I can also say that my family think i am totally nuts, as I would be laughing so much - they are not used to me laughing while reading! This book had everything in it, and boy do you really feel for Jaxon. To say he is an accident waiting to happen is not far from the truth, but with his family around him, I'm quite amazed he is as level headed as he is.
The excerpt below is a prime example of why you will laugh so much, it's not funny what happened (ok, maybe it is a little), but it is his comments, and the thoughts going through his mind which will have you laughing out loud. It gets even funnier when you are with him at the hospital, together with his best friend and his twin sister. There he had to meet the man of his dreams, while in quite the predicament!
Then his family - Jaxon knows he is gay, he just sort of, never told them..... until the day he had to., or more like he was totally outed, but you can't help but smile here too! Added in here is when things get even worse when Jaxon has to attend a family dinner, to find his the man of his dreams in attendance too, and the family broadcasting he was still a virgin!
Tyler is also drawn to Jaxon though, there is something about him that pushes all his buttons, that he wants to explore and see what happens between them - however, he also has a big secret that he hasn't told anyone and it is only time before it comes to light. Can Tyler get to know the real Jaxon and also show Jaxon the real Tyler before everything gets out of control??
This is the first book I have read by this author, and I really did love it. I laughed out loud at some of the events in the book, but then also felt sad when other things happened. I have never felt so sorry for a character as I did for Jaxon, with what happened to him, and what his family does in their own style to try and help him. If you want a laugh as you read, please get this book, you will not be disappointed.
