We meet both Frank and Taylor, when Frank is the rookie Policeman who answers the call to Taylor's house, and it is Frank who actually finds him hidden away - thus an unbreakable bond is created between the two.
Frank is a permanant fixture in Taylors life, and we see what life is like for the two, as we go through the next few years. I had to laugh, as one thing that Taylor objected to, was Frank always calling him "kid"! Well, when they firsst met, he was a kid, but now he is an adult, and has grown quite a bit.
Taylor knows he is gay, and that he is actually attracted to Frank, but what can he really do about it? Will Frank feel the same way? There is only one way to find out....
However, while Taylor is trying to let Frank know his true feelings, what nobody knows is that there is someone lurking about, and he wants to finish what he started a decade earlier. Also in this part of the story, are some amazing plot twists that you will not see coming, I know for sure I didn't.
I really enjoyed both reading and listening to this story, and I can guarantee that it will be one that I will both read and listen to again and again. I should also say that I will be looking for more by Nick J. Russo, as I just love the sound of his voice.
Wow! AWESOME story! Gripped me from the very start. Loved the premise. Nick J Russo did a fantastic job with the characters. Highly recommend!
May-december, Friends to Lovers, touch of suspense. Nick J Russo is a favorite narrator of mine and I can never tire of him. His voice is smooth and his pacing s more like telling a story not reading it. I love his voices for both Taylor and Frank and how distinctive they are. This is on my to listen to again list!
