I totally love Oliver, someone who had to change his life, to care for his brother Tyler when their mother dies. He needs to be the parent for his brother who was so young when their mother died, and he works hard to keep a roof over their heads, and support Ty as much as he can. Love life… what love life, he doesn’t have time for that. What he does have though, is a little time to be himself but in the guise of Miss Tique, who performs on a Friday night. But is this enough for him, he thought so, until he met Sebastian.
Sebastian is the total opposite of Oliver, and you can’t help but fall in love with him too. He has a son Scott, who he sees often, and is on good terms with Scott’s mother, and her wife!! He has been burned by previous relationships, and to me became sort of withdrawn, I think even doubting that he could find the relationship he actually wants. His partner most of the time is his cat Marv, who you will also love!!
When Oliver and Sebastian meet, they are both holding things back, but seem to be getting to know each other well. Things go get a bit rocky, when they both find out about the brother and son that each have, but they do what most people don’t do and talk about it all throughout the night. Everything starts going right for them, and just as you think that you are about to get your happy ending, something major happens instead. Boy, do you need the tissues here, I have read the book twice and still cried the second time.
Although this book had me in tears, I have to say I totally loved it, and strangely I loved it even more the second time I read it, and this will definitely be one book that I will keep to read again and again.

Highly recommend!” Deanna at Two Chicks Obsessed ~ “This might be my new favorite Nicola Haken book. Broken nearly broke me, thus becoming my favorite; but this one left me far more emotional and thoughtful. I think it's taken the crown.”
Oh, and if the kids ever ask, she moonlights as the Pink Power Ranger while they’re sleeping…
