I have this story on ebook too, and I just love the book, so had to listen to the audio. I think out of all of Cardeno C's books, this is one of my favourites and the audio one that I will listen to again and again.
I totally loved the way that Cardeno C wrote this story, where each chapter was from one of the three MC's. Charlie "Chase" Rhodes was my favourite out of all three. There is just something about him, that makes you admire him. With all the things that happened to him, he would always pick himself up, dust himself off and start again. Scott was different altogether. To be honest I liked his character too at the beginning, but as the story of Scott and Charlie went on, I began to get angry with him on Charlie's behalf. I don't think he could see what was right in front of him, and how special Charlie was, Adan I have to admit, I totally hated. To me, he came across as extremely arrogant, and in some ways someone who thought he was better than Charlie. Oh, don't get me wrong, he did love Charlie in his own way, but just one look at Charlie would let you know that he was gay, and this seemed to embarrass Adan no end. He also didn't realise how special Charlie was until he was no longer there. Years later, Charlie is hit with another tragedy, and on top of that he finds that the two men he has ever loved, were a couple and loved each other. Both are adamant that they want Charlie in their lives, but due to previous history Charlie is totally unsure if they are being honest or not. Can Scott and Adan ever convince Charlie that they were meant to all be together?? The One Who Saves Me: Home, Book 6

This is one Cardeno C story that I do not have on my kindle, so this is my first time of hearing this story. I have to say that this is not one of my favourites.
This story is best friends to lovers, but it takes quite a while before they actually admit they love each other. They both admitted first to each other that they were gay, and were each others first serial experience. The story is done over the years that they were best friends, and I think Caleb knew he was in love with Andrew, but Andrew seemed to be oblivious to this. They were still best friends - with benefits at times - but they really led separate lives. They seemed to be growing further apart, especially as Andrew seemed to be going through all the men he could find., and as they lived in totally different places, this is not really surprising. Things finally come to a head when there are some traumatic events in Andrews life, and Caleb makes the decision to be nearer to Andrew again, but at this point I think Caleb made a mistake as Andrew seemed to grow more distant. Will they ever be honest with each other and confess how they really feel, or are they destined to remain just best friends, this time without the benefits? Although not one of my favourites, I did like the story, but I must admit to getting a bit lost sometimes. This was to do with each chapter starting with a month and year where something big happened in their lives. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Cardeno C. - CC to friends - is a hopeless romantic who wants to add a lot of happiness and a few "awwws" into a reader's day. Writing is a nice break from real life as a corporate type and volunteer work with gay rights organizations. Cardeno's stories range from sweet to intense, contemporary to paranormal, long to short, but they always include strong relationships and walks into the happily-ever- after sunset.
Cardeno's Home, Family, and Mates series have received awards from Love Romances and More Golden Roses, Rainbow Awards, the Goodreads M/M Romance Group, and various reviewers. But even more special to CC are heartfelt reactions from readers, like, "You bring joy and love and make it part of the every day."
