wandering bard was the only source of news, and the storyteller the heart of the village, keeping the lore and the magic alive. Although much of the magic has been lost, the stories still provide a link to the part of us that still wants to believe that it’s still there, somewhere.

In present times, Cheryl lives in a terraced house in the valleys with her son and her two cats. Her daughter has deserted her for the big city, but they’re still close. The part of her that needs to earn money is a lawyer, but the deepest, and most important part of her is a storyteller and artist, and always will be.

Tricking Chase Blurb:

As Sergeant At Arms for Devils Pride MC, Tyler “Trick” Malone’s take no prisoners reputation make him one of the most feared and respected members of the club. Unbeknownst to the MC, Trick indulges his most dangerous secret, traveling out of state twice a year to trade his cut for the whip he expertly wields at a gay dungeon.

Trick’s well organized life takes a turn when he saves bar back, and terrified submissive, Chase Ward in a Georgia dungeon. With his protector and dungeon owner dead, Chase is no longer safe in the place he once called home. With the new dungeon owners circling like sharks, he desperately begs for sanctuary in the arms of his savior.

A year later, the MC is still none the wiser that Trick’s houseboy is anything more than a grateful servant. Chase knows, if the club finds out their secret, they will kill Trick—the man he’s come to rely on for everything from the food he eats to the pleasure he feels to the security he craves. Even when gratitude turns to love, Chase never expects reciprocation from his ruthless Master. After all, the only way for them to survive is if Trick remains the heartless bastard the MC knows.

Trick is positive he has it under control and having Chase around has definitely made his life easier. There doesn’t seem to be any harm in letting Chase take a part-time job at Velvet Ropes, especially after meeting privately with the owners. That is until a bomb explodes at the club, leaving Chase fighting for his life and forcing Trick to face his long hidden feelings.

Even if Chase survives, that bomb has done more than rock the foundation of the popular leather club. It’s blown Trick and Chase’s well-guarded secret out of hiding, putting their lifestyle and their lives at

risk. Now there is only one thing Trick needs to do before the club gets them and that’s to get revenge on the person who dared to hurt his precious boy.

Authors Note: Tricking Chase is a direct spin-off of The Protector, which is book 3 in my Sizzling Miami series. Though I tried to provide enough details that it isn’t necessary to have read that book, I cannot really call this a standalone.

Warning: Tricking Chase contains an established D/s relationship, hot guys on motorcycles, an undercover DEA agent named Snake, and a few visits from fan favorite Sizzling Miami characters.

Tricking Chase (Devils Pride MC-Book 1) by Jessie G!!!

***Tricking Chase is a spin-off of The Protector-Book 3 (Sizzling Miami Series)

Tyler Malone aka Trick is one of the most feared and renowned member of Devils Pride MC. Trick has a very well constructed life but this all changes when he saves the terrified submissive, Chase Ward in a dungeon. Now that Chases owner is dead, he's not safe by any means with the vultures hovering around him trying to take Chase as their own so he has no choice but to seek the protection from the man who saved him-Trick.

In this installment we get to find out how Chase became Tricks boy, how Trick got Chase for himself and how both men entered the world of MC without getting killed. I loved the connection between Trick and Chase and how much Trick loved and would do anything to keep Chase safe, it was some beautiful writing.

I was so thankful to Jessie for adding a great and detailed glossary of the motorcycle clubs as it helped while reading the novel. I so enjoyed the writing style of this novel as it was different from other novels. Their was quite a few characters but Jessie wrote in such a way the story flowed very smoothly.

I can't describe enough how much this story affected me and the character of Chase and what he endured, just made me want to protect him. He's a beautiful man with a beautiful heart and soul and is so damaged from his past that it will completely break your heart.

The way Jessie brings her characters to life is just simply brilliant and how she comes up with these emotionally charged characters is quite amazing. There are some heavy emotional moments in this story that will move you beyond the tears. The hot and I mean hot sex scenes were some of the best I have ever read. I just loved the writing from Jessie and I think she has even topped herself with her latest work. The way she creates such emotional characters is so beautifully done. I highly recommend...Tricking Chase to EVERYONE!!!!!

R Rated Excerpt

Somewhere below, the doorbell rang and Ty sighed. Chase leaned in and licked his mouth, hoping to savor this moment for as long as possible. “Your gentle kisses always make me want more.”

Ty laughed at him. “Is there anything that doesn’t make you want more?”

“Of you? No.” Wanting was a constant state for him. When he was alone all he did was think about what they did together and when they were together all he wanted was to be as close as possible. If he was expected to go downstairs and show some restraint for Clay’s friends, he wanted more of this moment. “Perhaps a little spanking before I put my suit on?”

“You’re incorrigible.” Ty’s grin said he’d like nothing more than to bend Chase over the nearest surface and deliver a good hard spanking followed by a good hard pounding. He was totally on board with both ideas.

Without shame, he pushed his erection against Ty’s denim covered one and whispered, “Isn’t that what you like most about me?”

“It’s definitely one of your charms,” Ty mused, gripping his hips and taking his teasing nudge up to a full on grind. He was so close and the rough fabric on his bare skin felt amazing. All he needed was a minute, maybe less.

The heavy knock was like a bucket of ice and he couldn’t hold back the disappointed curse if he tried. Ty held him firm and continued the steady grind as if someone wasn’t trying to interrupt them. Just knowing that someone stood on the other side of the door while Ty worked to get them off drove him right back to the edge. Another knock had him groaning loudly.

“Seriously!” Clay demanded through the door.

One hand slid over his ass, grabbing Chase roughly and that was all it took for both of them. He cried out and that hand squeezed painfully, drawing out his orgasm until he was dizzy with it. Gasping for breath, he caught Ty’s evil smirk and laughed.

Still holding him close, Ty reached over and opened the door. Clay’s hostile glare made him laugh again. “Dress your boy, the party is starting without you.”

Ty snatched his swimsuit from Clay’s hand and pointed out, “We were having our own party up here until you interrupted us.”

“Yeah, yeah, there’s plenty of time for that later.”

“You’re getting real boring in your old age.” Before Clay could answer, Ty closed the door in his face. Chase took his suit and tugged Ty toward the adjoining bathroom, feeling lighter than he had in a long time.

"Wearer of Many Hats" is a title that was given to Jessie by a former employer some twenty years ago. This dubious distinction, along with the job description "everything is her fault", came after she fixed an electrical problem—during her interview—that the office had been having for years. After that, if anything went wrong, her coworkers immediately declared it her fault so she'd have to fix it. This position of importance inspired the owner to convert a closet into an office, thereby providing her coworkers endless opportunities to refer to her as “the girl in the closet.”

Today she is still the “Wearer of Many Hats” and her family has readily jumped on the “everything is her fault” bandwagon. Most mornings start at 5am, where she stumbles into her home office (which is step or two up from a closet) to tackle her personal email, watch gay porn and satisfy her Trivia Crack addiction. By six, she’s caffeinated and ready to take on the world. Wearing her favorite red power nightgown, she expertly designs websites, provides SEO and social media services, freelances as a bookkeeper, cooks, cleans and writes.

Writing has been the elusive, life-long goal that seemed to be getting further away as the years went by. It took 30+ years to achieve, but she’s decided that timing is everything. The world wasn’t ready for m/m romance back then, and now that it is, the girl in the closet has finally found her writing home.

Jessie is a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics and happily ever after. She’s a lover of strong secondary characters and series filled with families, biological or chosen. All are themes you'll find throughout her books.
