I was gripped as soon as I started reading this book, and I loved Jamie as soon as we met him, in some ways I could relate to his character too. You will also love Ed, as he comes to the rescue when Jamie calls him to help – and what becomes obvious pretty quick is that Ed does actually love Jamie, and not just a friends love either.
Ed is right there to protect Jamie, when it becomes obvious that his ex-boyfriend is out to cause trouble. Jamie is quite unsettled, and it soon becomes apparent that something is happening, but even Jamie is not sure if he is imagining things worse than they actually are, or if it is actually somebody making him think this.
Ed is beginning to realise just how much Jamie means to him, and that he really loves him, but it is a line he won’t cross, as he fears of losing Jamie from his life totally – and this is the worst thing that Ed can imagine. However, as things begin to escalate, Ed and Jamie do grow even closer, and now they have to decide if they are destined to be together, or will something stop them from finding out.
I am not going to give away the plot of the book, but boy did AE Ryecart keep me hooked. I just had to keep reading to find out what was happening and why, and I did endure a roller coaster ride when all was revealed. I can honestly say that I will definitely be looking for more books by this author, especially with the suspense element of the story.
