I admit that I have this story on my Kindle, but when I checked, I brought this in 2013, so it was like listening to the story for the first time!!
I don't have much audio with Sean Crisden as the narrator, but he really does have a voice that pulls you into the story, and keeps a tight hold on you until you have finished.
I loved this story, Jack and Riley are so funny together, but oh so in love, and this comes across all the time. They have decided that they want to expand their family, and have thought long and hard and decided on the surrogate route, with Jack as the father.
You will not be able to help but laugh at what happens when they go to the offices to begin the process of the surrogate, and also again when it is time for Jack to make his "deposit"!!
Once they have chosen their surrogate, they then meet her family, and included in this, is a young boy they are currently fostering. Both Riley and Jack are drawn to the young boy, who is actually a special needs child. However, the more often they meet him, he manages to steal a bit more of their hearts.
They are closely following the pregnancy of their surrogate, and are determined to be involved as much as they can, within reason of course. However, this pregnancy holds a surprise for everyone too. I'm not going to spoil things and say what happens, but this is one story that will really enjoy, and I think go back to again and again.
This really was a great story to get lost in, and you were completely drawn into the story with the narrator. I can guarantee that this will be an audio that I will listen to again and again.
