Eight years living in Las Vegas hasn't dimmed Abe Green's optimism, earnestness, or desire to find the one. When a sexy man with lonely eyes propositions him, Abe decides to give himself a birthday present - one night of spontaneous fun with no thoughts of the future. But one night turns into two and then three, and Abe realizes his heart is involved.
For the first time, Abe feels safe enough with someone he respects and adores to let go of his inhibitions in the bedroom. If Jason can get past his own inhibitions and open his heart and his life to Abe, he might finally find the family he craves.
This all changed the evening he met Abe in a bar, and although they only spent the night together at Abe’s house, and Jason left in the early hours of the morning, neither could forget the other man. They run into each other again, and they are then spending more nights together.
However, when Jason has to spend more time with his children, he makes sure that he kept Abe and his children apart. It is like they are two separate parts of his life, and they must stay this way. Even funnier was the day that Jason and Angela (his ex-wife) had to meet his daughters teacher….. and Jason nearly died of shock when he realised it was Abe!
This seems to be a turning point, and also having a big heart to heart with Angela, shows Jason how wrong he was with his thinking. Soon Abe is at Jason’s house all the time, even when Kirsten and Donny are staying with him. Things are still rather fraught at times, especially when Donny seems to be on a road of self destruction…. Until one day when something happens with Donny and Kirsten, Abe intervenes but with dire consequences.
As this was an audio I listened to, I should also mention Ezekiel Robison - this is the first one that I have listened to that he has narrated, and his voice is totally different to others I have listened to. However, I will be looking out for more narration by Ezekiel, as I found that he got all the emotion, laughter and everything else so right on this audio.
