This book did give me a laugh though once I got right into it, and I laughed out loud at some parts, (good job I was alone and not anywhere with other people around), especially the excerpt shown below. I loved how Stone would say things too, you would know the saying but know that there was something not quite right.
Stone had brought himself a house to fix up, and when he moves in he finds out he has a real grumpy neighbour - and he then really enjoys doing everything he can to antagonise his neighbour more!! From this, you know that Stone is attracted to Dare, but cannot help but drive him crazy!!
Dare was someone I wasn't sure if I wanted to like him or not. With how he would act with Stone, at times, I really didn't like him, but then at other times he seemed a real softy. He really had a problem with Stone, and how he acts with him shows this, although sometimes, I think Dare wishes he could call his words back and tell Stone what he really feels - and as we read, we begin to find out why Dare acts like he does.
This is the second book in the series, and although I had problems getting into the book, I will be reading the rest of the series. I love reading series where you keep in contact with previous couples, and this book delivers this, and I think future books will too.
